29/07/2025: On a fantastic day, I went up from Cervinia to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Taking three lifts on the Italian side and then the new cabin built on the Swiss side, you reach an altitude of 3,880 m. The adult fare is €125 round trip, but it's worth it. In good weather, you get a view of all the famous peaks. Kudos to Swiss engineering!

10/08/2025: The place is simple, the staff very friendly and attentive, and the food is quality. I think we paid too much for what we ate, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

06/08/2025: Excellent welcome and they speak French! Extraordinary generous dishes. We had the beef fillet with local blue cheese and the meat was super tender with a sauce to die for. Really don't hesitate to come and book because at 8 p.m. it was full. Fast service with a smile and really highly recommended. We'll be back as soon as we're back in the area.

10/08/2025: Really lovely experience. The staff offered some of the best hospitality we experienced during our trip to the region. Hotel is nestled into Morgex. Rooms are comfortable. Food from the restaurant was delicious, seasonal and thoughtful. The wine was also excellent. The staff went out of their way to insure great service. Highly recommend!

07/08/2025: Per prenotare è come un viaggio spaziale e una fideiussione come se si comprasse una casa , assurdo. Devi dire quanti siete e poi mettere la carta con oblazione di 50 euro per ogni previsto commensale . Poi non prende la Amex e fa storie con Credem Banco Bpm e intesa . Demoralizzati

26/08/2025: Excellent food. Trout recommended.

26/08/2025: We had the smoked trout, which was truly excellent, and two pierrades. The meat and all the sides were good. It was worth it.

16/08/2025: Hotel with a good restaurant. My double room, divided from a double bed and a smaller room with two single beds, was spacious and very clean, although the room with two single beds was a bit neglected in the cleaning. We stayed there for 5 nights and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The restaurant has a chef who knows his stuff and a fairly excellent wine cellar. I have to mention one flaw, though, because in my opinion, a hotelier should have a minimum of a friendly look or a small smile, which wouldn't hurt, along with a bit of harmony when dealing with Italian guests who leave you 2k euros for 5 days. A little consideration is needed.

09/08/2025: We were looking for a place to stop before climbing up to Valtournenche and found this osteria. And we were in luck: the staff is courteous and friendly, the food is good, and the prices are super competitive. We recommend the first and second course deal for €12 because it's so good value compared to the individual dishes (which, again, are cheap). The food is authentic and tasty. You couldn't ask for more. I recommend booking because the restaurant isn't very big and the clientele is large.

13/07/2025: A fantastic surprise. Delicious and plentiful food. Super friendly and helpful staff. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by. The prices are very fair considering the quantity and, above all, the quality of the food. The cotechino is superb.

15/08/2025: Excellent! The food was good (to say the least). The portions were more than generous. The atmosphere was wonderful (see photo). The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. We had various appetizers, cured meats and cheeses, risottos (the chef's was recommended), and venison fillet. Every dish was excellent, plentiful, and beautifully presented. The children's menu was very varied (my daughter had pasta with venison ragù). In short, if you're passing through or staying in Cogne, you have to try it. 5 well-deserved stars.

The atmosphere is meticulously maintained, and the staff strives to make guests feel truly pampered. Kindness, courtesy, and expertise are evident throughout. Highly recommended!!! 22/08/2025: Excellent food, traditionally cooked, in a relaxed atmosphere. We went to Angela's for an aperitif: the sangria was excellent, and, tasting after tasting, we ended up eating more than we would have eaten at a wedding. Highly recommended.

12/07/2025: Sono un’assidua frequentatrice dello Chalet ma ogni volta non manca mai di stupirmi. Riapertura a inizio luglio con sorprese sorprendenti: fra gli antipasti i lollipop di pesce sono tutti da scoprire e come primo l’oro di Sardegna, un gioiello da assaggiare assolutamente!! Servizio, personale, Paola e Nicola sempre impeccabili, atmosfera eccezionale, un grande inizio di stagione!!

29/07/2025: We booked on the recommendation of our hotel—a perfect choice! The waiters were knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive, both in service and customer service. We had a great time. The food was very good and freshly prepared. The first courses and the fondue with polenta were delicious. Average prices.
