03/06/2025: This is a very pleasant restaurant at the Northern edge of Sirmione where you can sit outside in the garden which stretches down to Lake Garda. Service is fast and friendly and the food is very good. We started with focaccia and followed it up with fish (my wife) and a chicken and rice dish for me, washed down with cold beer and followed by dessert. All was very good and served quickly. Recommended.

01/06/2025: With so much choice to eat in Sirmione, especially around the ferry terminal, you have to go further out from those restaurants to find this absolute gem of a restaurant. It's not that easy to find as you cannot see the tables and entrance from the main pedestrian walkway but persevere and you will be rewarded by not only excellent authentic Italian food but exceptional service too. We were only in Sirmione for 3 days but ate here 3 evenings as service and food were too good not to have. For me it's the little touches that make the difference. The waitress getting a blanket to put round my wife's shoulders as the evening chill set in when sat outside without asking (I didn't even notice she was cold, but she was!) Noticing the waiters and manager relaxed and smiling even on a busy evening with the other guests and even each other. Food was hot, very tasty and wait times were just right. No rush to leave the place and on one night the waitress suggested if we want to move inside a really good table has come available. So we said yes and she helped us 'relocate' to a lovely cozy table in the warmth. It was April and the evenings could get a little chilly. OverallI cannot rate this place highly. Every visit was as good as the last This place is not reliant on having the best frontage but you can get a table by the lake or choose to sit inside. They excel on food and service, perfect! Thank you for a wonderful experience

20/05/2025: We stopped for happy hour. From 3pm to 6pm, drinks and beer are available for 5 euros each. It's worth it to sit down and chat. We didn't eat any food.

18/05/2025: Mangiare in riva al canale, proprio di fronte al molino è qualcosa di veramente appagante e rilassante. Questo locale vanta una location bellissima e curata, con una vista sul canale davvero speciale. Il menù è incentrato su proposte di pesce fresco e piatti della tradizione veneta. Particolari ed appaganti le tagliatelle al caffè con gamberi e mandorle. Molto buona anche la tagliata di tonno e l’orata al forno. La lista dei vini è variegata e ben fornita con buone proposte anche alla mescita. Il servizio è professionale ed efficiente ed prezzo un po’ impegnativo, ma rispecchia la location e la qualità della cucina. Consigliato per occasioni particolari.

29/05/2025: Today, May 29, my celiac husband and I went to this wonderful restaurant for lunch and we couldn't help but write a super review. 02/05/2025: After a few years we returned to the Da Caliendo tavern and this time I didn't like it (much better when it was facing the square), perhaps it was the fact of wanting to imitate the master chef's gourmet dishes but more than anything else you pay dearly and you leave fasting, tiny but very expensive dishes (in fact a couple next to us was complaining), in the end it was time to get home and we were still hungry. Conclusion: I won't go there again.

16/05/2025: Almost a year ago we got married in this place with a civil ceremony in the afternoon and then dinner on the terrace with a wonderful view. Everything was perfect and we are very happy. Lara and Andrea are perfect, very kind and know how to offer excellent contacts for all the additional services. We were looking for a location that had some characteristics, never found elsewhere. By getting married on a weekday we didn't even have to book many months in advance. The place is really beautiful, simple and elegant, but it is not very big and for this reason we highly recommend it for intimate weddings. It was exactly what we wanted: a romantic getaway to the lake with few but good. The food is excellent quality, refined and interesting. We also really enjoyed the wedding cake. Our guests had a great time, they relaxed and the whole day was fluid and joyful. The costs were fair. There is also a beautiful suite for the newlyweds.

04/04/2025: A medieval experience not to be missed! I went to this restaurant and was thrilled with it. The atmosphere is unique: stone walls, medieval decorations with attention to the smallest details and soft lighting that makes everything even more evocative. The food is simply delicious, with dishes prepared with quality ingredients and particular attention to presentation. The staff is highly trained, helpful and always kind, ready to recommend the best of the menu. A detail that particularly struck me was the bathroom, a real highlight. Here, toothpaste, deodorant, hand cream and many other useful products are available to customers that make anyone feel at ease, like at home. A restaurant that I highly recommend to everyone, both for the quality of the food and the attention to the customer. Congratulations to the staff for the excellent service! I will definitely go back.

