27/05/2025: A very welcome surprise in the treasure chest of the ancient village of Lanciano. Menu with delicious typical dishes, impeccable service and courtesy, welcoming environment in line with the context of the location. Highly recommended.

03/06/2025: Unfortunately, I only recently discovered this place. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is that of a classic piola It's about 15 minutes from the center, so it's worth a visit Recommended

03/06/2025: Excellent trattoria, and very “classic”. Food & wine menu are written by hand, always a good sign. Go with local dishes, ask the waiting staff for a wine pairing, and again, go local. You can’t miss. We explained broadly what we don’t like, and we were recommended a lovely bottle of Nebbiolo, nothing crazy @ €20 but just perfect for our spontaneous meal. Would definitely help to speak a little Italian just to be respectful, I can’t rate the ease of English translation as we ordered in Italian. Excellent, and honest.

01/06/2025: Every time I am in this location, it is a privilege to taste the poor but rich dishes of Neapolitan cuisine. The owner, originally from Salerno, enriches the menu with unique gastronomic dishes to distinguish himself from the competition but to please his customers. Today, June 1st at 1:50 pm, I had the opportunity to taste his culinary invention in advance. As a good Neapolitan, I "arricriato" a typical Neapolitan saying. "Enriched with flavors and soul"! I thank him for having made me taste it.... Pasta al dente, cherry tomatoes, grape segments, olive oil and lots and lots of fish. All while tasting a sparkling white wine. I also thank the staff. The meter of Sala the gentleman S. who with gallantry, in addition to serving has conversed admirably.... Now, it's time to savor a good ☕️....to make the fumes of the alcohol of the good grapes vanish! Highly recommended.

09/05/2025: We went on a trip out of town with the family... a place surrounded by greenery a few km from Guardia Perticara, as soon as we arrived a girl welcomed us with a beautiful smile and we immediately felt at home... a delicious appetizer that immediately filled us up so much that we couldn't finish the very good first courses, the gem was that they made my girls feel really at home by allowing them to say hello to the chef in the kitchen... in fact here I asked my daughter what was the best thing about the trip day he replied "the best thing was that the girl took me into the kitchen behind the counter and behind the cash register" just for this thank you very much We will return to taste the second courses 😁

03/06/2025: On June 2nd I was passing by with my motorbike, given the late hour I stopped for lunch, the very nice owner welcomed me with cordiality. I ate very well, both the first and second courses were excellent, also the coffee was very good. Everyone was kind and helpful, if you pass by Villa Santa Maria I sincerely recommend it both for the quality of the food, the staff and the quiet environment. Excellent quality/price ratio.

31/05/2025: Spectacular experience. First of all, the wonderful welcome from the owner, super kind and helpful. Very nice and relaxing location, river view. Impeccable service, fast and very satisfying.. then moving on to the dishes, nothing short of exquisite, first courses of the highest quality, fresh pasta and abundant portions. What can I say.. 5 stars are too few for this wonderful place! ❤️

17/05/2025: Very well-kept and beautiful place! The decor is very nice and very exciting especially the outdoor area cared for in the smallest details! Excellent food quality and a very extensive menu. Average prices for this type of restaurant. Let's say it's a restaurant where the portions are right / abundant and cared for, gourmet type ... but you leave when you're really full! Excellent service, always present for any need ... highly recommended! Fresh and local fish above all!!!!

25/05/2025: Prezzi davvero sproporzionati rispetto alla location, che è normalissima e non ti mettono neanche una tovaglietta sotto al piatto, e soprattutto rispetto ai piatti e alle bevande. Troppo rincaro sul cliente in tutto, ti pelano. Non ci tornerò.

22/05/2025: Stopped in attracted by fairy lights and menu, sat outside through an untypical rainstorm for 2 hours during which we had primi, 2 secondi, 2 desserts and coffee and ended up inside for amari. Such great and pleasant service! Photo before rain.

16/03/2025: This was the best restaurant we went to when we visited campo smith. The hot skillet was really tasty and we had a hot dog which was the best one we had here the others were just plain this one had all the trimmings and a nicer bun. Would highly recommend

10/05/2025: Welcoming place and super efficient service, you have the option to choose whether to dine with meat, fish or pizza. Good food and decent dishes, I would say not abundant.... Decent quality/price ratio. Recommended for an informal dinner or lunch with friends or colleagues.
