Ristorante Borgo Casato In Castelnuovo berardenga

All in all, Podere Casato is excellent. We had a few difficulties upon arrival, which were due to some communication issues. We certainly should have done more research on how things work in the off-season. However, the hosts went to great lengths to meet our expectations, especially my wife's, and they succeeded. The rooms, the grounds, and the entire winery are top-notch and very authentic. We would love to return in the summer, as it must be even better then. From the second day onward, we were absolutely delighted. We and our daughter, Miriam, took everyone to heart because of the warm, family atmosphere. Upon departure, we took home some excellent wine, olive oil, and the best homemade Colomba. The Colomba was so delicious that it didn't even last two days and was highly praised by our Italian neighbors. They're still dreaming about it. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic and the best during our 10-day trip to Italy. Podere Casato was the second best place we visited on our Italian tour, and we will definitely be back. This time in summer 😀.
