19/08/2026: Delicious, lovingly cooked, down-to-earth and traditional Tuscan cuisine.

18/08/2026: Beautiful setting. Family-run restaurant. Our main issue was the service. We left after closing time because the waiters were clearing the empty restaurant and chatting with others while we waited for the dessert menu, our plates empty for 20 minutes. Furthermore, when our desserts finally arrived, there was a mistake in our order, and we were met with an unpleasant response as if we didn't know what we had ordered. Finally, I must point out that the cacio e pepe we ordered was actually just a few gnocchi swimming in oil and coarsely grated pecorino cheese; for €15, we expected better. The portion sizes also seemed quite small in other dishes, such as the Pici All Aglione. Nevertheless, the desserts were very good, especially the tiramisu. The beautiful setting and warm atmosphere made up for the evening, but we weren't convinced by the quality of the food and the rather slow service.

06/06/2026: The outside is very nice, but the inside leaves much to be desired; the porchetta sandwiches are good...as a bar, it's sufficient.

21/08/2026: We arrived without knowing anything about it and were pleasantly surprised; the ravioli and lasagna were delicious! I definitely recommend it.

16/07/2026: Simply the best you can find in Pisa and beyond. Excellent wine list, with excellent options by the glass (but there's something for everyone, cocktails and beers are no exception!). Special mention for the glass of Pinot Noir (red). And that's just the beginning. All the dishes are truly delicious, but what keeps me coming back are the crostoni. Delicious bread, perfectly toasted. Fresh ingredients for seasonal pairings. Special mention for the Crostoni with Taleggio and Mushrooms (its beauty lies in its simplicity). Last but not least, what truly takes Dolce Vite to another level is the staff. Whether you're passing through the center of Pisa or a local, you'll find special people always ready to welcome you, with that genuine smile of someone happy to work there, and with that infectious friendliness that will surely make you feel at home.

24/06/2026: A truly wonderful experience. I especially notice the great qualities of the people who work there, excellent recruitment skills. The local curly guy? He's great. Special mention to K., V., and S., my sisters in Christ, to say the least. Enjoy this place, but tourists go home.

21/08/2026: Slow and unprofessional service: all the dishes arrived at once. The menu is very limited, especially the appetizers. The lamb was overcooked. The chocolate mousse and wines were excellent. Expensive for what it is. In short: not worth the trip or the reputation of a gourmet restaurant.

15/08/2026: If you've come to Tuscany to eat well and enjoy traditional dishes, this isn't the place for you. The location is truly sketchy. The first surprise was that we felt our dog was pressing in, and we were practically sitting right next to the exit. The second surprise was the menu, written only in English. The comment was that they have practically no Italian customers (and now I know why). I only saw the dishes, partly because for the first time in my life I got up and left. Crazy prices.

02/06/2026: The best mushroom pizza I've ever eaten. The dough, the ingredients, and the flavor were simply outstanding. The employee only speaks Italian, but that's absolutely no problem. She's incredibly kind and friendly, so you still feel welcome. The small desserts and sweets are also delicious and definitely worth trying.

02/01/2026: On December 31st we visited this very special pizzeria. What can I say? They delighted us with unique delicacies all from Campania. The pizza was truly amazing, soft and melt-in-your-mouth like nothing we'd ever tasted before. Our heartfelt compliments to the owners, who told us they'll soon be making improvements to the entire outdoor seating area. Congratulations indeed!

01/01/2026: The reviews don't lie, it's absolutely the best Neapolitan pizza in the area. They're truly unbeatable. The dough has a unique flavor and all the ingredients are excellent. I highly recommend it. They're about to install a new outdoor terrace. They told me, and to say, they're the best!

22/05/2026: I had lunch there today before going to work. I came in at 12 and was finished by 12:30. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, and the prices were super fair. I recommend it to everyone, both workers and families. From Monday to Saturday, you can eat at a reasonable price, with authentic, locally sourced food. My compliments to the restaurant and all the staff. I'll be back soon!

11/05/2026: Excellent entertainment with karaoke and dancing. A lovely lakeside setting. Unfortunately, the food and service were rather disappointing. We went on Saturday, May 9th, at 8:30 PM and all six of us chose the full house menu, with a 1 kg steak for two people. After a two-hour wait, at 10:20 PM to be precise, the first steak for two arrived; the other four people waited until 11:00 PM, when, instead of two steaks on the traditional stone, they were brought a single wooden platter with pieces of meat and a single bone (?), the meat inside completely raw and "strangely very cold." The side of fries arrived even later, after they had "finished the steak" and after we had repeatedly asked... The evening was saved only by the excellent entertainer and his music 🙂

08/08/2026: We were a bit torn in between. The food, for instance, the cheese plate was really good and the meat and meals were delicious (and the Primi meals quite big). On the other hand, the salade was only okay and we were disappointed by the Service. It felt stressed and rushed, things came too late and we often felt misunderstood or sold on. Maybe It was due to the language barrier, but that really decreased our experience. Also, the music did not really fit the nice atmosphere on the terrasse. Therefore, overall food was mostly good but service could be improved on many ends.
