05/08/2026: I went to this place for dinner. Parking is limited, so it's best to arrive by motorbike. The village is very pretty, and the view from the veranda is breathtaking. We had the appetizer, tordelli, maltagliati with mushrooms, and two portions of fried mushrooms: everything was delicious! The mushrooms were clearly fresh, and the portions were super generous! The tiramisu for dessert was also noteworthy. Excellent value for money, and the service was friendly and quick. We'll definitely be back!

31/07/2026: Today, July 30, 2026, we had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant. We enjoyed excellent porcini mushrooms prepared in every way: sautéed, fried, with maltagliati sauce, and roasted with an excellent "tagliata." We weren't expecting to find them this season, but the manager managed to accommodate us. A delight for quality, service, and price. Thank you. 👍👋

13/08/2026: A very elegant and refined restaurant, where we chose to try the chef's tasting menu. We particularly appreciated the presence of the chef in the dining room, especially at the beginning of the service, so we could choose together the menu best suited to our evening. We opted for a mixed menu, mostly fish, with a meat main course. Everything was truly delicious, from the appetizers to the first courses. The spaghetti with sea urchins was undoubtedly my favorite. If I had to find a small flaw, perhaps the duck breast was a bit overcooked, but otherwise everything was excellent, including desserts. Very attentive, polite, and professional service, and a truly refined atmosphere. A very pleasant experience, we will definitely be back!

19/07/2026: We had a fantastic meal here with our two children in a quiet little alleyway, enjoying the shade – the Tuscan bread soup was sensational, as were the ravioli with ricotta and spinach, the tagliatelle with meat sauce or beef meatballs, and the squid dish. Delicious olive oil from Massarosa was served with the bread and was also available for purchase. Our host – half-Italian, having grown up in Germany – was very attentive, friendly, and warm, and the rest of the team was also incredibly nice. We felt very comfortable, thank you so much!

08/07/2026: I came to Pietrasanta primarily to visit the Mitoraj Museum. Before getting there, however, I went to the main square by the Duomo, had a wonderful aperitivo, and had dinner in a truly wonderful place! You welcomed me with extraordinary warmth and hospitality, and, equally importantly, delicious food, for which I am very grateful. Only then did I set off to see the museum. What's more, it's open until 11:00 PM :)

24/07/2026: We were tempted by the positive reviews on Tripadvisor and weren't disappointed at all. The place is quiet, well-kept, airy, and simply delightful. The pizza is truly delicious! Quality ingredients and a light, crispy dough. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Perfect for both families and couples. We'll be back soon!

20/07/2026: Nutella and mascarpone focaccia... €15 is too expensive, but it also has very little filling...the Nutella is still in the jar!

27/07/2026: Everything was perfect, the food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable, in line with the quality of the ingredients. We had fish, and the maltagliati and the pan were outstanding. We'll be back to try the meat menu as well. Highly recommended.

26/07/2026: A 5-star restaurant! Good food, friendly and professional staff, magnificent atmosphere. A little oasis in the hills where you can relax while drinking excellent wines and eating good food. And then the value for money...perhaps the best in Versilia in this regard!

30/07/2026: Beautiful place: we ate in the garden, which is beautifully kept and beautiful, complete with a fan; the restaurant also provided fans if needed. Everything was very clean. Friendly staff. The food was good, but not exceptional. Convenient and spacious parking.

11/08/2026: A pleasant discovery in Pietrasanta. La Mariposa Gastronomia-Ristorante is a simple and welcoming place where you can eat well without spending too much. I really appreciated the convenience of the parking, a detail that is far from a given, and the presence of a restroom, which makes stopping in even more convenient. The prices are truly affordable and allow you to eat in peace without sacrificing quality. A casual, comfortable, and pleasant place, ideal for a break without too many pretensions but with a good quality-price ratio. I would gladly return.

19/05/2026: Excellent pizzeria; all the ingredients we tried were top-quality and well-cooked. The appetizers were well-fried, leaving no grease on your hands, and the pizza was cooked to perfection, with plenty of toppings and flavor. The atmosphere was simple and elegant. The service was fast, attentive, and helpful. The price was reasonable: for two, we spent €44. Definitely worth a try! We'll definitely be back, even though we live half an hour from Lucca.

17/05/2026: The location is fantastic, right on a beautiful square with a lovely atmosphere. There was a singer performing and an antique market taking place, which made it especially enjoyable to sit outside in the sun and soak everything in. The aperitivo was good, and the staff was pleasant. The food, however, was disappointing and quite overpriced for the quality offered. I don’t regret trying, but considering the incredible food scene in this city, there are definitely better options available.

To start, we ordered a mixed antipasto platter of delicious crostini and an excellent selection of local cured meats. The quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite, thanks to the rustic, traditional, and top-notch flavors. For my first course, I chose homemade tortelli with ragù. A dish that speaks for itself, with expertly rolled pasta and a rich filling, enhanced by a full-bodied, flavorful ragù that captures all the warmth of home cooking. A true delight. To crown the evening, we couldn't help but order the queen of Tuscan cuisine: the Florentine steak. The cooking was impeccable, resulting in tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked meat, with flavorful, top-quality meat that melted in your mouth. The restaurant is welcoming and quaint, enhanced by a warm atmosphere and friendly, professional service that makes you feel right at home. If you're looking for excellent traditional dishes, generous portions, and a memorable Florentine steak, this is the place to be. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to return!
