01/04/2026: Excellent food, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff. The portions aren't large, but they're excellent. Try the black truffle tartare and the soups, which are both delicious and unique. The prices are a bit high for some dishes, but the experience is definitely positive.

21/03/2026: Very nice atmosphere. The dishes are very well prepared and delicious. The owner, who I believe served the tables, was very kind and helpful. A must-visit next time in Garfagnana.

23/02/2026: Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! Booking in advance is recommended. It was the best pasta of my life. We came here twice , tried different meals too. Table setting and ambience was very nice and welcoming. Service was outstanding and very professional. We have really enjoyed our dinner time here, I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Even thought it was a rainy cold day, Julia made us feel right at home with the wine tasting and meet/cheese tray. it is a rather small vineyard, but that is exactly what we were looking for. Exceed all expectations and would highly recommend.

04/01/2026: Evening with friends. A very warm and welcoming rustic location. Friendly staff. They welcomed us with bruschetta with wild tomatoes. We ordered/ate: very good appetizers (farmer's cheese, pickles, olives, cold cuts, cheeses, flan and panzanella/fried coccoli) and a truly fragrant, flavorful, and well-topped pizza. All accompanied by beer (carafe/artisanal bottles), water, coffee, limoncello/amaro, also offered by the staff. A truly wonderful discovery. Excellent value. We will definitely be back to try the main courses. Reservations recommended.

22/12/2025: The location is really lovely and charming. I only had takeout pizza, which was good and had a wide variety of ingredients. The staff, all of them, were kind and helpful. I made a reservation, and they were very punctual and attentive.

04/11/2025: Discovered during Lucca Comics and Games, it was a lifesaver. They had Tuscan focaccia available in various flavors, a few combinations with drinks, and specials for the following days (from the third day of the fair onward, unfortunately I didn't have time to try them). Everything was delicious, and the place and the restrooms were very tidy and clean.

06/04/2026: Hilltop village, parking is a 10-minute walk from the restaurant, following the village mule track all the way uphill. A small but charming village, the restaurant is within the village, a house renovated as a restaurant, probably because from the outside it looks like a common home, but once you enter, you realize you've come to the right place. The view immediately catches your eye: the first two rooms on the ground floor are set up with tables and sea views. The waiter leads the way. You go up to the third terrace on the first floor, passing through the second room on the left, where you'll find a steep staircase with narrow steps but a handrail, also offering a beautiful view. The rustic-style tables give the setting a unique feel. Meat-based menu, limited selection, some dishes were missing. The food is good, although the peppers in the appetizer were very salty. The house appetizer included a platter of cured meats, crostini, and a vegetable tart, plus pickled vegetables for €14. A very good ravioli with meat sauce was €14. Finally, a dessert cost €6, plus water, about €40 per person. The place is clean and well-kept. It's worth it, but bring comfortable, flat shoes.

27/03/2026: Excellent gelato!!! The only advice I can give to anyone reading this—and to the shop's manager—is that those who, like many others, suffer from perfume allergies may have problems when coming in for gelato. It would be wise not to use that much perfume in an gelato shop.

22/03/2026: The hospitality, cuisine, and service were truly top-notch. My wife and I had the fish dishes for lunch and found them delicious. I recommend finishing with dessert; we loved the meringue pavlova. Compliments to Mr. Lorenzo's daughter for how she manages the restaurant. I'd also like to add that I found her to be very friendly, as was the rest of the staff. We'll definitely be back.

22/03/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience. I was encouraged by the positive reviews to try this restaurant for lunch, even without a reservation and knowing I might have to wait or not get a seat. I arrived at 1:45 PM and politely requested a table for two, either inside or outside. I was told to wait while they checked availability, which I readily accepted, as I wasn't in a rush. After a few minutes, I informed another waitress of my request again, but received no update. Meanwhile, several customers with reservations were seated, which is completely understandable. However, three local women arrived without reservations and were seated before me; the same happened shortly afterward to another couple, also without reservations, but who were acquaintances of the restaurant. After about 25 minutes of standing, and seeing people in my situation being served first, I decided to leave. I had the feeling that, without being regulars or "locals," you're being left behind. A treatment that I found unwelcoming and unprofessional.
