03/01/2026: The dishes at Locanda Buatino are so good, so true to Lucca's culinary tradition, and so beautifully served, that I returned for dinner several times during the same stay in Lucca. Near the city walls, you'll find this welcoming, spacious, well-furnished, and warm inn, with two young men ready to welcome and serve you, so knowledgeable and cheerful that you'll leave feeling satisfied. Satisfied with the food, certainly, but also with the satisfaction of seeing those who love doing their job with passion and kindness. Thank you!

13/12/2025: First time at this delightful osteria in the center of Lucca Informal but refined atmosphere The menu features meat and fish dishes, but is not very extensive The creamy chestnut risotto with wood pigeon ragù is very good The fried brain brings back memories of the past. The wine list is interesting and reasonably priced. The service is polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

09/01/2026: Very kind, delicious meat. As campers, we took a short detour to Camaiore based on the wonderful reviews, and we were not disappointed. We purchased a 1.5 kg Chianina steak, wonderful, which literally melted in our mouths once cooked! We thank the lady for welcoming our two curious children with such kindness (and meatballs). 🥰 Highly recommended.

07/01/2026: I'm from Viareggio, where there are countless pizzerias and I've tried so many, but... this one takes the top spot. 🥇 I've never licked my fingers so thoroughly after eating a pizza. Not thick, not thin. Not flabby, not dry. Not too greasy, not too dry. Well-seasoned and with good ingredients. In short... perfect! 🍕 Very kind staff and exceptional pizza. In short, very good. 👏🏻 Thanks to my girlfriend for introducing me to this place. ☺️

01/01/2026: The best New Year's Eve party we've had in recent years. Delicious food, excellent wines, and wonderful service. Last night, both the company at the table and the restaurant were wonderful. We arrived at 11:45 without even realizing it. I recommend this place to everyone. Nicola Bonuccelli (table booked at Romolo).

22/10/2025: Good pizzas and calzones! Very good value, the staff was nice and friendly, they do not speak English very much, so just be prepared to communicate with them.

05/10/2025: Fantastic restaurant - the best food we had in Viareggio! The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, we were treated to a glass of fizz on arrival and the portions were great. A must visit if you’re in the area!

12/12/2025: For a dear friend's birthday, we were fortunate enough to dine at this wonderful restaurant. The setting is refined, impeccably clean, and meticulously maintained. The atmosphere is magical, accompanied by light, relaxing background music. The impeccable welcome is evident from the moment you enter: the entire staff, without exception, is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to every guest's needs. The cuisine literally blew us away: a wide-ranging and well-balanced selection of seafood and meat, using the highest-quality ingredients. We chose the Hearts Tasting Menu, which proved to be a sublime experience from appetizer to dessert. I highly recommend their signature dish, Bavette sul pesce, which is simply extraordinary. The wine list is also noteworthy, with a truly excellent selection. Special thanks to Matteo for his valuable and timely advice on choosing wines, and to Chiara, who made us feel right at home. I have no negatives to report: the Lorenzo Restaurant in Forte dei Marmi is an institution and fully deserves its fame.
