The quality of the meat is superior, everything is wonderful from the entrée that is different every evening to the desserts made to perfection as tradition dictates, passing through the vast selection of "meat". If you pass through Lucca, this is the right place to come and eat meat.

18/06/2025: During a midweek lunch break, I stopped at the Pucci butcher shop, run by Luca, with the idea of ​​grabbing a quick bite. I was absolutely not expecting what I found: a true taste experience. As soon as I entered, I was greeted with a smile by Luca, who in addition to being an expert butcher, is also a perfect host. You can immediately see that he loves his job: the care in the service, the selection of meats, and that authentic passion that makes even the simplest moment of the day special. For lunch, a spectacular steak awaited me – cooked to perfection, tasty, tender, juicy. The kind that makes you forget that you are only there for a work break. It seemed to have come straight from a Sunday barbecue in the countryside, but with a level of quality and attention that are rarely found even in the most renowned restaurants. The place is simple, genuine, without frills: just how I like it. Here the protagonist is the meat, and nothing else is needed. What can I say? A true marvel. If you are in Lucca and want to eat well, authentically and with heart, stop by Luca alla Macelleria Pucci. Even just for a steak during your lunch break… it will remain in your memory.

11/06/2025: En general, recomiendo este restaurante a pesar de que no sumó los cinco perfectos. Situado fuera de las murallas de Lucca, es sin duda fuera de los caminos trillados, y probablemente necesite un coche para llegar. El menú fue una muy buena prueba de ser original. La presentación fue puntual y el sabor fue muy bueno en general. Lo recomiendo como un buen descanso de la comida típica italiana. Aunque no estoy seguro de si vale la pena.

10/06/2025: Situado en la plaza de la ciudadela de Lucca, el Tosca ocupa un lugar destacado. Pedimos parmigiana y carbonara y cada plato fue disfrutado inmensamente. Las bebidas también eran excelentes y la calidad de la comida era igualada por la excelencia del clima. Lucca es un lugar especial y seleccionamos una parada de almuerzo de primera clase.

04/06/2025: One of my favorite restaurants when I am in Italy. Both inside and outside in the garden is really pleasant to sit, also due to the countryside landscape. And the food is as usual amazing. The fish crudo is a must have, but also the grilled branzino with veggies and potatoes was very tasty! And finally kudos to the sommelier who recommended a delicious cold Pinot Nero to accompany!

19/06/2025: A grandiose building on a newly revamped piazza in the centre of Bagni di Lucca. Truly delicious three course meal at bargain price. Lovely friendly staff, great service and beautiful piazza and fountain. Generous portions of wonderful food so make sure you are hungry to get the most out of this Tuscan experience! Not to be missed.

14/06/2025: Hey eten was heerlijk en heel betaalbaar. Maar als je rustig wilt eten moet je daar niet zijn. Het plein voor de pizzeria wordt gebruikt als dumpplaats voor luidruchtige Italiaanse kinderen waarvan de ouders aan de wijn zijn en niet opletten. Wat een herrie. De kinderen fietsen gewoon om de tafels heen.

07/06/2025: nous y sommes allés 2 fois avec mon époux repas délicieux, goutteux, service agréable, rapide,efficace. choix des vins exceptionnels tout était parfait, malheureusement nous quittons la région demain sinon nous aurions tenté une 3ème expérience.

08/06/2025: We had dinner at Sementis to celebrate my birthday! A truly perfect experience! We booked through the website with extreme ease, and we chose the internal Child Free garden. An enchanting place. Impeccable service, very kind and fast staff. We chose traditional dishes and were surprised by an incredible taste. Not to mention the desserts, beautiful and delicious! We will definitely be back next time!

11/06/2025: When your Italian friends tell you that this is the best Italian pizza you'll ever eat, you better believe them. Husband and wife run this small 7 or so table pizzeria. They had other delicious looking dishes too, that I can't pronounce. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and there wasn't a crumb left on anyone's plate! Reservations are advised!

25/05/2025: Everything was simply amazing. I had one of the best pizzas here (at least in our entire group), and the staff was so friendly. So perfect that we're all going back again right away.

02/05/2025: We went to dinner having just arrived in Tuscany and everything was perfect. The hamburgers and the charcuterie boards, truly delicious. They are not cheap, it is true, but the prices have gone crazy everywhere. The service, first class, great attention. And, furthermore, they are rock and roll brothers, ha ha. I highly recommend this place.
