Excellent products and everything delicious. This is our second time here in recent years. We highly recommend it if you're in Verona!

The restaurant is small, located in the suburbs, but it's always crowded.

We decided to try this restaurant primarily for the boiled meat and roast meat cart.
The welcome and service were excellent, and the food was good.
The only downside was the price, which was a little high for what we ate, but we still left satisfied.

Ciccarelli Restaurant is an unmissable destination for those who wish to immerse themselves in the true gastronomic tradition of Verona.
Unlike many restaurants that frequently renew their menus, this practice is absent at Ciccarelli: for over fifty years, the philosophy of continuity has been followed. This choice is not born from a lack of creativity, but from a profound respect for the history, cuisine, and identity of the restaurant.
Over time, a few dishes have been added, but always with discretion and sensitivity, without altering the balance that keeps guests coming back for authentic flavors.
The pasta is still handmade, with simple but carefully selected ingredients, essential to the success of each dish. The carefully selected meats are cooked slowly from early in the morning, so they arrive tender and rich in flavor.
Roast and boiled meats are always accompanied by the ever-present pearà and jars of salsa verde and horseradish.
Even the desserts are strictly homemade and bring back childhood memories, providing a moment of sweet nostalgia and that genuine smile we often forget.

A pleasant atmosphere thanks to the historic dining room, which we appreciated, but a disappointment was the impersonal and inattentive service and the food didn't live up to this establishment's reputation. Butter tortellini were flavorless and served with a watery sauce (we left them over); chicken in saor was a tiny portion and not particularly flavorful (not sufficiently marinated); boiled meats and roasts were served lukewarm, on an unsuitable trolley, and consequently cold almost immediately (we left them over, but no one bothered to ask us why!). The trolley, not equipped with the usual containers to keep the pieces warm, makes professional service impossible. We didn't eat the pear, both in terms of flavor and texture. The price was reasonable, but it's a shame we ate so little. Bottom line: disappointment.

Disappointment with the boiled meat and the inedible side dishes given the excessive price.

Typical Veronese cuisine. A place frozen in time, with an old-world charm: beautiful precisely because, from what we've always been told, it's a true must-visit and an institution of Veronese cuisine.
The prices are higher than average.
For four of us (two adults and two children, aged one and three), we ordered:
• an appetizer;
• a first course (two half portions for the children)
• a roast platter;
• a boiled meat platter;
• two glasses of wine (€5 each, Valpolicella Ripasso)
• two desserts (€6 each)
• a bottle of water
• two mixed side dishes
Total: €139.
The service, at least in our experience, didn't live up to the bill. In particular, the boiled meat platter arrived lukewarm, verging on cold, which for a dish of this type significantly affects the overall experience.
