25/08/2025: Lovely place with a warm welcome. The fresh pesto pasta and tiramisu were delicious. Simply excellent. Relaxed and homey atmosphere.

As soon as you enter, you're greeted by an authentic, warm atmosphere, filled with genuine smiles and the familiarity that only the best osterias can offer. But the true heart of the place is Mr. Giuseppe: his overwhelming charm, his contagious joy, and above all, the songs that transform dinner into a special evening. Each melody, sung with passion and irony, brings the tables together, creates camaraderie, and makes you feel part of something genuine—just like in the olden days. The food is excellent, the dishes are carefully prepared and plentiful, but what makes Osteria Torre Gardelli unique is the soul that animates it: a person capable of cheering everyone who enters, of making the place vibrate with a laugh or an improvised verse. It's impossible not to leave here happier than when you entered. A truly worthwhile place to eat well and laugh a lot. Highly recommended! 🎶💛

11/10/2025: First of all, the welcome at reception was very friendly. Dinner was tasty, but unfortunately cold and poorly presented. The restaurant was more reminiscent of a large cafeteria. The rooms were dirty and not cleaned. No storage space or power outlets. The trash cans weren't emptied. The window didn't close properly. The breakfast buffet was okay. Luckily, it was only one night. A better youth hostel, but not a resort.

04/10/2025: The rooms are clean, the shower is good, and the food is tasty and varied.

10/12/2025: It is one of the many service areas on the Turin-Venice motorway, not very large but well-stocked.

07/12/2025: Cappuchino and the kruvasan was very good. Staff and especially the lady at the cashier was reallt gentle and helpful. Thanks.

14/03/2026: My boyfriend and I arrived around 12:50 and left around 2:30 without having eaten anything. As soon as we were seated, the waiter had us scan the menu and we started ordering. We started with a few dishes, so as not to weigh ourselves down right away, but after more than half an hour, nothing had arrived, so we decided to reorder. After perhaps 40 minutes, the first dishes arrived, except for the hot ones, which must have arrived towards the end of the meal (so we waited over an hour for them and they arrived cold. I should point out that I'm talking about three fried shrimp). The waiters also repeatedly mixed up the tables, bringing us other people's dishes, which we politely sent back (so I'm starting to think that perhaps many of our dishes were delivered to other tables, leaving us without them. This is also understandable since many orders marked "delivered" weren't). Finally, we got up because after two hours we didn't feel like waiting any longer, even though we still had three hot dishes to choose from. I was surprised to find them near the cash register waiting for something I don't know (which explains why so many dishes arrived cold). It's Saturday, the restaurant is busy, so I understand the service is less efficient, but at the same time, if you know in advance that you can't handle all those tables, you don't take so many reservations. I'll conclude by saying that the table next to ours (with at least 12 people) received all its dishes; so I don't wish they'd given priority to larger tables, as they generate more profit. I would have appreciated at least an apology from the management, not just a free coffee.

18/02/2025: Overcooked pasta with very little sauce. The pasta was supposed to be with hare ragù, but there was only a little peeled tomato and traces of minced meat, which I believe was hare. It's a shame that the pasta was overcooked and flavorless. The waiter asked if I wanted it recooked, but given the situation, I don't think even cooked properly would have changed the flavor because it was so bland! My husband ordered the same dish, but instead of macaroni and linguine, and then we realized he paid €2 more. We didn't even mention it because we couldn't wait to leave and never return. It's a shame, the place is really cute, but then I realized why, on Valentine's Day, it was completely empty!

08/03/2026: We had a breakfast with an excellent cappuccino and a good macchiattone, the staff were friendly and every time we come to this shopping centre we always make a short stop in this place where they provide a coffee fix on the side which is much appreciated.

07/01/2026: On a negative note, regarding the smoothies. At 6:30 PM, they told me they'd already cleaned the machine and therefore couldn't make them. I mean, but you close at 9 PM. I made up for it with an aperitif, which was good and reasonably priced.

19/04/2026: The first ice cream shop I went into, I asked the girl serving me if I could try a specific flavor with one of the plastic spoons they have on the bar, and she said I couldn't. It seems like a fundamental issue to me that you wouldn't let someone try an ice cream flavor they don't know.

30/12/2025: THIS MALPRACTICE MUST BE STOP. I BOOKED à la carte at 7:30 PM and they asked me for a €20 deposit per person via bank transfer. WE'RE GOING CRAZY P.S. After this review, the manager called me and said it was better to lose customers like me, and in a subsequent WhatsApp message she asked me if I felt better as a person and as a man. SO MUCH ASSUMPTION

28/12/2025: Christmas lunch: beautiful location full of elegant Christmas decorations overlooking Verona, excellent menu, very friendly staff. Absolutely top notch.

11/04/2026: This place may fool you at first look. They make a fantastic spritz. If your in Verona take a little walk outta the center and enjoy a great spritz at this place. And the prices are unbeatable.

22/11/2025: The first time I ordered a pizza with mascarpone and prosciutto, I got a Margherita with three slices of prosciutto, and I paid 9.50. The second time I asked for a larger one at this point. It was a mascarpone and prosciutto like you see everywhere, but the large amount was only on the 12.50 bill. I'd say a little too much.

03/11/2025: I've been there several times, both by the slice and by the round, and I've always been satisfied. The round pizza is light and not burnt, while the pizza by the slice is soft and tasty. The cashier was kind, friendly, and professional. If you want good pizza, I recommend it! :)

05/04/2026: I was at Klesh Pub last night, waiting two hours for dinner. (It was initially quite crowded.) We booked, arrived at 8:30 PM, and had dinner at 10:30 PM. During the wait, we asked for a bottle of water, but it never arrived during those two hours. The sandwich wasn't bad, average, but the service was quite poor. Finally, they don't do separate checks at the register, and you have to leave a sort of "tip" (obviously not very well deserved). It's a shame because the place is a nice pub.

05/04/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant! Aside from waiting almost an hour for our food (3 burgers…), they forgot the side dishes and the burgers were really bad. You could tell the meat wasn't good quality and the burgers were quite small (never 250g as advertised). The service was mediocre; we ordered drinks during the meal that never arrived. I can't really say much about the side dishes, as mine never came… the only thing I can say is that the waiter offered us baked potatoes instead of fries (1 euro as a side), which we then ordered. But when we looked at the bill, it was 5 euros per side dish, which I think is a complete rip-off… The restaurant itself, however, was nicely decorated.

13/10/2025: By far the worst steak I've ever eaten. No flavor at all, just a piece of meat grilled without seasoning and served on a plate with a lemon and some lamb's lettuce, for 20 euros!! The grilled vegetables for 5 euros were also completely tasteless. This wasn't a real chef who served this, but a worthless amateur 😡 I didn't want to ruin the evening for my companion, otherwise I would have returned it and left!!!
