We arrived at the hotel for 9 days, 6 of us, two families. The travel agency only managed to book 2 3-bed rooms for us, but we indicated when booking that 2 rooms were a scam, one for 4 and one for 2, so we would like a room. In 3 months, there was no feedback that they could not solve this, and on site they said that they did not have a 4-bed room :( we asked that we could at least get a mattress, let us sleep on the floor. If there is nothing else, just let the family be together. They did not help us in any way :( finally we went to the neighboring town, bought a single inflatable mattress and the family could be together. Apart from the first conflict, it is a very cozy place, it is family-run, it shows in everything. The staff is very friendly, kind (even the cleaners, which is not typical in a large hotel). The service could only be booked with breakfast, which was very varied and delicious. In the evenings we often had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The menu, although I did not have a lot of choice, but what we tasted was very delicious and tasty. The rooms are well equipped, not particularly modern, but practical. The rooftop pool and the panorama of the rooms are magnificent. They did not take the closing time of the pool too seriously, if we stayed a little longer in the evening and it was absolutely fine. There is a separate bar by the pool, it is worth eating and drinking there. The owners are present in everyday life, they are kind, attentive and you can feel this throughout the hotel. The location of the hotel is a little different from usual. There is nothing nearby. You have to take a bus for everything, but the bus schedule is quite good, you can go anywhere with a 2 euro ticket per person. The sea was the most missing thing, it is almost impossible to find it without a car and with small children. Steep shores, secluded streets. Once we managed to find a beach in 9 days, it was also crowded, but the hotel pool is clean, tidy, the water is a good temperature, this made up for it. Such a wonderful panorama and sunset are rare in places, we couldn't get enough of it. Overall, after the chaos of the first day, we loved being there. I still don't know if there really are no 4-bed rooms or if they just didn't want to solve it. (There were more than one family of 4 at the hotel, but we didn't ask them how they slept) In our place, instead of a comfortable mattress/bed, our main slept on a tent mattress every night, but apart from that, everything was fine.

We recently had our first trip to Italy! With so many restraunts available it can be hard deciding where to eat. But once we had our first experiance at Riccardo Francischiello, we knew we had found our favorite spot! We dinned here 3 nights during our stay & every single dish was fantastic! Our favorite of all the appetizers was a Antipasto Di Mare. It came with several types of fish ranging from fried calamari, sardines ( which in my past experience at other restraunts I didnt enjoy but here they are FANTASTIC! I'd even go as far to say 1 of my favorites), grilled octopus, salmon, shrimp, squid salad. We received an appetizer (compliments of the Chef each night we dinned ) which was 2 different types of Crocchettas. 1 savory & 1 sweet. The savory was my favorite & the sweet my husbands so it worked out perfectly 😋. For our meals my husband got the seafood risotto & myself the baked fish which was expertly de-boned & de-skinned table side! Other dishes we tried during our stay was an eggplant dish, a ravioli special in a cream sauce, linguini with lobster & the Bolognaise! Of all my main dishes the Bologaise was my favorite! By far the best i've ever had! -- And dont pass on desert! Last night we took a caramel cake up to our room to enjoy later & it was fantastic!! I cant say enough about the staff here! All of them so kind, professional & knowlegable about the dishes & which wines pair well. And I have the mention how extremely reasonable the prices are! You simply cant get this type of quality for that price point anywhere anymore! By far 1 of the best restraunts in the area! If you're staying in the Sorento area it is DEFINATLY worth it to go outside the main are to experience this amazing restraunt! I cant say enough wonderful things about the food, the ambiance & the wonderful staff!! This place is a must try!!! Great restaurant with a fantastic view, delicious food, and unobtrusive service; no reservation was required in mid-June; free parking available. Highly recommended!

I visited here and had dinner on my birthday while in Italy. The service was awesome and so was the food. The views are immaculate. I 100% recommend.

The food was AMAZING...EVERYTHING!

Good restaurant with especially good fish dishes. We stayed at the hotel and ate there one evening - it is definitely recommended. If you ask for dessert, they come rolling in with a dessert table where you can order yourself. Very original and delicious. If you come to the restaurant early, you will get a table with a view of the sea. Large selection of primarily local wines - many of them at extremely reasonable prices.

We had 3 nights booked at the hotel and had dinner one evening. What a beautiful experience. Delicious food, with outstanding service. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back. The restaurant opens in the evenings, although Google states "closed". The dinner hours are specified from 19.00 to 23.00 hrs.

Dinner experience on Thursday, January 29, 2026. I was hesitant to eat there because, being winter and the hotel undergoing renovations, there was scaffolding at all the restaurant windows. Aside from the two of us, when we arrived at 7:30 pm, there was only one other couple and their child. So, I preferred to disregard the atmosphere, because if tourists don't go in winter, it's not their fault, and renovations are inevitable for all buildings. So, we sat down anyway. And we were very glad we went. Everything was perfect! The waiter started by offering us a plate of delicious little bites. Then, I ordered the "Ricardo menu" and was first served a seafood platter with an assortment of beautifully prepared bites! My wife started with the lemon risotto. She loved it. Then my zucchini ravioli were delicious, and my wife had a veal escalope with lemon, which she also enjoyed. We shared a fruit panna cotta and a cappuccino. All of this was served with impeccable service. Thank you. Grazie!
