Informal environment where you can eat Piedmontese almost by candlelight or comfortably sitting outside, the service is very courteous, an excellent wine cellar and the house scaraffato is also excellent. I hadn't eaten a cheek like this in years, praise also for the appetizers, at the end they even offered us limoncello and coffee, what can I say?

In questo locale per "tradizione" festeggio ormai da qualche anno il mio compleanno. Scelto inizialmente per caso, ma fin da subito è riuscito a distinguersi per il suo carattere autentico e spontaneo. Qui si passa una serata tra amici nel massimo della spensieratezza. Il cibo è molto buono e con prezzi in linea.

On a sunny Sunday in Turin, after a nice walk around Parco del Valentino we found this osteria on Google and, intrigued by the reviews, we decided to try it, also managing to find a seat an hour before lunch time. Very suggestive atmosphere, room deliberately devoid of light to recreate the setting of an ancient tavern. On the walls there are posters of old films and crevices full of old empty wine bottles (who knows how much dust). The staff is very courteous and makes us comfortable. We shared an appetizer and a plate of artichokes, two delicious first courses and a plate of meatballs for my son who devoured it and I made a slipper with the sauce which was delicious. Followed by delicious desserts. Perhaps the only mistake was taking the house wine which didn't make me crazy, but I thought I would have gone to a tavern like this without fail. An absolutely must-try place if you are passing through Santa Giulia. The only slightly discordant note was the price: more than 80 euros which I honestly didn't understand how it came out considering we were two and a half people. Dividing an appetizer and only two first courses. ADVISED!

Very good lunch. Very good appetizer, top cured meats and cheeses, as a Puglian, the burratina seemed very good to me. But the first and second courses are the strong dishes: tagliatelle, port sausage, caramelized onion and hazelnuts, stew and shank with chestnut purée. VERY GOOD. nice and professional staff, especially the girl with red hair who was very kind and satisfied all our whims. We will definitely be back
