27/07/2024: Spacious environment with many shops nearby. Courteous staff, all in all little waiting. We went for breakfast, unfortunately the vaunted croissants did not impress either me or my partner. Prices are really too high, especially a soya latte at 3.10 euros

14/06/2024: Capitati quasi per caso in questo ristorantino con un bello spazio all’aperto nella zona dell’ospedale Borgo Roma a Verona. Siamo rimasti sorpresi dalla qualita’ del cibo (gli gnocchi di patate e il baccalà con la polenta erano molto buoni), dal servizio (anche se siamo arrivati quasi a chiusura) e dalla simpatia e gentilezza del titolare. 14/06/2024: Non sono di Verona ma ci vengo spesso per lavoro e quando mi fermo a pranzo e posso scegliere il ristorante la Capannina è la mia prima scelta. Michele è il suo Staff sono sempre disponibili e capaci di soddisfare ogni richiesta la dove è possibile. Cibo sempre eccellente; antipasti, primi e secondi di qualità. Ottimo il pesce ma anche tutto il resto. Complimenti. Roberto Bolzano

06/04/2024: Local at the entrance to the ring road near Vallese di Verona. Ideal for breakfasts, short breaks, snacks and aperitifs. The food offered is of good quality, pleasantly prepared. Various beers and wines available, both on tap and in bottles. Classic aperitifs. The service is quite fast, the staff is friendly and prepared. The environment is large, divided into several rooms with large sizes to provide bar service only. It is a place with potential, perhaps penalized by the traffic on the nearby ring road. Even if this is precisely what provides part of the clientele of this business. Outdoor tables on the porch. Ample parking.

15/05/2024: Cenato con i miei vicini di casa (abituè del posto) in questo ristorante gardesano: ambiente informale, gestori molto cortesi e professionali, cibo ottimo. Oltre alla sangria, bevanda top, abbiamo gustato un’ottima paella di pesce e frutti di mare (cozze, gamberetti, gamberoni): l’abbondanza della stessa ci ha impedito di assaggiare i dolci ed abbiamo chiuso la serata con un buon caffè! Consigliato

26/08/2024: Evidently there isn't always the same pizza chef, I read and see photographs of splendid pizzas, and then, every now and then someone who has had the same sad fate as me... raw pizza and decidedly different from the photographs, (last night not only mine but even the ones I saw pass by, in terms of shape, colour, almost non-existent cornice... then maybe they were cooked more, I don't know?). Slow service and oh well, it's Sunday and you can wait, after all, the waiters were all kind and made us sit down by bringing breadsticks and drinks so you can definitely wait a few minutes (about 25). the first pizza arrives (of two)... the second after a couple of minutes.. to know why it arrives anyway. I have already said that they were not too inviting to look at but it is not the dress that makes the monk, when cutting it is difficult to make the slice and when I try to detach it the bottom "peels" from the top... I reverse a flap and see that alas the reason is that it's cooked on top, but not on the bottom so it's like a "royal" pizza (I've read that others have also found it that way). I point out to the owner (I think) that the pizza isn't cooked well and so it's indigestible for me, she takes it away... but it's clear she thinks I'm a pain in the ass... she comes back later and tells me that: " the pizza chef says that it is not raw at all and that their pizza has never been found indigestible by anyone and perhaps I am the one who cannot digest it"... well let's just let it go he would have made a better impression by keeping his opinion and asking me what I preferred instead, as he then did by bringing me an excellent platter of cold cuts and cheeses (which I recommend). Eventually they were corrected and deducted the "pizza" from the bill. The place is very nice and particular, the staff is friendly, but we certainly won't go back to eat that pizza. If anything, cured meats. to anyone wondering how the other pizza was, I say.. just a little more cooked.. it was eaten.. but not appreciated.

23/07/2024: Luci ( bravi e gentilissimi i ragazzi che servono e buona la pasta della pizza ) ed ombre ( poco farcite le pizze e prezzo alto , in aggiunta 4€/pizza per l’impasto “ speciale” ). Finirà sta moda delle pizze gourmet…

24/05/2024: Partito con le peggiori premesse (per telefono ci avevano detto che alle 21 dovevamo liberare il tavolo e che non facevamo conti separati, due cose che ritengo fastidiose….) invece già dall’accoglienza cortese e premurosa, mi sono dovuto ricredere. Servizio gentilissimo e professionale, le pizze sono buone, si può scegliere tra quattro impasti: normale (nella norma), speciale (molto soffice, ma costa 4€ in più), senza glutine (molto buono), pinza senza glutine (più alto e più soffice). I condimenti sono buoni, io ho provato anche la mozzarella vegana che ha un buon sapore e una consistenza cremosa. La birra alla spina senza glutine è molto buona, pastosa e con una schiuma persistente, però la temperatura di servizio potrebbe migliorare (andava portata un po’ più fresca). Conto buono (meno di 20€ per pizza e bibita con qualche caffè) e anche al momento di congedarci perché erano arrivate le 21, sono stati cortesi. Ottima esperienza, torneremo sicuramente.

24/05/2024: Food Is bland and terrible. We asked for 4 different plates. But for the devilled chicken all the others looked the same mix of rise and vegetables. I ordered a cheese kottu and what came out of the kitchen was a blob of parmesan and veggies. Same for the "noodles" and the rice. Prawn are minced inside the rise with the shell!!! People are nice but they can't tell what will be in your plate and they do not listen when you tell them you like your food SPICY. The place is average.

17/08/2024: Ordered a Fanta, pale yellow water arrived. I understand watering down drinks, but here it goes too far, it's offensive.

12/02/2024: Worst kebab I've ever eaten in my life, dirty place and staff who don't speak Italian, looking at the preparation I notice that it uses half freshly cut meat and half taken from a tray of different consistency and temperature, I highly recommend not going if you don't want to risk risking give rise to a new global epidemic

10/06/2024: Che dire, la pizzeria nr.1 a Verona, la pasta e’ incantevole e gli ingredienti sempre freschissimi, un menu sintetico ma ben modulato, locale easy, ma non lo guardi tanto perché pensi a gustarti la tua pizza e a godere di ogni morso! Personale attento e veloce, unico neo, ma ci si abitua, chiudono presto….e quando arriva l’ora non puoi far altro che muoverti a finirla!

08/05/2024: The restaurant is open at midday and offers an excellent lunch with good value for money. I have also enjoyed the pizza on several occasions and highly recommend it. The environment is a little dated but the courtesy of the staff makes it pleasant.

28/08/2024: Rude and insolent waiter, closes the umbrella over the customers' heads until they are sitting at the table, all the dirt from the umbrella falls on the table, on the drinks and on the food ordered. He even has the courage to argue and tries to be right, imitating another waitress to clean our table. We don't behave like that, it's not very professional.

05/07/2024: Excellent quality of food, very fresh fish. I read other reviews that initially made me hesitate to try it, then on the advice of a friend we decided. There is no comparison, impossible to go back to eating sushi in an all you can eat (without taking anything away) very good guys, very kind, fast service. Well done!!
