11/11/2025: Highly recommended restaurant. Excellent food, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location with ample outdoor parking. Truly excellent quality! It's important to book in advance, as it's almost always full.
07/11/2025: A lovely restaurant where you can enjoy excellent dishes. I would have liked to give it 5 stars for the food, but I'll give it 4 because, unfortunately, the seafood risotto was salty. The appetizer and dessert were exquisite. You can taste the quality of the ingredients used.
On-site parking is available.

02/12/2025: A friend recommended this place to us. When we arrived, we thought we'd made the wrong choice, as it looks like it's in a semi-industrial area. But once inside, we knew we were in the right place. The interior is lovely, ideal for family lunches and dinners, but also for couples. The staff is very friendly, and the service is fairly quick and attentive (despite the busy weekends). The food is very good, with a truly perfect wine! The necci with ricotta for dessert are also truly special. The price is reasonable. Definitely worth returning.

02/11/2025: Spent two nights with my partner. The service was friendly and impeccable, from the welcome to the housekeeping, to the dinner (which was excellent). Ample parking was available. Since it was autumn, we weren't able to experience the typical summer amenities. We'll definitely try to return!

26/09/2025: I've only tried lunch on workdays. It's a great place; the food is quick and the quality is good. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. A full lunch costs €13! I'd say it's more than fair. I recommend it.
23/09/2025: From the outside, I didn't think it was so nice inside. However... It's a nice and welcoming place, and the food is really good, both the fish and meat menus. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

21/10/2025: We discovered this restaurant thanks to The Fork and promised ourselves we'd return. We ate really well: balanced flavors, adequate portions, and a good variety. The restaurant, with its charming interior, offers just the right number of dishes, with a choice of meat and fish. The owners are impeccably authentic and friendly. Prices are fair. Two appetizers, two main courses, two desserts, water, and prosecco: €88 (with The Fork discount).

Tourist trap. You can find better value for money.
22/11/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Lory and the entire staff were incredibly friendly, the place reminded me of my grandparents' house 😊 and the food was fantastic 👏🏾👏🏾.
The Chianina tartare was excellent and the Fratoiana soup, a Lucca specialty, was delicious.

05/10/2025: Fantastic restaurant - the best food we had in Viareggio! The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, we were treated to a glass of fizz on arrival and the portions were great. A must visit if you’re in the area!

02/12/2025: My go-to restaurant in Lucca. Traditional cuisine with excellent quality ingredients. The waiters provide superb service, and the owner is very attentive and friendly. A must-visit when you're in Lucca or the surrounding area. I highly recommend La Bistecca. We'll definitely be back!
