Mountain restaurant in a typical mountain hut. Fixed menu: platter of mixed cold cuts served on a cork tray and polenta with meat in sauce (stew and sausage). Excellent tanning polenta. Possibility of choosing between 3-4 desserts.

Siamo andati per vedere la Big Bench #309 ed abbiamo deciso di pranzare in questo piccolo chalet dall'ambiente caldo e familiare. I camerieri gentili, simpatici e disponibili il come anche la proprietaria. Menù a prezzo fisso che comprende salumi valdostani: il lardo si scioglieva in bocca e polenta concia con spezzatino e salsiccia... una vera bontà! Polenta mangiata anche dal mio compagno a cui non piace... pensate se gli piaceva!!!!!

03/10/2023: La Cabane du Combal, located between Lake Combal and Lake Miage, can be reached with a comfortable walk of about an hour from the end of the Val Veny road. It is an old renovated restaurant and is an excellent starting point for trips to Val Veny.

18/03/2024: Excellent restaurant, finally a place in Aosta with great food, excellent service and more than honest prices. A dinner for two without missing anything 50 euros. Super helpful waiters, fresh and tasty pasta and excellent fish. I didn't know this place but I will definitely be back. Thank you
26/02/2024: Welcomed for a weekend lunch without reservation, 4 different first courses, all with handmade pasta and very fresh condiments. I dared the first "maison", with a curry sauce and sausage, truly surprising. Seeing is believing! We will definitely be back.
