4 Ciance In Cuneo

We ate here on our first day in Piemonte, where we have two objectives: eat good food and drink good wine. In one meal at 4 Ciance these were easily met and exceeded. The food was delightful: we had the four (6 really) course tasting menu: gazpacho and focaccia as amuse bouches, cockerel terrine, cod, seafood pasta (my favourite), veal cheek, a selection of local cheeses (my husband had the selection of desserts), and petits fours of cannoli and a little chocolate and raspberry tart. This was accompanied by a white wine from the region (grillobianche) which was light and minerally and accompanied the food perfectly. The service was fantastic - friendly and professional and attentive. The atmosphere was very pleasant - all the tables were full and everyone was enjoying themselves, but they were well spaced so you could have a conversation without needing to raise your voice; no doubt helped by the impressive vaulted ceilings. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and we found it to be well priced too, given the quality of the ingredients and the cooking. A truly wonderful restaurant, featured in the Michelin Guide. A genuine gastronomic experience, excellent Piedmontese cuisine, with a surf and turf menu for 45 euros. Very good value for money. The vaulted setting is magnificent and the service impeccable. Don't hesitate!

A trattoria where you're welcomed with kindness and professionalism, the atmosphere is comfortable and homey, and the spacious rooms allow for conversation without having to raise your voice too much. The kitchen offers three tasting menus where tradition reigns supreme. You can also order the same dishes offered on the menu à la carte. I'll start with the end: the plate with the 4 small (?!) samples was a great success, both for the concept (who wouldn't want to try several desserts at the end of the meal but for obvious reasons only orders one?) and for the taste!!! A 10. The plin were good, and the sauce, made with ossobuco ragù and pecorino cheese, was even better. The veal with tuna sauce was exactly what I expected: tradition and deliciousness! All the other dishes enjoyed by our other guests were also highly rated. Recommended 🔝
