22/04/2024: Nice place, good choice. In fact I find myself annoyed by the constant request for payment in cash, almost accusing the customer that they have expenses due. I have not been forced to pay in cash by any other merchant, it is now common practice. I understand that for payments up to 5 euros I pay at ATMs and the commissions have been canceled and when this exists it is around 1 percent, I would say not a drain. So I ask the staff not to insist again if they don't want customers to go elsewhere. I see from the reviews that they have been insisting for years and in the end this unmotivated insistence borders on rudeness.

20/08/2024: Terrible food, what a pity… waiters are students from hotel schools inexperienced and slow… loved the food here under the past management.

18/08/2024: We had dinner at Genzianella on our way back from a beautiful trek in the Adamello Brenta Park, and it was pleasant to find a still authentic restaurant a stone's throw from a place that is now a little too artificial like Madonna di Campiglio. We ate an excellent shank with polenta and mushrooms and a delicious sliced ​​venison, the house Merlot was also good and the desserts made by them were exquisite. The staff was very kind, attentive and professional. It will definitely be a fixed stop for us when we return to Val Rendena :)

18/07/2024: Before I leave this review I must stress that I have been eating in over 1000 restaurants on 3 continents. After living the dream in Dolomites and eating twice a day in restaurants this place left me with a very sour taste. At 1st the staff(which I knew straight away it is the owner)was very welcoming and accommodating. The place is cosy,you have to go down steep stairs,there is an elevator which was probably installed by the previous owner,but either doesn't work or had been stopped because of high energy consumption(costly). There is no drink menu(or we didn't get one),I think this is due to them being able to "adjust" the bill. The food was tasty BUT;I wanted to order mixed fish plate but the owner said I won't like that and he recommended grilled mixed meat which I have accepted.Straight after he left with the order we giggled about this reverse psychology and thought either he doesn't have the fish in stock or he makes a lot more money for the mixed meat which is €25,at the end we realised it was both. My family ordered pizzas and they were decent,but poor toppings.Tasty enough. When the mixed grill came I realised I made a huge mistake by letting him decide what I should eat;I received 3 pieces of meat and half sausage which is the canned one.A few other veg on the huge plate only to make it bigger and give the feeling of plenty.Very intelligent.I was hungry and I must admit it didn't taste bad but to pay €25 for this,it's purely robbery.I don't think all the cost of this plate with the cooking as well is more that €5 and the rest of €20 goes towards his brand new Porsche SUV. When asked if everything was fine missus said yes and no and he asked why and missus politely explained the situation to which the owner humiliated us saying it's the price that make us saying that and missus said its not.We were happy with the price before we got the food. We were expecting some consideration,nothing else,like apologies but instead we were treated like some average people that don't have money to pay for their food.I've spent in restaurants more than he spend on his brand new Porsche,being a Porsche fan and owned a few myself I would say in the region of €100k. Because we have been humiliated I wanted to show him that I am a foodie traveler and all my previous restaurants all over the globe to which he was very arrogant and decided to ignore me. We received no bill apart from the card machine receipt. Overall,this gentleman has changed a very nice and cosy restaurant in a perfect money making machine. I didn't received the service that I have paid for,very very expensive,definitely overpriced. I was also humiliated,in front of my family. I'm sorry to say this,but I have never been treated like this by an Italian and if this gentleman was an Italian I am sure he would have looked after us properly,not robbing us. Nearly forgot,in 2022 the mixed grill in this place was 4 pieces of meet,2 sausages plus veg and potatoes and it costed €20.Now there is 3 pieces of meet;half a sausage and no potatoes(they have been crossed off the menu with a pen)and it cost €25. As long as we,hard working people pay for this inexistent services,the art of serving food will only become a psychological robery. AVOID THIS PLACE.

21/08/2024: Attesa lunghissima poca gente ai tavoli. La scusa? Palmari con problemi, trascritto le comande a mano, servito tavoli arrivati dopo. PREZZO 14€ per un assaggio di orzotto riscaldato e stracotto.... Piatto di affettati e assaggio formaggi accettabile il pane per accompagnare? Vecchio e per 4 persone un micro sacchettino con croste e residui di pane del taglio di altre fette di pane. Direi pessimo. Scosigliatissimo. Prezzi alti per i piatti proposti. 62 € per 2 antipasti 1 primo 2 bottiglie di acqua da 750ml.

15/08/2024: We stopped for a coffee, so I can't give an in-depth contribution. The service was fast and kind. It is not located in the town center. It has ample parking. I imagine it's popular with tourists

21/07/2024: Excellent moment of relaxation with 'typical' and surprisingly good food, as well as all in all cheap. It's not a place where they serve fish dishes.

07/07/2024: Rooms very original but unfortunately not well maintained. Actually a great atmosphere - but it seems carelessly run and deserted. The breakfast was also served carelessly and very limited to the bare essentials. No fresh vegetables, as fresh fruit oranges and apples (not fresh), some melon cut open. It's actually a shame for the ambience, which really had potential (probably already had). This means that the overnight stay is much too expensive!

24/05/2024: There is no entry that the Ristorante is not open, there is no sign at the entrance Made the journey for free. I don't know how something like this is still possible today. I noticed that almost all of the entries are old. I would think that doesn't exist anymore. Definitely not in terms of appearance.

20/08/2024: Nice place, chosen by chance as all the places they recommended to us were full, excellent choice!!! Especially for couples with children, it has a play corner! The food was delicious, recommended by the very friendly and welcoming waiter, the porcini mushrooms they have are the bomb!! The desserts were delicious, what can I say... I'll be back!!

18/08/2024: Nice place apart from the amount of flies that accompanied us throughout the meal. Service lacking and inattentive although not rude. Poor and rubbery deer ribs, tasteless tortelloni drowned in terrible slop. Poor food at an unjustifiably high cost, a shame because initially when we passed it gave us an excellent impression. Definitely not recommended

07/08/2024: Posto molto piacevole tra Campiglio e pinzolo, ottimi piatti da stube/pub da consigliare il mezzo pollo arrosto!!! Non venivamo da 3/4 anni i prezzi si sono un po’ alzati ma comunque nella Media e forse erano bassi prima. Consiglio di prenotare…sempre pieno…ci sarà un motivo….

29/07/2024: buonasera, sono venuto con degli amici qua, le aspettative non erano basse ma questo ristorante le ha rispettate benissimo, i würstel, la salamella, lo stinco e l’ hamburger erano spettacolari, peccato per il pollo, che era un po’ stopposo. anche i tempi possono essere migliorati. l’esperienza è stata buona ed accogliente. lo consiglio agli amanti della carne. un saluto il vostro G. 04/06/2024: Their menu is impossible to read and leaves you with cheesy bread and tuna pizza. Go somewhere else, anywhere else

17/04/2024: Friendly and pleasant staff, quick service. Personally I enjoyed not only the pizzas, but also the angus burger which was truly delicious and well seasoned.
