20/06/2025: Shit place, thieves, two beers without a receipt and 10 euro glasses, thieves!

17/06/2025: The change of management has been detrimental. Reading the old reviews it seems it was a great place, today instead it is to be avoided. Dated place, but we can also look beyond if the rest was worth it; instead no. The quality of the food is absolutely not worth the price paid and we were also badly scammed. Group of almost 20 people, we left little by little each paying their part of the bill, perhaps they did not think we would hear from each other again. Too bad that instead we discovered that everyone was given random prices, definitely inflated compared to the menu, yes we were wrong to trust the dishes said verbally. They were charged for things more than what was actually consumed, even the covers were charged differently between the various diners. And the receipt? Obviously it had to be requested because never mind! Bread and breadsticks possible, some glasses arrived dirty at the table. In the bathroom there was totally no soap and toilet paper.

28/05/2025: I only ate something in the restaurant. The staff was friendly, but the food was a joke! Completely overpriced and carelessly slapped onto a plate. For those prices, you expect a great dinner, beautifully garnished and served, BUT, unfortunately, you get a complete disappointment. A shame. I won't be back.

12/05/2025: Plenty of space outside, inside and in inner garden. Very pleasant service... but you may need to be bit patient (I think it is just a cultural difference). Honestly main dishes were quite average in taste and different in size - lazania bit too small but pasta big enough (see photos). The desserts and coffee were very good.

06/05/2025: It wasn't much of an experience. Perhaps the worst was seeing the coffee from the machines at breakfast...

22/01/2025: After paying €125 a night for a triple I have to review. I paid to stay in the cold, super hard mattress, super dirty bedside table drawers, no comment breakfast (packaged croissants and coffee etc etc from the machine you find in the hospital) but the most shocking thing is not finding a bottle of water in the room. There is also a PAYMENT drinks machine but IT DOESN'T WORK. It wasn't a holiday trip but unfortunately a health trip so we couldn't go out or buy water somewhere else also because alone in a city you don't know you lock yourself in your room and that's it. Very disappointed, I will never return. I advise against it with all my heart! A night without water to drink.....shame. P.s. the next day also without light from 8.30! The only positive note that made me book this place was the proximity to the Negrar hospital. 2 minutes walk and you are there.

The pizza is also a pleasant surprise: thin, crunchy and with fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and the service is quick, even at busy times. Fair prices and good variety on the menu, with options to suit all tastes. The only reason why I don't give 5 stars is that there is still a small margin for improvement, perhaps in the presentation or in the management of orders during peak hours. Overall, an excellent choice for those looking for tasty food without too many pretensions. Advised!

30/05/2025: Excellent bakery with helpful staff and excellent quality, I recommend the focaccia with parmesan and cherry tomatoes!!

03/05/2025: Informal hotel, modern and clean rooms, outdoor swimming pool. Satisfactory breakfast and convenient location five minutes walk from everything.

02/05/2025: The manager of the hotel is unfriendly and not interested in customer-oriented solutions. When booking via an online portal, we apparently made a mistake with the “Pets allowed” filter. When we arrived we were not allowed to check in with our dog for the one night we had booked. We had already paid in advance via Paypal. We then asked for a refund of the amount. The lady then simply replied that it wouldn't be her problem if we weren't able to read the regulations correctly. She was not at all interested in offering any solution or helping us with the unfortunate situation. We then had to look for and pay for additional accommodation at short notice. She kept the money. If we go on holiday in Bardolino without a dog in the future, then definitely not in this hotel!

30/01/2025: Happened by chance, after a morning at the Borgo Roma hospital, which is a few minutes walk away, I must say that there is a good variety of bread and desserts. In particular the apple fritters and the fisherman's biscuits are very, very good! Good bread. Polite and friendly welcome. Environment 'like once upon a time' which I really like.

11/10/2024: Small family bakery where you can find everything you need from cured meats to some excellent gastronomy products, as well as different types of good bread.

09/05/2025: I stopped by to use the bathroom, which is available for tourists at a cost of 1 euro per person. The bathroom was in good condition.

18/04/2025: The Coffee was okay but way too expensive and the sweets were really old. I felt like I Bote a stone and not a pastry. Definitely not recommend coming there!! We paid double the normal price for less than half the normal quality.

27/04/2025: As soon as we were seated I had a bad feeling and I was right. It took a while for menus to be delivered to the table and when the waiter finally came over again, we tried to ask a question about the menu but he spoke over us and told us he was there to take out drinks order. When we did order the waiter was looking elsewhere and totally distracted, so it shouldn’t have a surprise that the order was incorrect on arrival. The carbonara was vile, tasted of nothing but egg and the pasta was undercooked (not Al dente, undercooked). By the time Parmesan was offered we’d given up trying to eat it. The pizza that was ordered was ok (compared to the carbonara) but we’re sure the mushrooms were tinned. When we paid, they initially gave us a bill for over -€330 (for three people - one drink and a main each) and it took a further three or four attempts to get it close to right.
