13/10/2025: What a hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived it was absolutely stunning. We were greeted and shown around and given the choice of 2 rooms which was such a pleasant surprise but a tough choice! The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking and we never tired of it - waking up in the morning to the Dolomites was something else and seeing the silhouette of the moon was equally as impressive. The location is great for various ski lifts as well as numerous hikes. Just as impressive as the view has to be the food that's served as part of the half board. Everything that is served is fresh, tasteful and so well presented, it's safe to say this was our favourite place we ate on our honeymoon. There was a choice each night of a meat, fish or vegetable option so you could always be happy with what you were getting. One day we will be back as the service, views, food and room were all second to none and we absolutely loved our stay!

10/09/2025: This is a small, family-run hotel with a good number of facilities but stunning views of the mountains. As with most families, we stayed half-board and it was great. I'm a somewhat fussy eater but when a dish contained something I didn't like (coffee or celery for example) they could exclude it. The Michelin chef clearly knows their stuff as every dish was delicious, if not a little fussy. The menu changes each night. Breakfast was a served buffet affair and absolutely fine for what it is. We had a junior suite on the top floor and although we suffered a fair number of bangs to the head (being well over 6' doesn't help) the room was lovely. We didn't draw the curtains as waking up to the mountain view cannot be beaten. The town has a few cafés and restaurants if you are looking for a meal away from the hotel. It's a 100m climb (around 2km to the centre) but a fairly gentle slope up. Would happily stay here again and indeed plan to.

05/10/2025: The quality of the pizza is truly excellent, but it's a shame that the fries, which weren't exactly fresh, ruined my dinner. The staff is very welcoming and kind. I was disappointed and told the waitress that the fries were rubbery, meaning they weren't fried well or as "fresh" as I'd expected. I'm a pizza lover and I couldn't help but notice this detail. You could have tried to address this inconvenience by simply offering a discount on the final bill, which wouldn't have changed my life, but it would have been a gesture of understanding and a clear sense of regret for what happened.

04/10/2025: Unfortunately, the pizza was terrible. The service was nice and the place was clean, but we haven't had such a bad pizza in a long time. The dough tasted like a baked roll, and the toppings were a pure grease mess with no flavor.

04/10/2025: Overall a good experience. But it could've been better. Nice restaurant with good food. There was a small rock in my starter vegetables which I noticed after biting in it. Told the waitress and her reaction was 'oh, we wash all our vegetables' and walked away. No apology, no compensation. It didn't broke my tooth, so oke we move on. She came back asking if we're finished while I was still chewing my last bite. But sure, we're finished. (It wasn't even packed, so why rush?) Delicious main course, I had the lamb. Another waitress asked 'are you fininshed?' Yes and she took the plates. The food was good thanks for asking. So yeah, could've been better.

28/09/2025: Food was meh. The mozzarella was rubbery and had a hair in it. The pasta was better, but from a box. The restaurant is in a basement with African (?) art on the wall? The wine was good and the service was friendly. Fine if you're in a pinch but there are much better options.

18/09/2025: It was recommended by our friends in Borgotaro, and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It's also reasonably priced for the quality. We won't hesitate to return.

09/09/2025: We happened to eat at this restaurant during our trip to Palermo. Very friendly restaurant, very kind staff, and a waiter who also spoke French. We had a starter, main course, and dessert; everything was very good. I recommend it.

11/10/2025: A lovely café in a fantastic location, with great prices (€1.70 for a cappuccino) and delicious food. We spontaneously stopped by for breakfast, persuaded by the good reviews, and were not disappointed! We'd go back anytime, and even went back in the afternoon for a warm drink.

27/10/2025: Beware, this restaurant is operating in violation of the law and is completely dishonest. We entered this restaurant yesterday based on a generic menu posted on the door that read "first courses €15." Once inside, they seated us, and a very shrewd lady listed the few dishes we could order, since we are vegetarians, without giving us a written menu or even a price. Based on the price posted outside, we ordered two tagliolini with truffles. Unfortunately, at checkout, we were charged €40 each instead of €15, claiming it was an off-menu dish. Now, I'm not disputing the price of the dish, but the policy of this restaurant is completely dishonest. I actually tried to raise the matter the next day (I didn't want to cause a controversy in front of the other customers), but they wouldn't listen, thus confirming the lady's bad faith. She wouldn't even let me speak on the phone to express my opinion, coming across as very arrogant and rude. The law is clear and requires that the menu be displayed both outside the restaurant and handed to the customer, and must also include any extra dishes, which wasn't done. I personally didn't ask the price of the dish, because I thought it was included in the "first course" section on the door. I therefore strongly advise against this restaurant because you risk very high, and especially unexpected, bills. In fact, I paid €92 for two paltry tagliolini with truffle (by the way, the truffle is usually sliced ​​in front of the customer) and a water. The most annoying thing is that you feel truly robbed, as well as treated badly, because they didn't want to find a solution in any way, despite the obvious mistake. They even managed to tell me (so they're also billiard players) that the price was listed on the wine list, but they never gave it to me, especially since I didn't drink the wine, being a teetotaler. After speaking with locals, they confirmed the restaurant's reputation, so I recommend you skip it.

12/10/2025: The two of us went and had one appetizer, one pasta, one steak, and one dessert. The portions were just right, and the food was delicious and presented beautifully. And the view was amazing. You could see the dome and bell tower.

25/09/2025: This evening I went to eat at Vittorio's by the sea with my mom. We had a really good time! Amazing food, impeccable service! The prices are moderately high, justified by the quality of the ingredients and the location... Boccadasse is one of the most beautiful seaside villages in Italy! I recommend it! Lucia

01/10/2025: I had the pleasure of celebrating my graduation party at Hotel Scapolatiello. Everything was simply fantastic! The planning process for my event was meticulous, with attention to detail and professionalism, from the room setup to the exquisite dinner. All my guests were extremely satisfied with the evening. It left me with a wonderful memory, one of many on such an important day for me. I hope to return soon!
