In the center of Castel di Sangro, a very charming bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Delicious desserts and ice creams, especially the traditional lemon one. Very friendly staff.

The best-stocked and most welcoming bar in Castel di Sangro. The coffee is decent, as are the desserts. Spacious space with both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Sangro River. Ample parking across the street.

Il Rifugio del Cavaliere

03/02/2026: Nice, clean place, but a little outdated. It's a small, family-run hotel. Breakfast is good, but it needs some renovations. Prices are fair.
21/08/2025: Swimming pool with adjoining restaurant for lunch. In the evening it becomes a pub.
