29/07/2025: It's been a while since I've given 5 stars for every aspect, but in this case, they're well deserved. A free tasting of all the bubbles and a few other treats, including the excellent EVO oil, was provided by the beautiful and kind Gaia, and lunch at the agriturismo on a spectacular outdoor terrace, with excellent food and refined service. The price was in line with the offer, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! PS: I went back the next evening and can only confirm what I've already written.

22/07/2025: Nice winery near Lake Garda, local grapes and wines of good quality. Very good service in the shop.

01/07/2025: Beautiful spot with great food Loved the vibe and location—super beautiful and relaxing. The polpo was tasty, though could’ve been a bit more tender. Tartare was great and surprisingly big. My boyfriend got the hare rigatoni with a blackberry coulis, which was a really nice touch. We ended with an affogato and sweet ginger tea—simple and perfect. Would definitely come back!

04/07/2025: Beautiful place, you eat very well, well cooked food, kind and polite staff, the fried platter is superb, but it wasn't very abundant, I would have added some fried calamari... but overall excellent to do again.... we went back again this year but the quantity has decreased a lot and the prices have slightly increased.....mhaaa

13/07/2025: A must-do experience, the restaurant is well worth the trip even though it's not in the city center. The cuisine is inventive, delicious, and truly refined. A must-try for the value for money that exceeds all expectations (tasting menu). Adorable service and a great wine list. Perfect!

28/06/2025: A very pleasant discovery, high level service. Excellent and decidedly refined food with high level raw materials and extraordinary flavours. All in an exclusive environment and with great attention to detail. Parking nearby is also very easy. Two important details: the mini vegetable garden from which the chefs pick aromatic herbs and early produce and the open kitchen with the staff working and having fun while preparing the dishes. Practically endless wine list...

31/07/2025: A very pleasant lunch outside: attentive service, excellent dishes made with high-quality ingredients. The only thing worth mentioning about the restaurant owner: two glasses of wine cost a whopping €16 (€8 each), a significant price, especially since it doesn't correlate with the quality of the wine—a fresh but rather basic wine that usually costs around €10 in wine shops. Overall, a very positive experience.

25/07/2025: The cuisine is good. Our main dish was 5 filled pasta for 15€, so we had the impression to pay for the design and location. The service was good.

29/05/2025: Today, May 29, my celiac husband and I went to this wonderful restaurant for lunch and we couldn't help but write a super review. 02/05/2025: After a few years we returned to the Da Caliendo tavern and this time I didn't like it (much better when it was facing the square), perhaps it was the fact of wanting to imitate the master chef's gourmet dishes but more than anything else you pay dearly and you leave fasting, tiny but very expensive dishes (in fact a couple next to us was complaining), in the end it was time to get home and we were still hungry. Conclusion: I won't go there again.

28/07/2025: Terrible! The food is definitely not freshly prepared and is overpriced. The staff, while friendly, barely even look you in the face when they bring you food. The seats are full of crumbs, some of the cutlery is dirty, the bottom of the plates isn't clean, and the chef is constantly smoking outside (where everyone can see him). Definitely don't eat there!!!

07/08/2025: Eating in the oldest tower in Florence, it's quite amazing to touch a stone thay was placed in the 6th century. The restaurant only has 6 tables, so definitely book in advance. All the dishes we had were lovely, i like their raw shrimp, the sole fish and the dessert (peach).

21/07/2025: The strangest and very unfriendly thing was that when I arrived at 22:10 the waiter said the kitchen will be closed 22:30 although in google it is said the restaurant is open till midnight. The menu was only in Italian. No English version. When I said I don’t understand a word, the waiter offered me to use google translate instead of guiding me through the menu himself. The water I ordered stayed on the table-I had to serve myself a drink. Which was weird considering the concept and level of the restaurant and pricing. It was the first time in my life when I didn’t leave a tip. I feel sorry for that but I couldn’t compromise. Though I have to admit the food was good. And if it wasn’t about the service I would’ve come back again.

Il servizio è velocissimo, bene per chi ha il tempo contato, qualità gradevole, quantità nella norma, prezzo adeguato, nello standard dei pranzi di lavoro. Nelle ore di punta, per pranzo, parcheggio non sempre facile...ma ritengo sia normale

19/06/2025: All in all good, prices a little high but magnificent location. from a location like this, and from quality food I expected a higher level of service. Not that it was terrible, on the contrary, just that from a place like this and from the food they serve I expected a service a little more attentive and professional.

18/06/2025: Suggestive environment for the presence of many antiques. Very varied menu starting from appetizers to desserts. I recommend it both for the atmosphere and for the quality of the dishes.

31/07/2025: We ordered rare meat and they brought it overcooked. I had asked for Angus, but instead they brought me a slice of heifer. When we complained about the mistake, they candidly replied: "Oh well, but you ate it!" Not only disorganized and careless, but also rude. As far as I'm concerned, they can only sell sandwiches and salami: grilled meat isn't for them. I'll definitely never go back.
