13/05/2025: In piena zona industriale e quindi affollato di camionisti e lavoratori della zona. Pranzo veloce su menu scritto alla lavagna. Tavoli in legno, sedie in metallo tovagliette individuali e tovaglioli di carta. Cucina sufficientemente buona, prezzi contenutissimi.

12/08/2025: Terrible overall, we waited an hour for a dish that I didn't eat in the end because it was full of grated cheese that wasn't specified among the ingredients.

25/07/2025: Since the change of management, from a pizzeria to a Brazilian restaurant, everything has changed from bad to worse. This evening we were practically robbed. We could have gone and eaten fish without any worries.

02/12/2025: Bad experience. This is a lovely looking resto along the riverside. I ordered a glass of white wine and a Caprese salad from a male server. 1) in comes a glass of red. When I say I have not ordered red wine but white, the woman doesn't seem to believe me. I have to insist on the fact that I ordered white wine before she finally takes away the glass looking really upset and angry. No sorry for the mistake. 2) the tomatoes as well as the mozzarella was served ice cold, which of course meant no flavour. And no Basil. Tomatoes were cut in wedges instead of round slices and some dried herbs were on top. Underneath the big round mozzarella were some old pieces of lettuce. Never seen such ugly presentation. Not only the nontasty food but also the unpleasant service during the whole lunch makes me never want to go here again or recommend anyone to do so. *"*"*"*"*" This also is a restaurant that can't deal with bad critics. Instead they attack me. How ridiculous. Im a sommelier, so sorry, but I do know my wines. And I also recognize rude behaviors, both in reality and in writing. But you are completely right in one thing, I need to find another restaurant, but with more class.

29/11/2025: Terrible experience! Lured by the good reviews of this place, we went in to eat typical Veronese dishes. We ordered the mixed boiled meat: terrible!! They probably don't know how to cook boiled meat!! The meat was served still raw, you could taste the granulated cotechino, and the thinly sliced ​​beef was dry and flavorless. The only redeeming feature was the good glass of wine. They served dried fruit with our coffee... perhaps they confused it with the aperitif service. I don't recommend it. Also, as in almost all restaurants, the chefs are no longer Italian, and I'm not racist, but it's a matter of food preparation culture that differentiates us. The place could also use a bit of a refresh, but that's subjective. I'll conclude with the final price: outrageous!

15/12/2025: We visited Café Scala on Saturday afternoon. This review focuses exclusively on the service and staff behavior, not the quality of the products. The soy milk cappuccino and vegan carrot cake were objectively good. However, the entire experience was marred by an episode of gross rudeness and lack of professionalism on the part of one of the waiters. We had clearly specified that the order was vegan, but the cake arrived topped with non-vegan cream. When we pointed out the error, the waiter in question reacted with shocking arrogance and total disrespect. Instead of apologizing and politely correcting the situation, he indulged in bullying behavior, even making explicit and inappropriate gestures (such as tapping his foot and sticking out his tongue), treating customers like old friends to be ridiculed, not like patrons in a public establishment. We requested to see the cream label to verify its composition, but this request was denied. Such a level of arrogance and rudeness is unacceptable in any restaurant setting, especially in a tourist city like Verona. Despite the quality of the food, the human experience was so negative that we strongly advise against this establishment. We will not return, and we hope the management takes action to ensure a respectful and polite standard of service.

26/11/2025: McDonald's affi Hi, it's not my style to write reviews because it's awful to receive them, especially if they're negative. I went to the cashier to pay and found one of the managers—tall with long hair—very rude, unfriendly, and pissed off doing her job. Given her role, I don't think it's fair how she treats customers. If I were you owners, I'd put her in charge of waiting tables so she can take the edge off her arrogance. She even acts superior to the guys who work there. She's really rude. Change her role!!!

25/11/2025: I went to this McDonald's to get a €12.50 menu (I would have paid €10.50 in cash and the rest with a card). I went to pay at the register and they told me I couldn't pay €2 with a credit card because they made the rules (they told me this after I pointed out that they couldn't refuse electronic payments). The fact is, 15 minutes passed for this payment, and meanwhile the line at the register was growing, the register was jammed, and they didn't even know how to settle the bill. Incompetent and rude staff. And on top of all that, the kitchen was dirty and disorganized. Never again.

29/10/2025: I had a carbonara pizza, but I have to say I was disappointed by the poor quality of the ham (it was the square kind you can easily find in supermarkets). I was expecting at least bacon, so I left it off the pizza. Other than that, the dough and pizza were nothing special. Don't lie, aunt.

27/10/2025: Excellent...tonight we had dinner for six...two pumpkin risottos with cream cheese and crushed amaretti biscuits...three pizzas and grilled octopus...all delicious. Very friendly staff and a lovely, clean, and welcoming place. I recommend it.

23/11/2025: I didn't have a good memory, so I returned today after a couple of years just for some pastries. Disappointing, despite my low expectations.

We expected a long wait, considering the number of sandwiches we'd ordered (including the menus, there must have been at least 25), but to our surprise, they called us to pick up our order in about 10-15 minutes. Quick, tidy, professional, and friendly, highly recommended!

12/12/2025: We had dinner with some work colleagues. The staff were kind and friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, the food was really good, though the prices, in my opinion, were perhaps a little higher than average. We were completely satisfied, although we paid a lot, but it also filled our stomachs. We ordered the boiled meat and roast meat trolleys, and for our first course, tagliatelle in bianco with a knob of butter and three sauces served separately. Chicken liver, ragù, and tomato. Congratulations
