31/03/2026: I stopped there to pick up a tray of pastries to take to work. I was impressed by the variety of croissants and brioches. They also have savory options. The pastries are generously sized and very tasty! The service was friendly and quick. The only small drawback is that the place isn't very visible from the street. If you don't know it, you might not notice it.

29/03/2026: I got a takeout pizza yesterday, they messed up the order and delivered half of the pizzas, we had to wait another half hour for the other half to arrive, obviously all frozen like cardboard. Terrible experience.

16/04/2026: In Pontedera, Grano Vivo is a well-known gourmet pizzeria, attracting customers thanks in part to the high expectations it generates. The place presents itself very well: a refined, pleasant atmosphere, with an open-view oven that contributes to a welcoming and modern atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you enter with a certain curiosity and anticipation, perhaps for an evening with friends and family, as in our case. The start was promising: we tried the so-called "pizza sushi," a creative and successful idea. Fragrant, delicate, and balanced in flavor—a dish definitely worth trying. The less convincing part, however, came with the pizzas. We chose a multigrain dough, expecting something unique and worthy of the place's reputation. Unfortunately, the pizzas arrived lukewarm, verging on cold, and this significantly impacted the experience: the result was a product that lacked expression, with flavors that struggled to emerge. More than bad, the pizza seemed dull, lacking the character one expects from a gourmet restaurant. Another aspect that matters a lot to us is digestibility: the next day, the feeling was a bit heavy, despite the relatively simple pizzas we chose. This suggests that the dough, at least on this occasion, wasn't perfectly balanced. Overall, it was a mixed experience: a pleasant atmosphere and some interesting ideas, but a pizza that didn't live up to expectations. With more attention to serving temperature and dough balance, the experience could certainly improve. It's still a place with potential, and it probably deserves another chance to show off its potential.

15/04/2026: Mine was a delightful evening. The atmosphere was beautiful, refined, and well-maintained, with a relaxing play of light. The staff is very kind, always smiling and helpful. Then comes the star of the evening: PIZZA!! It surprises you with its colors and aromas, and then comes the explosion of flavors combined with great skill! The dough is spectacular because it's light, very digestible, and cooked to perfection! I highly recommend it, and if you pay a little more, it's truly worth it!

07/06/2026: Although the restaurant is somewhat hidden away, it's definitely worth a visit. It offers both outdoor and indoor seating. The service is very friendly. The restaurant serves delicious local dishes and is highly recommended.

16/02/2026: I went for the panino kebab, one of the best kebab i have ever eaten, and at 5 euros, hats off, if i ever came again to Pisa, i will eat here again, stuff friendly too. I eat often Kebab and Shawarma, i am from Romania, so keep that in mind too.

04/05/2026: We wanted pizza and they had decent pizza at great prices. The young lady working at the restaurant was very nice. We really liked it. She asks us to sit down outside in the plaza and brought us the pizza when it was hot. We had spicy pepperoni. It was really good and very warm!

29/04/2026: It's a great option if you want to grab a quick slice of pretty good pizza (though I'm not sure if it's pizza) and an Aperol. $6.50 for this combo, I think it's a great option for a quick fix.

14/05/2026: Everything was tasteless and oversalted, the presentation was like at a train station, the service was pushy, I definitely don't recommend it. On the plus side, the Wi-Fi hotspot

07/03/2026: Saturday night, the place was packed. Unfortunately, there were only two people, or maybe even one, taking our orders. Our order wasn't taken until an hour after we'd sat down. We could have easily left, but we were with friends, and not everyone was happy to leave. Other than that, the food was very good.