20/05/2025: Located in the center of Trento, Rosa D'oro is an elegant and welcoming restaurant/pizzeria. The kitchen offers typical and traditional dishes of Trentino and Italian cuisine. The pizzas are good and digestible. Wide assortment of wines and beers. More than fair prices and good quality! Recommended!

12/05/2025: We went to this restaurant twice during our stay in Trento because of the great food and very friendly staff. The food is made with care and love, and it takes a while before it's served, which is a good sign. The portions are large and very reasonable priced. The housewine is tasty and the prosecco (only 3 euro for a glass!) is well recommended. The menu is both Italian and Tirolese. We were served by a very friendly waiter who knew a lot about the menu. The restaurant is situated in a great cellar which creates a cosey atmosphere. Definitely recommended, and we got a limonchello from the house!

23/04/2025: My fiancé brought me to this restaurant in January as he had found it online with amazing reviews. When he brought me to the restaurant, his intention was to propose to me after we had eaten dinner. However, due to our entire experience at this restaurant being so mediocre, he chose to propose to me in a different location. To start, the menu is very interesting; however, the plates completely miss the mark. Usually, when you are served small plates, the flavor packs a punch. This was absolutely not the case here. We ate several courses before a single plate contained any flavor. For the cost of the dining experience, this is completely unacceptable. Additionally, we had to call the servers and waiters over several times so we could order wine. One waitress in particular had a nasty attitude when we would ask her to please serve us, which we shouldn't have had to do in the first place. Once we were finally served our bottle, it was kept far away from our table. This would have been fine if the waiters were attentive to when our glasses were empty. Every single time, we had to ask them to refill both our water and wine glasses. And, it's not that we finished a glass and immediately wondered where the next one was, we would finish a glass and wait at least 10 minutes before calling over the waiter. Finally, when my fiancé chose this restaurant, one of the main characteristics that attracted him was how the interior looked online: dimly lit, cozy, and intimate. Again, this was not the reality of the restaurant. Of course, the location is beautiful and the interior is well-kept, but the lighting was bright and not at all intimate. And honestly, the back room where we were sitting was decorated pretty sparsely. Overall, the experience was disappointing as it would have been ideal to have a wonderful dinner that ended in a proposal.

Just one piece of advice which is not a note because the raw materials are top quality…. The plating could be done a little better. I don't mean those useless chef doodles. Simply present the dishes better.

03/06/2025: Non è facile trovare all’interno una trattoria dove si mangia ottimo pesce, ma qui è così. Senza considerare la posizione ottima,la gentilezza del personale e la velocità del servizio. Da ritornarci.

18/03/2025: Beautiful place a little outside the center but wonderfully served by the shuttle driven by the friendly Andrea. The room, perhaps room 305, was beautiful, the spa managed by a very kind and knowledgeable lady, the wonderful cuisine. Overall, a 10 and praise. Well done! However, never forget the key 😅

09/03/2025: Tarde a buen ritmo con una variedad de deliciosos e imaginativos sabores. El servicio está bien juzgado entre la atención y el espacio para disfrutar de los cursos. Los bonitos, originales y sabrosos gueles de apertura también fueron divertidos y prepararon el escenario para el menú clásico. Los canederli en caldo de capón estaban repletos de sabor y una porción de tamaño perfecto que daba espacio para apreciar los platos restantes, incluido el venado más tierno infundido con ginebra Campiglio y té souchong Lapsang. La explosión final del sabor fue de 3 bombones presentados en una silueta de las montañas Brenta dibujados en caramelo. ¡Delicioso! Un placer maravilloso para las papilas gustativas en un escondite relajado y hermoso.

04/06/2025: A truly enchanting place, immersed in a typically Sicilian atmosphere that conquers from the first moment. The context is relaxing and well-kept, ideal for a regenerating break or a simple dinner. The staff is very kind, attentive and quick in their service, always with a smile. The food? Simply excellent: authentic, well presented and full of flavors as you would expect in Sicily. The busiate alle sarde are highly recommended! An experience definitely worth repeating.

25/05/2025: Run away! A charming restaurant for a disastrous dining experience. Don't get the pizza. I'm attaching a photo of mine, which was very bad. Frozen peas, plasticky sausage and ham, industrial tomato sauce, and dried mushrooms. A disaster! And that's not to mention the completely uncomfortable seats. In short, avoid it.
