19/05/2026: My rating depends on my dinner experience: the owners, who are undoubtedly welcoming and passionate, describe the place and the dishes very well. The food, however, remains, in my opinion, just above average in taste and presentation. The service is very slow, and some dishes arrived a bit cold.
It's still a nice place for an evening with friends.
18/05/2026: We happened upon this charming restaurant on Saturday for lunch. Owner Stefania and her husband run the restaurant with care, passion, and a whole lot of love. We sat down expecting to have a platter and a plate of pasta for our son, but luckily, we were persuaded to try other dishes. All truly delicious.
The Chianti tuna is a must-try, as are their desserts.
But whatever Stefania recommends, trust me, you won't regret it.

12/04/2026: A comfortable place to watch spectacular sunsets. Kindness and friendliness are complemented by a menu dedicated to meat lovers; cured meats and cheeses make all the difference. The 1.2kg steak was the star.

23/12/2025: Julia was an excellent host and very knowledgeable. Even thought it was a rainy cold day, Julia made us feel right at home with the wine tasting and meet/cheese tray. it is a rather small vineyard, but that is exactly what we were looking for. Exceed all expectations and would highly recommend.

16/05/2026: The food at Osteria Miranda is truly delicious, with original and delicious combinations!
Unfortunately, the only downside was the service. We were a slightly larger table, and the waiter asked us to order identical dishes, but given the vastness and deliciousness of the menu, we didn't. His reaction wasn't very polite, with plenty of ironic jokes, well... no way!
Despite this, we had a lovely evening, and it's a place I recommend.
07/05/2026: An elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. We opted for the chef's suggested menu: a succession of delightful discoveries and excellent products. A coherent gastronomic journey, yet one that's open to the needs of each guest. The tartare is sublime, the meatballs a touch of the heart. An experience that expands and enriches you. Hats off.

13/05/2026: During my vacation in Viareggio, I discovered the Salumeria Triglia butcher shop/salumeria, and it was a wonderful surprise. From the moment you walk in, the enticing aroma of fresh, authentic products makes you want to try everything. The shop was spotless and impeccably maintained.
The waitresses were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling. We even got to sample a piece of cheese and a slice of ham. The ham was so delicious that I had to buy a piece before leaving! This place definitely made a highlight of my trip and makes me even more eager to return to Viareggio on my next vacation. I highly recommend this salumeria to anyone visiting the city!
31/03/2026: Excellent delicatessen. Just look at the counter and smell the aromas as you walk in. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Refined and delicious products. I highly recommend it. Always top-notch.

27/03/2026: Excellent gelato!!! The only advice I can give to anyone reading this—and to the shop's manager—is that those who, like many others, suffer from perfume allergies may have problems when coming in for gelato. It would be wise not to use that much perfume in an gelato shop.

01/06/2026: I don't know what all the hype is about! The ice cream was really nothing special, one of the most boring things we've had on our trip so far (and we've tried the more unusual flavors!). On top of that, it was by far (!) the smallest ice cream in the Piccolo size we've had, and it came in a barely edible, poorly made cone. We definitely wouldn't go back here!
01/06/2026: Delicious ice cream, especially the Mille e uma Notte! 3 scoops for 4 euros. Super friendly lady at the counter. I'll definitely be back.

19/05/2026: After a hike on Monte Croce, we stopped for an aperitif in this paradise. It's a truly fantastic place, well-kept and welcoming. The owner is kind in a way that's unfortunately rare nowadays! You can feel the love and passion she puts into her work in her words and see it in her eyes! We only had a plate of crostini and cheeses, but it was worth it! We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

But the food was delicious!
19/05/2026: Excellent pizzeria; all the ingredients we tried were top-quality and well-cooked.
The appetizers were well-fried, leaving no grease on your hands, and the pizza was cooked to perfection, with plenty of toppings and flavor.
The atmosphere was simple and elegant. The service was fast, attentive, and helpful.
The price was reasonable: for two, we spent €44.
Definitely worth a try! We'll definitely be back, even though we live half an hour from Lucca.
