20/06/2025: Every time I go to my parents' house I always go to have breakfast at the Viviani bar, they are kind and quick to serve.

18/11/2025: My dad and I went to this restaurant on a November afternoon. All the other restaurants in the area were closed due to the off-season, so we decided to try this one, simply because it was open. We travel frequently and have tried many different restaurants and cuisines, and this is honestly one of the worst we've ever been to. The man working there insisted the food was fresh, as if we couldn't tell the difference. Everything was completely bland. The raw salmon tasted like it had been defrosted after sitting in the freezer for too long. No amount of salt or pepper could cover the unmistakable aftertaste of low-quality ingredients. They even said they would close for the season in a few days and were out of stock on most of the menu items—so it's no surprise they weren't investing in fresh ingredients for their final days of opening. Every single thing we ordered ranged from unpalatable to completely flavorless to bitter. But nothing was as bitter as the waiter's attitude. He was incredibly rude. When we went to pay, he handed us the bill without even looking at us—no words, no glances, not even the slightest gesture of kindness or respect. A truly cheerful guy who definitely enhanced the experience. Don't set foot in this place unless your standards are really, really low.

10/10/2025: Best pizza in Malcesine! I had the mascarpone e crudo pizza! It was fantastically good and huge! The service was very friendly. I'm still dreaming about this pizza and looking forward to my next visit.

07/04/2026: It's a very old hotel, which is especially noticeable inside. The rooms seemed to vary in size, from very small to a normal-sized one, which we were fortunate enough to stay in. Grazie mille for that. Dinner was good, but breakfast left much to be desired. Many thanks to the team and owners for their warm and friendly hospitality.

27/02/2026: The old-fashioned trattoria experience... generous portions, quality products, and excellent prices. A cuisine that's slowly disappearing... highly recommended.

21/11/2025: I go very often; their pastries are delicious, and they have a wide selection of mini pastries, making them a great place for an afternoon snack. Illy Coffee, always a guarantee of excellent coffee.

08/03/2026: A small gelateria in the heart of Borgo Trento that offers gelato made with high-quality ingredients at reasonable prices. I tried their zuppa inglese gelato, the best I've ever had in terms of flavor and texture. The atmosphere is elegant and the owner is very friendly. They also accept AMEX payments, something that's becoming increasingly common in Verona. I'll definitely be back to try their other delicacies.

05/10/2025: We had lunch here and thought the service and food was exceptional. Spaghetti Ragu was delicious and we recommend the scampi entree. Both Campari and Aperol spritz was top shelf service. And most of all, the service was very wholesome with us and friendly. We would recommend to other tourists who wish to enjoy a meal by the Adige.

05/10/2025: We stopped for an aperitivo, waited a long time to order, and after a long wait, they brought us the aperitivo we ordered, with nothing to accompany it: no chips, taralli, olives... nothing!!! This has never happened in any other place, whether downtown or on the outskirts. They even ran out of bread for a bruschetta on the menu, so we were told. When it came time to pay, which wasn't cheap... we expressed our disappointment at the poor service and received a rude response instead of an apology, even though our request was truly basic for an aperitivo. I wouldn't recommend this experience, never again.

22/12/2025: I organized a Christmas dinner for our athletes and we had a great time! Attentive staff. Perfect menu. Excellent location. Congratulations to everyone!! We felt welcomed.

18/03/2026: The shop assistants make a ruckus with their friends, ignoring you when you enter and then leaving you at your table without coming to take your order. The ruckus continues while you pay the bill, oblivious to the fact that the customer isn't interested in their private affairs. Once, we asked about the cakes in the fridge and were told to look (with the bucket and mop forgotten in front of the fridge display). Truly unfriendly and rude. Next time, to find Ditta P. products, we'll travel 20km + 20km to Bovolone, where the staff is smiling and very polite.

14/12/2025: The place is beautiful, and the staff are very helpful and cheerful. The food quality is mediocre, certainly below the price, but not among the cheapest. It's a bit outdated compared to other restaurants; there are no tablets to order with or notes to write on. The paper menu doesn't have photos like many other restaurants, and the digital menu has only cursory descriptions. The Wi-Fi isn't very good, so it loads very slowly. The dining room smells strongly from the kitchen.

06/12/2025: Besides the limited selection, poor-quality fish, a bottle of Coke that smelled of bleach, high prices, and a non-functioning bathroom. NEVER AGAIN!

29/09/2025: The food wasn't very good. The pizza was like a frozen pizza. The porcini mushrooms were just button mushrooms. The Lambrusco wasn't very good either.

12/11/2025: We ate here several times during our October holiday (2 adults, 1 dog). The service is quick and attentive. Very clean. Everyone is very friendly, and you feel welcome. I don't usually like pizza...but the pizza here is amazing. If you like thin, crispy crust and delicious toppings, this is the place for you. The Pizza Botanika was fantastic, incredibly tasty. Unfortunately, our enjoyment was somewhat dampened on the last evening, as everything in the back was set up for the next day, making it very noisy in the front. That wasn't so pleasant. At these prices, one should expect a nice atmosphere.

04/11/2025: We are regular guests at LaRocca Camping Village and have eaten at Botanika several times over the past four years. Mostly when the weather wasn't great and we preferred to stay at the campsite. So, out of necessity. Botanika describes itself as a "top-class restaurant." We can't confirm that. The menu hasn't changed much in recent years. Many dishes sound interesting, but unfortunately, they just don't taste good. Spaghetti with red shrimp – the shrimp aren't red, they're raw. Pasta with rabbit ragout – simply dry, as there was no sauce. Chicken with apple and blueberries – also completely dry. Black pasta – inedible. The pizza is okay, but nothing more. The tiramisu in a glass and the fries are very tasty. But everything is far too expensive compared to other restaurants in the area. What we find most disappointing, however, is the lack of attention to the needs of children. Spaghetti Carbonara is on the menu – but it's not available in a child's portion. The children's menu offered tortellini with ham and cream sauce – instead of tortellini with spaghetti, which wasn't possible. We've never experienced such inflexibility. The restaurant's ambiance was unpleasant – harsh lighting and plastic chairs, drafts in many corners, and it was noisy. The service was sometimes very inattentive. The price-performance ratio was unacceptable. The restaurants in Bardolino/Garda with direct lake views are significantly better and also cheaper.

07/04/2026: My rating is primarily based on value for money. It's definitely too high for the quality of the dishes. Serving the opened bottle of wine is questionable. I'm also unsure about the correspondence between the label and the wine. The homemade pasta is good, but unfortunately, that's the only positive note.
