It's a delight; you'd think you were on the Adriatic coast.
The restaurant is popular with many people from Aosta.
The prices are very reasonable.
07/03/2026: The food here is very good, especially the fish, which is delivered fresh. I recommend the fish; the peppered mussels are delicious, but a bit spicy.
The meat was also good; I also ordered the grilled meat, which is generally recommended, and the house wine was also good.

06/04/2026: We ate very well today! There were six of us; my husband and I had the platter of homemade cured meats and cheeses, followed by a plate of maltagliati with nettle cream and melted bleu d'Aost cheese (I think that's how it's spelled, I don't remember exactly), and a plate of tagliatelle with venison ragù (unfortunately, I don't have a photo). I assure you, everything was delicious. Then we had the venison fillet with chocolate sauce and red berries on top. Unfortunately, you can see in the photo that I had already cut it into pieces; it was delicious! The village is a medieval one, and the historic center is not accessible by car. Very quaint!
03/04/2026: This restaurant is located in a renovated house dating back to 1695, preserving the original features. Excellent, quality food. We celebrated our birthday with a fantastic cake!

19/04/2026: We opted to be amazed by the Lascia fare a Filippo e Tommaso menu, and we were very satisfied with our choice. Each dish, from the welcome amuse bouche, was a balance of flavors, textures, and contrasts that made for a very interesting and enjoyable experience.
A small note on the service, which was at times awkward and slow, certainly not up to par with the quality of the cuisine.
06/04/2026: A superb experience, a very fine balance of flavors in the dishes; each dish was exquisite and meticulously prepared. The sommelier was outstanding, offering excellent advice and a selection of superb wines, including some rare ones.

04/05/2026: Nice atmosphere. We ate outside in the slightly dated gazebo. It wasn't hot yet, so it was nice. Very good, local food. Service was a bit slow. Excellent value.
01/05/2026: Found this place on Google for a weekend lunch stop in Pont Saint Martin. A family-friendly atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, excellent service, and delicious food! Reservations recommended.

05/04/2026: Kindness, professionalism, and truly exquisite dishes: delicious lamb, delicious appetizer, and a chocolate meringue finish. Anyone who visits Val Ferret must eat here at least once.
30/03/2026: An intimate restaurant with meticulous attention to detail in a truly remarkable location. I would have liked to try more dishes, but the prices (though still reasonable for the location) didn't allow for it. The lard in the antipasto con moccetta was remarkable; it truly melted in the mouth. The pappardelle with wild boar ragù was very good, but would have looked better on a ceramic plate than in a pan, where it seemed sparse in quantity. The house mint-based digestif was excellent. There was nothing to complain about the quality of the service or the kindness of the waiters, absolutely worthy of the place.

30/04/2026: We bought tickets for Plateau Rosa and took the various gondolas up to 3,400 meters. The view was breathtaking and highly recommended. It was really cold at the top, so we went back down one station, ate there, and enjoyed the sun in deck chairs wearing t-shirts. It was fantastic! The ticket costs €58 per person. Bring plenty of time and sunglasses, and simply enjoy the peace and quiet!
28/04/2026: Amazing ski resort. Great lift system.
We experienced a cold spell with high winds & cool temperatures in early April. Can be icy piste conditions in the mornings & slushy in the afternoons.
At higher elevations the snow was wonderful!
The link with Zermatt is exceptional as is the Swiss lift system.
The Italians an side is reasonably priced & a wonderful resort in it's own right when coupled with Valtourneche!

07/03/2026: A must when you come to Champoluc!! The food, fresh and local, the service and the friendly atmosphere make it a fantastic restaurant. Try the foie gras, the steak with spec, the lard, the trout tartar, everything is delicious!!

13/04/2026: Excellent dinner at Cadrane Solaire: a warm, welcoming atmosphere, professional yet fun service that adds a touch of lightness, and excellent food.
We had Borretane onions with blue cheese ice cream, risotto with pea cream, a Valdostana (definitely worth sharing between at least two people), and delicious Auberge ice cream and a Montenapoleone meringue with Mont Blanc.
Absolutely worth a try!
12/04/2026: Lunch in Courmayeur at Cadran Solaire.
Hearty and well-balanced dishes: the "La Favo'" with short pasta, fava beans, sausage, crostini, and fondue was excellent, as was the restaurant's own fondue, both good quality and well-executed.
The atmosphere was traditional and romantic, in keeping with the mountain setting.

30/04/2026: Beautifully situated restaurant with a remarkable story. The owners are seventh-generation descendants of the first Italian to climb Monta Cervinio. And you can visit a cave next to the restaurant for €2.50, which he discovered. A fascinating history.
18/04/2026: Excellent espresso with a subtle natural sweetness served by a gracious, friendly hostess in a beautiful setting. We were pleasantly surprised to find great option for refreshment open in the 3rd week of April :)

21/12/2025: Stayed as a group for a retreat. Stunning location with a view, especially from the glass-enclosed dining room. Large and comfortable rooms. The food was truly delicious. The desserts and cream show was unforgettable. The service was professional yet very friendly. An experience definitely worth repeating!
09/12/2025: I spent a night at this Alpine relais and rest stop, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail, expertly managed with passion. The property is beautifully nestled in the mountain village, tastefully renovated with fine architectural features. There's a relaxation area with a sauna and Turkish bath. The dinner was excellent and varied, featuring traditional dishes. Thank you for the early breakfast on the holiday Monday.
