Impeccable... Best dinner ever in Volterra...

We stumbled upon this place almost by accident while wandering around Volterra's city center, and I have to say: it was a perfect choice. The food is truly excellent, with well-prepared and flavorful traditional Tuscan dishes; you can taste the quality. The staff is super friendly and welcoming; they immediately made us feel at ease, which is not something you'd expect these days. Plus, the location is perfect, right in the center, very convenient if you're visiting Volterra. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

We traveled from Brescia specifically to return to this wonderful restaurant in Volterra, a truly special place for us, and once again they exceeded all expectations. The cuisine is extraordinary; we had a Florentine steak that could only be described as "out of this world"—the quality of the meat and the cooking were truly superb. But the true heart of this place is the hospitality. What makes this restaurant unique are the people who work there. The owner and the waitress are two wonderful people, incredibly skilled and charming. They literally pampered us from start to finish, making us feel at home and creating a warm and special atmosphere. Thank you so much for making our evening wonderful. We had dinner at La Terra di Mezzo, ordering several courses, and everything was delicious. The girl who served us was kind and always up to par. The owner is very friendly. Recommended.

We booked because we were attracted by the menu, which was a bit different from all the other restaurants within the city walls of Volterra. The setting was truly beautiful and original, carved out of stone... The food was excellent, carefully prepared and beautifully plated, excellent value for money, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Definitely worth a try!!! We bitterly regretted not ordering the Florentine steak...but we saw plenty of them: they were spectacular!!! The wines were good. We ended the dinner with a delicious homemade tiramisu.

Impeccable service; with a smile, our dinner became even better. Truly good food, a unique place steeped in history. The old wine cellar is very charming. The Florentine steak (€6 per hg) was a real hit for its value. We also tried fresh truffle pasta dishes and platters; I must say, nothing was left to chance; everything was delicious! Well done! 😊
