02/07/2026: We have been traveling around Italy for a week now and have tried so many delicious foods, but the meal we had here was the absolute best so far!
The food was simply unparalleled and packed with authentic flavors. We weren't sure what to order, so we asked the staff for their recommendations—and they did not disappoint. Every single one of the 4 dishes they suggested was outstanding. Excellent service, incredible atmosphere, and top-tier hospitality. If you are visiting the Toiano area, do not miss out on this place. Truly excellent.
26/06/2026: American tourists found a gem of a spot. We stumbled upon this place trying to find a place to eat. We were waited on by the children of the owners, both nights we ate there. Yes, we made reservations two nights in a row because of the service and food. Couldn’t have been nicer. Do not miss this hidden gem on your travels throughout Tuscany and Pondetera!!

03/06/2026: My experience at this place was not good. When I asked a simple question about whether they had internet access, one of the women working there responded very rudely and was visibly upset, creating an awkward and unnecessary moment. I believe that customer service is essential, even for basic inquiries, and apparently, from what I've read, this is a recurring issue.
As for the food, it was okay, but nothing particularly noteworthy or memorable.

25/05/2026: Cold pasta and hard. Came right out of a microwave. Ordered tortellini and it came very small portioned with 4 tortellinis hard and cold. Ordered lasagna and it came cold in the middle. Ordered only water tortellini and lasagna and total came out to 42 euros. They shoud not have charged us for the uneaten pasta and when mentioned to server she did not care. Not a good place for a meal or service.
25/05/2026: Worst meal since we have been in the area. Lasagna tasted like it was out of the microwave and had a cold spot in the middle. Did not eat the dish and still was charged. DO NOT EAT HERE plenty of other places to go.

14/05/2026: The location might be deceiving—from the outside, it almost looks like a simple "bar," but the experience turned out to be FANTASTIC. The menu is very varied, from sliced steak to sea bass, and everything is absolutely delicious! A special mention for the pizza; for those who like it thin and crispy, it's one of the best I've ever had. The woman who runs the place is super friendly, helpful, and kind. The pizza chef is the same; you can tell they're not the owners, but they really care about their work. Then there's the price, which, considering everything we ordered, was almost as expensive as a fast food joint. If I were nearby, I'd go there every day!
08/05/2026: Typical Italian... Lots of loud people and very tasty food at fair prices.
We happened to be there and would go back for another meal in a heartbeat.
I especially loved the calamari... €12 and a huge portion. Just the way you like it.

25/10/2025: I went there for a graduation party one fall evening. The place was very nice inside, and it looked nice outside too, but it was raining, so we didn't go out. Good food and good service, nothing to complain about.
12/10/2025: I travel frequently for work from Sardinia to the Valdera area. And I absolutely cannot miss this irresistible encounter with the Antico Molino. Every time I enter this wonderful Tuscan farmhouse, meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail, every time I'm greeted by the owners with hospitality that is nothing short of familiar, and every time I sample each of their dishes, both on and off the menu, I feel like I'm living in a book of poetry. And every time I compare this restaurant to the many others I frequent, I realize that it's only here that I feel the immense desire to return. Well done! If it were possible, I'd give you 10 stars.

20/08/2025: On our way back from vacation, we decided to stop for a quick dinner. The place was cozy, the pizza was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
12/08/2025: I recommend changing the air conditioning. With these abnormal temperatures, a place that's in the sun all day, with glass walls... small... I highly recommend it. A few more precautions. Also, it's a bit expensive. We're in Pontedera on the main street, not Viareggio!!!!
