06/11/2025: We love having an aperitivo here; I always ask for a fruit-based drink of their choice, and they always make it happen. The platters feature good local produce, and they also offer chips, taralli, and other treats. We'll gladly return if we're ever in the area.

21/10/2025: Il Giradischi is a little hidden gem in Pontedera, in the province of Pisa. A truly original venue that combines the spirit of a wine bar with that of a record shop, creating a unique and welcoming atmosphere. The aesthetic of the venue is meticulously crafted, with a jazz background that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The shop offers a good selection of CDs at very affordable prices, while the vinyl records, though fewer in number, are slightly above average, but I still managed to find a title I'd been looking for for a while, offered at the right price. Special mention goes to the young man at the counter, who was extremely kind and helpful: after my purchase, he even gave me a fabric shopping bag with the shop's logo, a useful and reusable gift that I really appreciated. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to stop for a glass of wine or to try their platters, but the atmosphere was so inviting that I'm sure I'll be back at the first opportunity. If you're a music lover and find yourself in the Pontedera area, I highly recommend stopping by—a place where passion, taste, and atmosphere come together perfectly.

11/07/2025: From what I've been told, the ice cream is good, and I've noticed the portions are generous. It's a shame they don't offer lactose-free options. Only sorbets. ☹️

03/11/2025: Very good gluten-free pizza, with excellent dough consistency and, most importantly, the size is that of a regular pizza. I recommend it to anyone with celiac disease or gluten intolerance.

09/09/2025: Small street-side pizzeria with both indoor and outdoor seating. The lady was very friendly and always smiling... I ended up ordering almost everything to convince myself it was good, and it didn't take long. The cecina was also delicious. It's been bookmarked... if I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by.

28/09/2025: The only real pub in the area, with a wide selection of beers, as well as unique and interesting cocktails. Delicious burgers and various fried foods are also available. Spacious venue with the option to watch games! A must-try in my opinion.

05/10/2025: 3 very successful experiences in this bistro (at different times). Beyond the superb view outside (panoramic terrace), the atmosphere is very pleasant. The service is fast (even in the middle of August) and the staff friendly. We ate very well each time and the prices are reasonable for this very touristy village. We will return with great pleasure the next time we are in Volterra.

15/11/2025: Unfortunately, the experience wasn't satisfying: some dishes were excessively buttery, making the taste heavy and overpowering. Furthermore, the service was unprofessional and, in some instances, even rude, which negatively impacted the entire meal.

11/09/2025: Highly recommended!!! Homemade bread tastes sensational! Olive oil from their own production! Wine, tagliatelle, and tiramisu were divine! Very friendly owner and staff. We'll be back anytime we're in the area.
