Fantastic experience. We had lunch with our family today at this wonderful restaurant. The place itself is beautiful, the food was excellent, as was the service and staff. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended.

We had dinner at La Terra di Mezzo, ordering several courses, and everything was delicious. The girl who served us was kind and always up to par. The owner is very friendly. Recommended.

We booked because we were attracted by the menu, which was a bit different from all the other restaurants within the city walls of Volterra.
The setting was truly beautiful and original, carved out of stone...
The food was excellent, carefully prepared and beautifully plated, excellent value for money, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
Definitely worth a try!!!
We bitterly regretted not ordering the Florentine steak...but we saw plenty of them: they were spectacular!!!
The wines were good.
We ended the dinner with a delicious homemade tiramisu.

Impeccable service; with a smile, our dinner became even better. Truly good food, a unique place steeped in history. The old wine cellar is very charming. The Florentine steak (€6 per hg) was a real hit for its value. We also tried fresh truffle pasta dishes and platters; I must say, nothing was left to chance; everything was delicious! Well done! 😊

What a delightful discovery in Volterra. This authentic restaurant serves daily fresh produce, fresh pasta, top-quality products like truffles and pancetta… accompanied by delicious wines. The host is genuinely super friendly and humorous. To finish, a tasty grappa made by the staff themselves. A place run with love.

I only write reviews when I think it's worth taking the time to repay the quality of the experience I've had, and this is one of those cases: I want to thank both the waitress for her extreme kindness and the owner for the genuine warmth with which they welcomed us.
We ate wonderfully (the Florentine steak was delicious), but when, in addition to good food, there's also the courtesy and spontaneity that makes you feel like a guest and not just a tourist... well, what more can I say?
The place will remain in my memory not only because it's charming but also because we met some lovely people there and shared a laugh.

What can I say? I went in because the name intrigued me, and I was right. The location is charming, the food is excellent, and the duck breast and black garlic spaghetti are truly spectacular. The service is impeccable, managed by a professional and very kind woman. The price is fair, considering it's Volterra, the location is truly unique, the quality of the ingredients, and the service. Thank you. I hope to return soon.
