Two portions of cecina (maybe 100 grams each?) and a small bottle of water for €20.00... I asked twice to confirm the price. The owner doesn't exactly exude friendliness... Never again! There are countless other places in Pisa where you can eat excellent cecina for a quarter of the price. Not recommended. I'll add a few words based on the response I received. I asked twice about the correctness of the bill; I couldn't have been in his head to know he'd charged me for the drinks of two other customers who came in after us. However, the words and tone used only confirm my opinion. 😉👋

07/07/2026: Mr. Giovanni greets us at the entrance, and within moments we immediately become acquainted. A third-generation baker, he grew up with the trade in hand. At 6:30 PM, he was still churning out fresh, quality products. The place was well-stocked and full of fragrant, delicious products like schiacciata and bread. When we asked him for a photo for the review, he happily showed us his pizza and told us he'd soon donate the rest of it to those in need. The quality/price ratio is also exceptional. A must try!

16/08/2026: Friendly service, but inattentive. I didn't even get cutlery; half a set was lying on the table opposite me, which I then used. The server didn't pay attention to the table, even though she brought dressings and food several times. Vegetarians are out of luck there, but I'm used to that and usually just order salad and the like. The bread was so dry you'd think it had been sliced ​​that morning and left to rot in 40-degree heat. It was also completely tasteless. So I ordered side dishes: potatoes (which were okay) and mixed vegetables—what arrived was thawed spinach that still tasted frozen. The salad was unimaginative: a few leaves of arugula and traces of other leafy greens, a few pieces of tomato, and some grated carrots for garnish—that was it. There were no wines by the glass on the menu, so I ordered a beer. It was cold, even had a bit of a head, and tasted better than the food. I won't be going back. Perhaps the pizzas are better. In any case, there were a lot of guests, and as far as I could see, they were all eating pizza. So, as a pizzeria, it's probably OK, but as a restaurant, not for me.

02/07/2026: An excellent and pleasant surprise in Montescudaio. Excellent quality ingredients, imaginative and original menu options, always respectful of the ingredients and flavor. The charcuterie and cheese platter was excellent, very generous and beautifully presented. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a truly enjoyable dinner.

30/07/2026: One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! We ordered the Diavola, Napoletana, Tartufata, Capricciosa, and the seafood pizza, and every single one was delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the prices were very reasonable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and always happy to help. If you’re in Tuscany, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

03/06/2026: A tip led us to this restaurant. The dishes were all very well seasoned. The scampi and prawns were grilled to perfection. Excellent bread was provided, which I suspect was homemade. The bruschetta and desserts were very good. All in all, very good value for money. My only criticism is that the red ambiance doesn't quite do the food justice.
