02/06/2025: Starting from the assumption that the management of this place has changed a few months ago, instead of making the usual subjective review that can then be a waste of time, I would like to try to make a constructive criticism dictated by my professional backround and therefore not an end in itself: 1 - the nice location has great potential but there is still a lot to do especially in the external part. 2 - The brand "Il Cacciatore di Sapori" questionable from a corporate brand profile, but which could be fitting if applied to real culinary research in proposing unconventional dishes, otherwise there is the risk of creating misleading expectations for customers. 3 - The prices applied must be proportional to the quality of the raw materials offered and how they are cooked (eg fried fish at € 18.00). When you order a fried food at this price, it should be at least decent and not soaked in oil and without salt (as happened to me) ... These mistakes should never happen ... In favor of this thing, however, I must say that in any case of two terrible fried foods, one was taken off my bill. 4 - the service was good but not in line with the positioning to which the restaurant wants to aspire (e.g. when you bring wine to the table, before placing the bottle on the table, it is good practice to have it tasted first, which did not happen to me) ... Having said that, I hope for the owners that this review of mine serves above all as an incentive to progress and do better in the future ... The road to success is always uphill and full of obstacles and depends only on the decisions you will make along the way ... In any case, good luck with everything.

27/05/2025: The pizza is very good and the girls at the counter are very friendly.

20/05/2025: We wanted to eat a good pizza but we had little time and this was the ideal solution. Not the usual pizza by the slice but "normal" round pizzas. You can have them in slices or even whole. Many flavors, we tried several and they were all better than the other. The pinsa was also good. I was told that their cecina is also very good but we didn't try it. Excellent for a quick meal but also for those who have more time. Nice atmosphere.

25/05/2025: Pastry bar with a dark assortment of sweets ... Prices are normal ... Excellent coffee ... Personally I tried a mini rum baba and it was delicious ... Major credit cards accepted ... Overall Excellent!

11/05/2025: best coffe, pastries, cakes and savory staff in the area. All is mejestically prepared from the shop with top fresh ingredients. the staff is super kind, smiling and happy to serve you. It is one of my favorite stop.

27/05/2025: Must try!! Excellent quality dishes, abundant beyond our expectations and perfect service. Worth mentioning in particular are the truffle crostini, the pappardelle with wild boar and Cinta Senese ragù, the hand-cut fried potatoes and the truffle flan and above all a kindness that is difficult to find.

10/06/2025: We went for pizza, the waitress didn't explain to us that she would bring double pizzas. Each person ordered a pizza for themselves but we ended up with double pizzas (i.e. x2 people) brought to the single person with an exorbitant bill, I go in and ask the manager for explanations, a person who is not at all patient and understanding who justifies himself by saying that the waitresses are not experts, I tell him that it is not the customer's problem that the waitresses are not experts, during the short debate the manager leaves me there without finishing the conversation and goes away without finding a solution and without finishing the conversation, not very polite and not very professional. Nice place, good food but service and staff in my opinion to be improved.

26/04/2025: When we booked we understood that the service took place over multiple shifts and we chose the 7.30pm shift. Up to the dessert everything was perfect, good pizza and excellent service. We finished eating dessert at 9pm and asked for coffee which was brought to us after about 20 minutes of waiting. After about 2 minutes the waitress comes to tell us that she needs the table... let's say that we just drank the coffee... and she insists that she had already brought it to us 5 minutes ago in an uncourteous manner, meaning that we had to get up. It's a shame that the evening ended like this. I understand the stress of having multiple shifts and having to respect them... the 20 minute wait wasn't our fault... I won't go back!

24/04/2025: A nice and informal place with a place outside for summer dinners. Fantastic pizzas with alternative doughs such as cereals or coal. Appetizers with high quality products such as burrata...taggiasca olives...dried tomatoes...tasty cured meats. Young...smiling...helpful service And last but not least, a super competitive price. Delicious and delicious homemade desserts: tiramisu...lemon delight..baba' also with cream.. Must try....come back...and confirm every time as one of the best pizzerias in the area!!!!! Furthermore, they also make gluten-free pizzas which have nothing to envy from the normal ones... and delicious and delicate gluten-free desserts.

14/05/2025: This restaurant is 4.5 stars for me. I've added to 5 to show that they have great potential. Suggestions to the owner/management: * Add the English menu to all you can eat. Seriously, it's AI-century. This is almost 0€ cost * shrimp dumpling should be full shrimp, not the processed shrimp What we liked: + The waiter guy was amazing. He was caring and attentive + All-you-can eat offer: nice marketing 👌 + The fruit tea was amazing 👏 + Overall food we enjoyed, especially Soba, meat on the Skewers, and the rest + Great interior

12/05/2025: The place is very nice and relaxing, the problem is the staff who don't bring the food you ordered and also the price is too high. Ah, obviously the food that is not brought will still be included in the final bill. Lower the prices!!

21/05/2025: I had a really good and tasty pizza, but the menu is varied, it also includes appetizers, first courses and desserts. The waitress was really kind and helpful. I recommend it!

17/05/2025: Nice surprise discovered on the fork. Very kind and smiling staff, who can advise on the dishes of the day without being at all invasive. Nice place, even the outside area and excellent pizza. We will return to try the appetizer for two which must be exceptional. Craft beers and a wide selection of wines from all regions. Well-selected desserts and affordable prices.

30/05/2025: Highly recommended, a cute little pizzeria with very reasonable prices! Delicious and friendly, fast service! Oh yes: the restroom will delight any cyclist... ;-) Conclusion: We really enjoyed it and will probably use it again for our final dinner on a future visit to Volterra!
