20/08/2025: Absolutely amazing place with amazing food

19/08/2025: We had dinner here, and besides the lovely atmosphere, the staff was all very friendly, helpful, and cheerful. We had an appetizer for two, with fried pasta, cured meats, and cheese, ravioli lucchesi with radicchio, walnuts, and pecorino, and maltagliati with Cinta Senese ragù. Everything was delicious.

10/08/2025: The pizza is always good quality, but with the switch from wood-fired to electric, I've found a different result than I remembered. In the past, as a Neapolitan, I was ecstatic; today, I hope they develop a dough that will bring the South back to the level it deserves. Go guys, and go Naples ❤️

09/08/2025: The pizzas were excellent, but the dough around the edges was quite stiff. We hadn't made a reservation, but luckily we were able to sit inside. The staff inside didn't seem very pleased about this, as it meant they had to move tables. Upon seating, we were told they would need the table again soon. The pizzas arrived quite quickly. Paying was quick at the cash register. Upon receiving our receipt, we discovered we had to pay €2 per person for the use of cutlery: "coperto." Apparently, that's a thing in Italy, so it's good to know.

28/07/2025: Fandt dette sted via Tripadvisor. Ligger ude i ingenting og ikke et sted, du bare ville finde. Venlig betjening og fantastisk mad!! Vi fik hovedret og dessert samt sodavand og vand. 4 personer. Det blev 900 dk kr.

09/05/2025: As the reviews indicate, the food was excellent. It is a small restaurant, maximum 15 people. That should be doable, but preparing such excellent food and serving your guests is difficult when you are alone. Normally there are two of them, but because it was a quiet evening, our host was alone. After us, 4 more guests arrived and our host was so "busy" with them that it seemed as if he had completely lost sight of us. After a tasty starter and excellent main course, we would have liked a desert and another coffee, but in the end we didn't wait for that. When we put on our coat he came to ask if we wanted to order anything, but we declined. It was bad luck that we just found an evening when things turned out the way they did. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit and wishes everyone a better overall experience.

09/08/2025: Always a guarantee! A very well-kept place with enchanting views of both the sea and the mountains. The menu offers both meat and seafood. Excellent quality and beautiful presentation. This year, I found the prices higher than last year. In my opinion, a little too high.

16/08/2025: Elegant atmosphere, with the owner and his staff providing exceptional professionalism. Fresh seafood dishes are impeccably cooked, enhanced by the creativity of the young, highly skilled chef Simone. The wine list is superb. Highly recommended in Viareggio.

11/08/2025: Elegant restaurant, carefully furnished, you are welcomed with great professionalism, dishes where the high-quality of the raw materials used prevail, excellent even the fillet, fine wine list, even a glass of Sassicaia 2017 offered by the owner... with dessert two glasses of Moscato are offered and even a 30 euro discount at the register. Michelin star immediately.

05/08/2025: A dream for anyone with celiac disease. It's a shame there's nothing like this in Germany. The doughs taste perfect, sometimes even better than regular doughs. Definitely a must-try.

26/07/2025: Salimos a pie de Vitiana con nuestros amigos, nos acercamos y descubrimos esta pequeña joya que nos dio la bienvenida a los pies de una iglesia. Un lugar acogedor con un servicio amable. Los anfitriones son dedicados y preparados. La camarera, cuyo nombre lamentablemente desconozco, es increíblemente paciente y amable. Si quieres cenar aquí, tienes que reservar con antelación, pero es posible que puedas sentarte y cenar. Esto es más probable entre semana. Recomiendo de corazón el lugar a todo el mundo. IT es una verdadera sensación toscana cenar aquí.

17/08/2025: "DINNER AT FRIENDS' HOUSE" MARCO and SERENA welcome you to their Home Restaurant, which is what it is in every way. You eat what's available, and there is plenty of it. You're welcomed with familiar simplicity and food prepared as if it were a family dinner with friends. It's plentiful, from appetizers to dessert, to homemade digestifs, the classic tordelli, but not quite, homemade but refined without too much spice and without Mortadella, becoming gentle, a great alternative. But one thing above all: the tranquility, the silence, the absence of hustle and bustle. The restaurant is in an area outside Camaiore, where greenery reigns supreme, and you can feel it. In these days of oppressive heat, we were finally able to enjoy some fresh air. You park on the lawn in the large garden, climb a few steps, and you reach the outdoor tables on the designated terrace. It's something that is priceless these days. So, in short, THANK YOU MARCO AND SERENA. WE WILL DEFINITELY SEE YOU AGAIN.

16/08/2025: We visited this Tuscan trattoria and had a truly excellent experience. The cured meats are excellent, the prosciutto crudo sausage...unforgettable, high-quality, and authentic. The homemade tordelli with veal ragù are simply exceptional, rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. Also worth trying are the gnocchi with dormant mushrooms and creamed potatoes, an original and well-balanced dish. Among the main courses, the chicken and ribs deserve a special mention: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. A place that combines tradition and authenticity with truly unforgettable dishes. Highly recommended! And I forgot...the waters of Međugorje...

But what truly made the evening special was the owner: he took the time to explain everything in a warm, passionate, and typically Italian manner, as if we were in a small trattoria tucked away in the heart of Rome or Florence. His personal attention, enthusiasm, and love for good food and hospitality were palpable. It's one of those places where you immediately feel welcome, and where passion for food and culture is at the heart of everything. An authentic and unforgettable experience—highly recommended!

07/08/2025: We were 10 meters away at a B&B, parking is an adventure and the owner of the restaurant is quite grumpy and annoying about parking and the space between the cars, so you can hardly get away without damage.

Massima la cortesia dello staff, eccezionale la qualità del cibo. Tradizione, Territorio e rispetto della ricetta e della materia prima. Sempre un piacere tornare! A presto!

13/08/2025: I really enjoyed eating good fried fish made on the boat, a really special place

11/08/2025: When we're in the area, we stop in Viareggio specifically to stroll around and order fried calamari and shrimp alla barchina (a traditional fish dish)—in my opinion, the best. The fried food, besides being tasty (delicious, I'd say), is dry (not greasy), crispy, pale, and the shrimp are already peeled. Plus, it's also affordable: €10 for a generous portion, which would be fine for a snack for two, but then you can never resist the temptation and order one each anyway. Obviously, there's no table service... or rather, it doesn't have any tables at all because it's a small boat moored along the canal, serving express food... but this is a strong point in my opinion: you order, wait, pick up your nice takeout box (open and ready to go with a toothpick and a lemon wedge), and then you're free to enjoy it while sitting on the wall in front, along the pier, strolling along the avenue, or, better yet, watching the sunset by the sea. What more could you ask for?! The only thing that could be improved in my opinion is the communication of the opening hours: it says it's open continuously from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, but I've arrived mid-afternoon and missed it. Otherwise, highly recommended. I wish there were more places like this, where you can still enjoy good street food at fair prices. Congratulations!

18/07/2025: I'd already been to the restaurant for dinner. I returned to try the pizza, which is cooked in cast iron pans. It's reminiscent of pan pizza, but not fried on the bottom; I think they just use a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Top-quality ingredients and excellent wait staff.

12/07/2025: What a breath of fresh air! After two disappointing restaurants, this was truly a wonderful experience. The pasta was delicious – perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The wine was a perfect match; a true delight. The service also deserves a compliment: friendly, attentive, and with an eye for detail. And then there's the lovely background music – subtle and atmospheric. In short: highly recommended. We will definitely be back! 👌🍝🍷
