Sit under umbrellas on the side of the road, sheltered from the sun. Watch the street life and relax with a coffee. The selection is large, the prices are reasonable. Eat a hamburger in Verona near the Arena at Aperol Spritz.

We went late night. Seemed like a locals hang out. Good rock and roll music inside. View of the colosseum outside. Self service seemed the best way to get a drink or food. Delicious affordable snacks.

A quaint, cozy snack bar for a quick bite or a big thirst, within sight of the arena. A bit lively, but definitely worth a visit. You'll have to be patient, but the prices are reasonable and the hamburgers taste good.
