23/04/2026: The hotel is located in an elevated position above Courmayeur and has ample parking. There's a more direct path back to the village, and a free shuttle from the parking lot back to the chalet. The mountain views from every corner of the building are spectacular. The interior decor is very charming, and the owners clearly put effort into maintaining a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

25/04/2026: We stumbled upon this small and intimate restaurant almost by chance. The atmosphere is very clean, elegant, and well-kept. We ate a traditional appetizer, Tomino cheese, walnuts, radicchio subletot, asparagus with egg (fabulous), and homemade crepes. The food was simply delicious, but the even more beautiful element was the welcome. It's a family-run restaurant, but it pays attention to its customers, even if they're not regulars; it was our first time here. The chef, who asks how we like our dishes and makes sure everything is to our liking, is, I must say, an immense pleasure. The service is simple, attentive, and with a warm, discreet, friendly smile that makes you feel at home. Thank you so much for this wonderful welcome, which I recommend to anyone who enjoys simplicity but with attention to detail in the dishes and the unique balance of flavors. I didn't get to try the desserts; I was too full, but I would have eaten them all because they're my favorites (panna cotta, Catalan tart, and bonnet).

27/03/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Covalou, and I must say it was truly a wonderful experience. The ambiance is one of its strong points: quiet, welcoming, and very characteristic, with wood and stone elements that perfectly recall the Val d'Aosta tradition. We were seated near the pellet stove, a detail that made the atmosphere even warmer and more pleasant. The owner immediately proved to be extremely kind and attentive, which always makes a difference. A much-appreciated gesture was serving the children first, who were definitely hungry: they devoured a tagliatelle with white ragù that, in their words, was "to fly away." My wife and I started with two truly interesting traditional appetizers: an excellent Arnad lard accompanied by honey and chestnuts, a perfectly balanced pairing, and delicate and well-prepared Burgundy snails. For our second course, we chose beef slices to cook directly on the hot soapstone at the table, accompanied by vegetables: a convivial and very tasty experience. To conclude, the kids enjoyed a freshly made Nutella crepe, while we enjoyed a truly delicious house grappa. In short: a more than satisfying dinner in an authentic setting, with traditional cuisine and attentive, friendly service. Highly recommended!

20/03/2026: What can I say, an institution! If you're coming here thinking "I don't know what to eat," you've come to the wrong place. For 50 years, Marina has only been making polenta concia with stew and Valdostan soup with mixed grill, and there's no better place in the entire valley to eat soup! No frills, no frills, just authentic Valdostan food and excellent food! A must-visit if you're in the Ayas Valley.

17/09/2025: Four nights with my family, spent admiring the view from the excellent breakfast, continuing upon our return in the late afternoon to relax in the spotless and welcoming room overlooking the meticulously maintained garden. We finished with dinners at the hotel restaurant, sampling traditional and non-traditional dishes that left us speechless and with a smile on our faces. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed four days with the very friendly, helpful, and professional staff and management, and the cuisine was top-notch. Definitely a place to stay in the upper Aosta Valley, highly recommended and definitely worth returning to.

02/05/2026: A small but welcoming place in the center of Aosta. The staff was very kind and helpful. We ordered a menu that included a smash burger, a soft drink or water and coffee, and we were very satisfied. I was full but couldn't help but finish it. Highly recommended! The price was more than fair.

28/12/2025: We found this place by chance, and it was truly a wonderful discovery. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming and typical of the mountains. Everything was excellent, especially the gnocchi with fondue. The owner was super friendly!

28/12/2025: Simply fabulous, the Valdostan fondue was excellent. Recommended, equally excellent wine from the valley. Very friendly service, they welcomed us at 3:30 PM. Not to be missed.
