The polenta concia is simply fantastic. Zero-mile food, many of which are homemade, and it shows.
We'll definitely be back.

Excellent Aosta Valley cuisine, prepared with select, top-quality ingredients, many of which are home-grown. The house specialty, the polenta concia, is a must-try. The very young owner (who is also a beekeeper) is eager to provide information about the dishes and ingredients with rare enthusiasm and skill. The terrace overlooking the mountains is the icing on the cake, completing the pleasantness of the place. We will definitely return, if only to try the "Castiglio" honey.

They offer set menus today, they offered 3 options.
A full menu: appetizers, first course, second course, and dessert.
A menu with appetizers, first course, and dessert.
A menu with appetizers, second course, and dessert.
There's no choice between first and second courses, so as a trattoria, it's not a good choice for those who prefer to choose from à la carte.
Excellent food, good service, and they stop for a second.
The road to get there is winding through the woods. It's nice, but it's definitely best to book.
They have a play area for children outside.

A simple mountain trattoria with welcoming staff, especially Emil, who served the tables and explained the dishes and the ingredients, which were local, some of which were grown by them. We had the Easter menu, everything was delicious, the polenta concia and the Sueppa Valpellinenze as a first course were excellent.
I recommend it.
Dinner on March 28, 2026. Excellent experience! We felt welcomed from start to finish by the owners' son, who looked after us and gave us excellent advice, especially regarding the typical Aosta Valley dishes. The food was superb and high-quality, all homemade!
We opted for the menus that include a trio of house appetizers, a first course or grandpa's polenta (we chose both), dessert, and coffee.
Definitely worth repeating.
