I migliori ristoranti in Valle d'aosta

23/08/2025: Before saying anything else, keep this in mind: the dishes are good! The food is good, everything is good! But, there's a but. Unfortunately, we can't share the enthusiasm of many other reviews we've read. We spent just under €80 for two starters, two desserts (one of which was a fruit salad), and a single portion of fried porcini mushrooms. The dishes are good but overall average. I ordered a fruit salad because I was craving fruit, my girlfriend ordered a chocolate basket with pistachio mousse inside: the mousse was pistachio ice cream, and the plate was surrounded by various fruits... if I'd known that, I wouldn't have ordered a fruit salad. I recommend writing it on the menu because it might change someone's mind. Overall, a nice place, the ingredients are certainly high-quality, but the dishes are definitely not worth the price. Unfortunately, a bit overrated (but still good!)

17/07/2025: ハイキング旅行で当地を訪れた際に、夕食に伺うました。滞在していたホテルから徒歩5分ぐらいでした。 事前に予約して行ったので、無事入れましたが、夫婦でやっている７テーブルの小さなレストランなので、飛び込みだと満席のこともあるようです。 郷土料理が食べたかったので、その旨を奥さんに伝えたら、英語で丁寧に説明してくれました。頼んだ料理は写真のものですが、料理も手作りパンもホームメイドのデザートもとても美味しく満足でした。接客も丁寧で気持ちよく過ごすことができました。機会があれば再訪したいレストランです。

14/07/2025: Ho fatto una escursione al bivacco Gastaldi. Da principiante sconsiderato quale sono sono andato su senza zaino né borraccia....al ritorno erano le 15,30 .ca ed ero gravemente disidradato e affamato. Questo locale era ancora aperto nonostante le indicazioni all' esterno spiegassero che nel pomeriggio se non ricordo male alle 14,30 o alle 15,00 avessero una pausa. Ho chiesto una birra e la signora al banco mi ha fatto subito presente con fermezza che erano in chiusura. Dopo qualche insistenza la signora in maniera davvero gentile mi ha servito una birra alla spina da 50cl terminata a tempo record. Che dire....era un caso di emergenza e anche se la signora forse non se ne è resa conto la gentilezza ha prevalso. Tornerei volentieri.

26/07/2025: Exceptional trattoria. We ate here twice during our stay in Pollein...every dish was exquisite, from the Valdostana pizza to the desserts. The owner was very kind and made us feel right at home.

07/08/2025: A memorable evening in a typical Aosta Valley restaurant. A very welcoming atmosphere (you can also eat outside), but I recommend eating inside. I had an excellent Fassona steak and we both enjoyed a delicious raclette. We savored it to the last drop. We'd definitely return to try other dishes from the extensive menu. Everything was impeccably managed with the utmost courtesy by the owner and one of his staff. Reservations are recommended; the restaurant seems to be very popular in the area. Prices are a bit above the local average, but well worth it. Thank you for the wonderful evening you gave us.

29/07/2025: Fantastic dinner with friends. The maître d' was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about everything. The staff were very friendly and approachable, despite the picturesque location. We paid very little for the delicious food we ate, including complimentary coffee and a digestive. We'll be back.

16/08/2025: We had lunch in this delightful, enchanting place, under the wonderfully melodious trees. The service was excellent, elegant, and courteous. The food was delicious. The price was right. We'll be back as soon as possible.

15/08/2025: We were given a wonderful room at very short notice. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a German-speaking lady, and during our conversation, we immediately decided to enjoy dinner there. The garden and the entire hotel, including the restaurant, are beautiful and very special. Small but perfectly formed! Dinner and breakfast were first-class. Not just a meal, but with small, fine details everywhere. We're planning another trip to the Aosta Valley and will definitely stay there again.

04/08/2025: We had lunch here on both days of our stay in the Valley, trying different dishes and always being satisfied with the quality of the food, the service, and, lastly, the excellent value for money.

02/08/2025: Truly excellent. Generous portions with exceptional value. Final bill: 5 covers, with 3 appetizers, 4 generous first courses, 4 desserts, wine, 3 waters, and grappa, 20 euros per person! Unbeatable! Perhaps the effectiveness of the outside service should be underestimated. The young staff is excellent, but one person isn't enough to overcome the inexperience and some people who are just running around aimlessly.

11/08/2025: Having eaten there over the past few summers, the food was good, but the staff was decidedly incapable of making customers feel welcome... or wanted. Returning with friends this year, we hit rock bottom in rudeness, to the point that we got up and left before even ordering. Where possible, look for alternatives.

08/08/2025: Excellent pub near the center of Aosta. A good selection of food and beers. Parking is a short walk away but well signposted.

17/08/2025: Fantastic experience! We were staying at the campsite just up the road, and after days of mediocre meals, we decided to treat ourselves to a proper dinner.... How lucky we were to have you so close! The place is a gem, a very intimate and welcoming atmosphere, soft lighting, and just a few tables. Andrea, the owner, immediately proved to be a character, obviously an idol. The wine list is physical, meaning the bottles are on a cabinet, and Andrea helps you choose based on the dishes you ordered. The dishes we tried were all delicious, beautiful to look at and excellent on the palate. Thanks Andrea also for letting us try the absinthe; it was an experience that made us end the dinner with a bang. ❤️

16/08/2025: Rude manager. We arrived on a Saturday, August 15th, the place was empty, only one table occupied. At 1:10 PM... "there are two of us..." he replied that everything was full (perhaps in the evening) and tried to give us his business card for a possible reservation. Instead of answering us, I'm sorry, the kitchen is closing soon, but if you want, I'll prepare you something cold. Maybe they don't serve them. Managers like this deserve to fail. His mother understood that.

24/07/2025: One of the best in Pila. Great food and fast, warm service. Sunny terrace. Went twice on a short trip. Not too crowded due to location but reservations recommended especially to the upper floor. Clean modern premises.

30/06/2025: The location is wonderful, both in winter and summer. Correct service. Good dishes. Really nice decor. Be careful that upstairs the cover charge is 7 EUR per person...
