10/05/2025: We had an excellent experience with authentic Italian cuisine. We first visited in the afternoon, before 19:30, when the kitchen was still closed. Despite this, we were able to enjoy reheated lasagna and arancini di riso, both of which were delicious. Later, we returned around 21:00 and ordered the truffle ravioli and stuffed mussels. We absolutely fell in love with the truffle ravioli. The tiramisu and panna cotta were also exceptional. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful throughout our visit. The next day, I returned to purchase caviar and truffle at a very reasonable price.

02/06/2025: Cena a dir poco meravigliosa. Piatti squisiti e di ottima qualità. Servizio gentile e disponibile. Ottima rapporto prezzo qualità. Talmente buono il cibo che lo abbiamo divorato. L'unica foto è dei dolci buonissimi anche essi. Tutto fresco e delizioso. Buona la carta dei vini. Consigliatissimo.

25/05/2025: Ho trovato un locale molto bello e curato, estremamente cortese il personale di sala, attento e punuale, pronto ad illustrare i piatti a disaposizione e a consigliarti per il meglio, solo per un cameriere così vale la pena tornarci altre volte

06/05/2025: My partner and I wanted to try this restaurant with a complete fish-only menu: we booked even though early May is still low season and in fact we caught the evening where we were alone... Nonetheless, the service was excellent, there was no desire to send us away to close quickly, in fact the waiter explained to us in detail all the details of the menu and what extras the kitchen allowed, furthermore we were offered a glass of rosé prosecco and a very refined entrée. The two first courses were excellent and the fried prawns, squid and calamari were amazing, dry, crunchy and plentiful (luckily we had two of them), and the dessert was also different from the usual ones. All of this, including a bottle of Vermentino Toscano, at 55 each, not even exaggerated considering the refined environment, refined cuisine and seafront location.... We'll be back!

31/05/2025: Su 4 panini 2 tropea mancava la cipolla di tropea e il bacon croccante . Su gli altri 2 vulcano mancava la pancetta arrotolata. Lo abbiamo fatto notare e la cameriera ha ammesso un disguido in cucina. Dopo 10 minuti viene la proprietaria le spieghiamo l'accaduto e lei come prima risposta cita testuali parole: mi sembra strano che in tutti e 4 mancasse qualcosa... e poi dice che dovevamo dirlo subito.. come se dovessimo aprire il panino per verificarne gli ingredienti... a metà panino lo abbiamo notato e la cameriera ai era offerto di rifarlo.. abbiamo detto che non importava ma che ci aspettavamo uno sconto per la mancanza degli ingredienti. Da qui sempre la gentile proprietaria ha insinuato che il motivo era che volevamo pagare meno... al che ci siamo sentiti ulteriormente offesi così mi sono alzata e ho pagato il conto così come da menu. Consiglio vivamente alla proprietaria di cambiare mestiere o di stare lontano dai clienti . Io non tornerò mai più e segnalo questo posto gestito veramente da una persona CAFONA. Cara signora l'italiano è italiano e l'affermazione "mi sembra strano" non lascia dubbi e non è soggetta ad interpretazioni.

01/05/2025: Well guys, the bread is dry, the order was requested 3 times and it arrived wrong. The cost is also too high for a mediocre sandwich.

26/05/2025: Very delicious pizza! We had the Truffle and the Cappriciosa. The service was also very nice and friendly. The ambiente is typical Pizzeria style. We will come back again for sure :-)

18/05/2025: Great pizza, nothing wrong with it. Good choice, I had the Tartufa with extra prosciutto crudo. Delicious. The Sicilana was also delicious, luckily not too salty.

13/04/2025: The importance of the vegetable, notes of great study, the result is of great quality. The well-studied wine list, many labels outside the ''classics''. Attention to detail, extremely elegant but very welcoming environment. Clear menu, with personality. I will definitely come back. Very pleasant surprise.

The wine was incredible, huge shelf to choose from, meat and cheese board was perfect Can add small sharing bites with crisps for €1 per person The staff were so lovely Located on a busy square full of restaurants and bars, perfect Pisa evening

28/04/2025: My husband and I spent a few days at this hotel to explore Tuscany, and overall, we were very impressed! The hotel is beautifully located on a hill, offering breathtaking views – especially during breakfast, which was truly a highlight! (Honestly, if we weren’t already married, we might have chosen to get married here! 🥰) The drive up to the hotel is a bit narrow and winding, so it’s important to drive slowly and carefully. The entire property is extremely well maintained, very clean, and full of love and attention to detail. We received a warm welcome at check-in. A staff member showed us around briefly while another took our luggage to our room. Throughout our stay, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Our room was spacious, stylishly furnished, and well equipped: a comfortable bed with feather pillows, a large shower, a coffee machine, a kettle, and a well-stocked minibar. Housekeeping was reliable and thorough every day – we didn’t miss a thing. 😊 We also enjoyed the beautiful spa area: the indoor sauna and whirlpool were beautifully designed, with a nice selection of teas available. The outdoor whirlpool was lovely too, although the water had a slight smell, so we didn’t stay in for too long. Wi-Fi was available throughout the hotel and worked very well. There were also plenty of free parking spaces. The only downside was the breakfast: The scrambled eggs and bacon were cold every morning, even though we usually arrived around 9 AM (breakfast was available until 10 AM). Warm breakfast dishes were available for an additional fee, which we chose not to pay. The selection mainly catered to guests with a sweet tooth (cakes, croissants, etc.). For those who prefer savory options, there was little variety – more types of cheese, cold cuts, or local specialties like olives would have been nice.. Fresh juices were also only available for an extra charge; otherwise, the juices provided were very sweet and from a carton. Conclusion: A beautiful hotel with stunning views and a lot of love put into every detail – perfectly located to explore Florence, Pisa, Siena, and the breathtaking Tuscan landscapes (highly recommend visiting the viewpoint at Agriturismo Baccoleno!). Despite minor breakfast issues, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful Tuscan getaway! 😍

01/12/2024: We stayed for one night in the truly beautiful Tuscan room, equipped with a hydromassage tub and a shower placed in front of the bed. The room was really bright, comfortable and equipped with every comfort you could think of. Courteous and very welcoming staff. Not to mention the view during breakfast, nothing short of fantastic. Very helpful waiter

10/05/2025: BOUNCE LUGGAGE VERO BISTRO *DONT USE*! Luggage returned SOAKED! Wheeled to us leaving a trail of water on the floor. Nothing said until we questioned… Their response, ‘cellar is wet, maybe mop’ smiling. No offer to help dry or process refund, disgusting. Left with soaked clothes and bag to deal with. Regret using this place!

06/05/2025: We stayed at the Borgo in May with a group of friends for the second consecutive year. The village welcomes you, pampers you, makes you unplug from the city routine. The highlights are undoubtedly the silence, the beauty of the apartments, the greenery that surrounds the structure, the varied breakfast on the terrace with breathtaking views, the starry vault that welcomes you in the evening, the vegetarian dishes with the touch of Chef Francesco and the kindness of Eleonora who welcomes you at the start of the day with a smile. Not to forget Paolo at the reception always super helpful. We will be back soon.
