06/08/2025: We celebrated our daughter's First Communion and I must say we had a wonderful time. The location was beautiful. The owner was top-notch, attentive to detail, and incredibly friendly!!! Excellent value for money, with fresh, quality ingredients. RECOMMENDED

17/08/2025: I have been a customer for more than twenty years. Yesterday, August 16, 2025, we ate three first courses, a platter for two. I pointed out to the owner that they were disgusting and tasteless. He replied, "Unfortunately, there are many customers today." This is not the response of a restaurant owner. It is not acceptable. My response in return was, "The prices are always justified only by the price list and by poor service." Bye Gianluca, never again.

11/08/2025: I'm writing a review for the restaurant: the food is awful, the pizzas seem pre-cooked and are heavy and rubbery (it's like eating at a service station). The waiter put on a show all evening, drinking from customers' tables. Is everything okay?

13/08/2025: Dinner for 12. We started badly with the really, really bad mixed fried appetizer: declared frozen, but it was on par with those from the freezer section of the supermarket. The pizzas, if possible, were even worse: raw, wet, and—mine—with horrible potatoes on top, which were neither baked nor fried, but very COLD. One of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. It's a shame because I had a very different memory of this place, which has certainly changed something in the kitchen and service recently. Never again.

06/08/2025: I would only go back if I wanted to prank a friend. Poor quality. We're still wondering what was on the pizza instead of mozzarella. I think we'll find out soon.

21/08/2025: We had lunch at this fraschetta and had one of the best carbonaras we've ever tasted. For our second course, we had arrosticini, which were also delicious. My compliments for the quality of the cuisine, simple yet delicious.

18/08/2025: We had lunch at this trattoria on August 16th. The friendly owner welcomed us and sat us down at a table, even though we hadn't booked. The place is cozy, like a typical Roman trattoria, with a blackboard listing all the day's specials. We ordered two first courses, two side dishes, eight arrosticini, and a dessert. The food was good, but the final bill was a surprise. The owner wrote down the total on a piece of paper, apologizing for not having ordered receipt pads and for the fact that the POS wasn't working because he'd had no internet the day before. Honestly, I thought it was a good excuse. I definitely won't be returning due to the lack of transparency and the fact that they took undeclared payments, with prices significantly higher than those listed on the blackboard.

21/07/2025: Those who work can make mistakes but they should also learn to recognize the mistake and not make the customer look like something he is not!!!!

15/07/2025: I stopped for lunch, 97 degrees outside, ready to enjoy a quiet meal with my dog (mini, in his carrier). On Google, the business clearly states "we accept dogs." Too bad, as soon as I entered, they rudely and rudely ushered me out. The lady at the entrance? More unpleasant than the heat outside. Zero welcome, nonexistent kindness. Instead of resolving the issue or at least explaining it politely, they chose to hastily kick me out. Conclusion: if you love dogs, and especially if you like being treated like human beings, avoid it. There are many other places where courtesy is still the order of the day (and where you won't be melted like mozzarella in the sun). Rating: 1 star, but only because zero is impossible.

27/08/2025: The Ghost of the Captain and the Beast never disappoints: 1) Impossible to receive an affirmative response to 51.9% of the requests sent; 2) Unable to receive the correct products ordered with a probability of 17.4%; 3) Unable to pay the correct bill or not pay it at least twice within a couple of hours 73.2% of the time. [Clearly one more star for the scams repeated to Saverio Vetoio and my miserable person (I enjoy it)]

21/07/2025: We stopped here on Sunday evening on our way back from Pescara to Rome. The restaurant is large, spacious, and well-kept. The open meat counter is certainly a visual delight. We wanted a good steak, but instead they offered us an EXCEPTIONAL one. The owner (I believe) explained and showed us the differences between the various cuts and gave us the best recommendations. The meat was tender, juicy, and fatty, just as we wanted, perfectly cooked, and incredibly flavorful. The service is on par with the food; the two ladies in the dining room were excellent and very kind. My only regret is that I wasn't able to thank them as much as I would have liked, but we'll definitely be back and make up for it. The platter was also very good and well-stocked, and the fries were unforgettable. House red wine and dessert to finish, and we finished on a high note, ready to continue our journey home. The value for money was definitely excellent; in Rome, you can only dream of a dinner like this with excellent meat. Well done everyone, we'll definitely be back :)

30/06/2025: we end up in capestrano almost by chance, having found the capodacqua supply closed. the town is still worth a visit and this restaurant is a regenerative stop. the owner and the owner are very welcoming and kind, the food is excellent. for a moment, between the restaurant patio and the large square in front it seems like eating in a medieval inn.. recommended!

13/02/2025: Frequento questo posto da 30 anni e fortunatamente non ha deluso i miei ricordi, anzi. La recente ristrutturazione gli ha dato pregio, sembra di stare in un'elegante baita tirolese! Ottimi la polenta con salsicce e spuntature, i ravioli ricotta e spinaci e gli gnocchetti al ragù, buoni e ben cotti gli arrosticini. Prezzi onesti e servizio veloce e cortese. Una garanzia.

24/01/2025: Locale piccola ma grazioso, menu tipico, semplice e variegato: selvaggina ottima così come i formaggi e le loro salsine di accompagnamento; i primi non da meno, super abbondanti e conditi. Nota ancor più positiva e l’ottima musica di sottofondo. Unica pecca consiglierei ai camerieri di fare un sorriso in più, che è il miglior condimento!

25/08/2025: A quiet and welcoming place, with a beautiful and relaxing panoramic view, whether you sit inside or on the terrace. The food is exquisite; the venison with red berry sauce is truly excellent. The meat is high-quality, and the first and second courses are all exceptional. You can taste the homemade dishes. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

30/07/2025: I went to Le Boiserie with high expectations, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. The place was disorganized and poorly maintained, with few products available. The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly when I asked for help. The price doesn't justify the quality offered. I won't return and I don't recommend it.

21/02/2025: Unprofessional and not organized. Typically I try to be positive and trust everyone does his best, but this is unbelievable. Booked and confirmed a table for parents and kids one month before our arrival, got a phone call one week before just to say that they could not anymore accommodate our crew, without proposing any alternative solution (come earlier, later.. go to another restaurant booked by us… nothing). Additionally got asked who confirmed so they could resolve their own disorders internally. Will never even try to book again, given the risk of dismissal and the additional work to find an alternative with short advice.

09/02/2025: Very cute and cozy restaurant in Pescocostanzo. Food was excellent. Service was perfect. Atmosphere was just what you would hope for in this quaint mountain town with small, intimate rooms and even a fireplace. Highly recommend.

15/08/2025: It was good, but the quantity was small and the price was too high for the quantity.

04/05/2025: After a wonderful experience on horseback (the first) in the family stables we stayed for dinner in the restaurant. It all made for an unforgettable day of rediscovering nature on horseback and six flavors at the highly recommended restaurant.
