06/04/2025: Poor service and arrogant owner. We arrive at 8.30pm in the not too full place and as soon as we sit down one of the waiters asks us what we wanted to drink. After about a quarter of an hour the order is taken (2 pizzas). after 30 minutes of waiting, a waiter arrives and, seeing us a little impatient, tells us that our pizzas were in the oven and that when serving they were following the order of arrival of the tables (which was more than correct) to which I replied that there were no problems for that but I pointed out that it would have been better to inform them when the order was taken that there would be quite a bit of waiting because we would probably have ordered something else. after about 2 minutes another waiter arrives and laughs the same thing "the room is full and we are following the order of arrival of the tables" to which I repeat to myself that if we had known beforehand about all that waiting for the pizzas we would have perhaps taken a first course from the kitchen and the waiter stammeringly replies that we were right but that we would still have had to wait. The pizzas arrive after 40 minutes and are quite good and once finished we get up to go and pay. When we got to the cashier we were doing our homework on the pizza saying that it was good except that (probably the owner himself) very arrogantly told us "if you arrived for 65%, eat for 65%" to which, a little stunned by the rude way in which it was said (since we expected at least a "thank you" after the compliment given), we ask to repeat it as we are incredulous and the gentleman with even more arrogance repeats the same thing and tells us the price of the pizza. I count. Evidently he couldn't wait for us to leave, in fact after our "well goodbye and thank you" he even denied us a greeting and continued to badmouth us as we left the place. Needless to say we will never return

03/04/2025: Absolutely the best traditional pizza and lots of originality and imagination for gourmets! It is not easy to find restaurants where quality reigns supreme: pizza, cuisine, desserts but above all the staff. At Meridiana you always feel at home. Great work! Definitely worth trying, because then you'll never leave it again.

04/03/2025: First of all, it's cheap, and there's delicious pizza and calzones, as well as good house wine. You can feel that this is a place with soul, where they want to feed you well, not just make money. I recommend!

31/10/2024: Last year, in the same place, we ate the best pizza in Italy and drank many liters of the house red super wine... this year, a big disappointment, and we came to Voltera just for the pizza. The wine tasted very bad, almost not drinkable, and the pizza was a severe disappointment, not even close to last year's gastronomic pleasure. All in all, we don't come anymore!

13/02/2025: I spent a nice evening with friends, the place is beautiful, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Refined menu and a wide choice of wines.

11/03/2025: Ambiente informale, avevamo parecchie aspettative ma siamo stati delusi alquanto. Focaccine troppo unte, un fritto appena sufficiente e soprattutto un pesce al forno che gridava vendetta….piccolo e asciutto.

19/10/2024: Very friendly bar with a nice atmosphere, a nice wine list and very reasonable prices. All in a very pleasant setting, on a small square with several bars around.

20/03/2025: I love this place, very nice with very kind and fast staff. Pizza in 3 variations: superfine called alla romana even if in Rome I don't know, anyway I'm Roman, then tall and finally with cereals. Honestly this very thin one that is so popular in Tuscany I don't like, so I took the normal/tall one, and I liked it a lot, crunchy and soft, overall very light; I took the Martello, super spicy, and I cured my flu with it 😋😋😋😋 many other variations, from focaccia, to calzone, from traditional ones to those with the name of tools, super seasoned with everything. We know that they make desserts, good, unfortunately we are not into desserts, we didn't see any mention of appetizers or similar, even if we saw cecina going around, next time we'll investigate. It's the season and we also saw some beautiful doves, but we preferred the loaf of bread to take home, and we tasted it right away, it's delicious, it says it lasts 4 days, tzé, it should last 4 days, but you'll see tomorrow it's finished. We'll be back!
