02/04/2024: A small family Bistro, this is in the middle of the historic hill town of Volterra and offers home cooked meals. We have a vegetarian appetizer enough for a full meal consisting of grilled veggies,  burrata, pecorino, rice and a spinach and cheese quiche.  We also tried taglitelle and ravioli with spinach which were great.   And finally chingiale (wild boar cheeks) in a local Tuscan sauce which included chocolate and was delicious.  They also had artisinal Italian IPA which was good.   The downfall was the caffe which had a bitter burnt taste.

23/12/2023: Discovered this fantastic little café with an adjoining restaurant by chance. Super friendly boss and the espresso with the pastries is an absolute culinary delight. So comfortably furnished and the absolutely special thing: in addition to the culinary delights, there is an amazing ceiling fresco. For that reason alone it is worth coming in to enjoy this atmosphere for a moment.
