30/04/2026: We bought tickets for Plateau Rosa and took the various gondolas up to 3,400 meters. The view was breathtaking and highly recommended. It was really cold at the top, so we went back down one station, ate there, and enjoyed the sun in deck chairs wearing t-shirts. It was fantastic! The ticket costs €58 per person. Bring plenty of time and sunglasses, and simply enjoy the peace and quiet!

28/04/2026: Amazing ski resort. Great lift system. We experienced a cold spell with high winds & cool temperatures in early April. Can be icy piste conditions in the mornings & slushy in the afternoons. At higher elevations the snow was wonderful! The link with Zermatt is exceptional as is the Swiss lift system. The Italians an side is reasonably priced & a wonderful resort in it's own right when coupled with Valtourneche!

21/05/2026: We had lunch here after a beautiful hike, sitting at the outdoor tables. Each dish was better than the last! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful: without us asking, they split the cheese fondue (which was a single dish) into four individual portions just because we wanted to try it all. All this was accompanied by a stunning view. It was truly a wonderful discovery, we'll definitely be back! A well-deserved 5 stars.

13/04/2026: Excellent dinner at Cadrane Solaire: a warm, welcoming atmosphere, professional yet fun service that adds a touch of lightness, and excellent food. We had Borretane onions with blue cheese ice cream, risotto with pea cream, a Valdostana (definitely worth sharing between at least two people), and delicious Auberge ice cream and a Montenapoleone meringue with Mont Blanc. Absolutely worth a try!

12/04/2026: Lunch in Courmayeur at Cadran Solaire. Hearty and well-balanced dishes: the "La Favo'" with short pasta, fava beans, sausage, crostini, and fondue was excellent, as was the restaurant's own fondue, both good quality and well-executed. The atmosphere was traditional and romantic, in keeping with the mountain setting.

06/05/2026: A beautiful village just a few minutes' drive from Courmayeur. I stayed in the Romantic Suite, which offers a fantastic view of Mont Blanc. The room is well-furnished, with wood furnishings, a whirlpool tub, and is equipped with every comfort: a kitchenette, air conditioning, a kettle, a coffee machine with pods, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, herbal teas, and biscuits. All in a clean, tidy environment, with attention to every detail. The village has a restaurant/pizzeria and will soon open a bar, which also hosts live music evenings. The swimming pool is open during the summer, and there are also a gym and sports fields. I almost forgot: the staff were very friendly and the welcome was warm. I'll be back!

The location is enchanting, meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail, and immersed in a dreamlike setting, within what can unquestionably be called the most beautiful village in Italy. The welcome was impeccable: friendliness, professionalism, and customer care are evident from the first moment. The service is top-notch, elegant, and precise, making every guest feel special. The restaurant is truly top-notch: excellent dishes, quality ingredients, and refined flavors that enhance tradition with a touch of class. Each course is a unique experience for the palate. A special thanks goes to chef Michelle, the true jewel in the crown of the property. Her expertise, passion, and kindness make the stay even more exclusive and unforgettable. Highly recommended for those seeking excellence, beauty, and unparalleled hospitality. I will definitely be back!

Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and perfectly matched the atmosphere of the hotel. The spa experience was equally impressive. The sauna facilities alone were worth the trip, with five different saunas and wellness areas that made it easy to completely unwind after exploring the mountains. What really stood out to me was how attentive and helpful everyone was. I arrived not knowing much about the area, and the team immediately helped me organize activities, provided trail maps, explained where to walk, and even helped guide me toward visiting the Cogne mines. It made exploring the region feel seamless and welcoming. Even though I was only here for two days, I genuinely wish I had stayed longer. This place delivered one of the most relaxing and memorable hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic luxury mountain retreat with incredible service, wellness facilities, and hospitality that truly feels unmatched.

The chef has succeeded in bringing colors and flavors from around the world to the table, a culmination of his journeys through flavors and reinterpretations. Each dish is a true journey! Not all of the food was entirely up my alley but that is one of the perks of a tasting menu where the chef selects what you get! I think it was a good value for what you get as well.
