01/08/2025: Avoid this pastry shop due to its poor quality. From the uninterested and rude staff to the always messy and dirty place. Furthermore, the pastries are completely bland. The location is in the middle of a road.

29/07/2025: Unfortunately, I must confirm the poor quality of the brioche, which is not at all flaky; it's on par, if not worse, than homemade brioche dough. The quality/price ratio is truly poor, considering €1.50 a piece. There are provincial cafes where the brioche is absolutely better and costs less.

08/07/2025: I celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday and we were very happy, the staff were kind and welcoming, the service excellent and the environment clean, well-kept and beautiful, thank you for everything

03/08/2025: Servizio indecente! Siamo stati attirati semplicemente dal posto e dal fatto che in quel momento ci fosse molta gente, ma in realtà abbiamo subito capito che non era il massimo della ristorazione e che non dovrebbe nemmeno avere come nome “trattoria” (poiché è una offesa alle vere trattorie) da quando alla consegna dei piatti da noi ordinati, la cameriera ha dato tutti i piatti in mano a una ragazza seduta al tavolo da noi, dicendogli di consegnarli lei i piatti, giustificandosi dicendo che non sapeva a chi dovesse andare ogni singolo ordine.Successivamente abbiamo riscontrato vari particolari che già ci avrebbero fatto recensire questo “ristorante” con massimo 2 stelle, poiché abbiamo trovato bicchieri sporchi, piccoli pezzettini non alimentari (specificatamente pezzettini di plastica) all’interno dei piatti e portate che sembravano congelate.

29/07/2025: We ate here yesterday, and this is the worst establishment in all of Pisa. They rip off their guests by charging extras that aren't used and aren't requested. The food is terrible, and the staff is unfriendly. Then they try to threaten you. Bad, bad, bad.

25/07/2025: My husband and I went with high expectations, given how much it had been raved about. The appetizer was 9 mussels thrown into an old aluminum pan for show; the other appetizer had barely any fish, tasteless shrimp, and panzanella with 3 strips of squid. The fried fish was mediocre. The only good course was my calamari all'ortolana. Dessert wasn't homemade. A bottle of wine cost €22. Coffee. All for the modest sum of €120. Poor quality and paltry portions. In my opinion, you've lost all sense of proportion.

23/07/2025: The last time I was here was over 20 years ago. I have to say, everything was truly excellent and well-maintained, exceeding my expectations. I must return more often from now on.

18/07/2025: Posto molto caratteristico, cucina tipica toscana e soprattutto Volterrana Ottima e personale super gentile e familiare. Vasta scelta di ottimi vini. Ottima anche la qualità-prezzo! Se saremo di nuovo di passaggio a Volterra, torneremo sicuramente!

23/07/2025: Podríamos tener reserva, así que la primera noche no podía almorzar allí. La reserva de la segunda noche fue bien. El servicio lento, 2 personas de servicio, cansado, desconcertado. No conseguir la comida que pedimos, pero otra sopa. No vino blanco, sino tinto (enviado de vuelta) , el ajo se quemó en una pasta simple. El costo no vale la pena, lamentamos haber ido allí. Otra rebanada simple sabría en otro lugar. ¡Muy decepcionado!

15/07/2025: It was a pleasure dining here with my husband and in-laws. The food is excellent and unconventional, despite serving traditional Tuscan fare. The wine and beer list offers a great selection, and the atmosphere is truly welcoming. Dining at Merlo gives you the assurance of good, well-selected food and excellent service. 28/07/2025: We've rarely eaten as well and affordably as here! Our family enjoyed four delicious pizzas and wonderful desserts—all for a price you could only dream of in the Netherlands. The waitress didn't speak English, and my Italian is minimal, but with her kindness and dedication, she still made it a wonderful evening. What hospitality! Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back! 🇮🇹🍕🍮

24/07/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A small place with great potential Dar Cama is a truly unique pizzeria, different from the usual: they only make pizzas (and stuffed focaccias), but they do them very well. The quality is excellent, the dough is very thin and light, the flavors are varied, and you can customize them a lot. The prices are more than fair, I'd say rare these days. It's a shame there aren't many people, because they definitely deserve more customers: if you love good pizza and want to spend less, this is the place to be! That said, I'd like to point out, in a constructive spirit, a few aspects that could improve the experience: – There's no menu; it's explained verbally. This might be convenient for some, but a menu, even a simple one, would help make a clearer choice. – The bathroom was poorly maintained: the light bulb didn't work, and there were no soap or paper towels. Small things, sure, but important for giving a good overall impression. I'll definitely be back, because the quality of the pizza is excellent, and I hope this place can continue to grow, thanks in part to customer feedback. Go Dar Cama!

22/04/2025: The pizza is superb, light, digestible, balanced.. it is an excellent mix of ingredients.. I can taste every flavour.. light, well-leavened dough. excellent cooking.. pleasant family environment.. I will gladly go back

06/03/2025: I'm going to eat at this restaurant one evening in February (recommended by friends). Table x2. But I have to say that I didn't like the experience. Not much choice on the menu, very low quality and very slow service despite the small number of customers that evening. Furthermore, a lot of stuff didn't all arrive... and the little that did arrive wasn't of our order. Not very attentive staff
