27/11/2025: We had dinner and ordered two pinsa. The dough was very good. The waitress messed up one order, but she was very kind and fixed it right away by having the pinsa remade. The gluten-free and lactose-free options were excellent.

03/11/2025: The pinza is very good, and there are also interesting variations for those who aren't traditional (always margherita, preferably with mushrooms). For example, a friend of ours had the pinza with kebab, and it was beautiful to look at and a great pairing. The atmosphere is simple and intimate, perfect for a Saturday night. Excellent beer selection, and good value.

12/01/2026: We stumbled upon this pastry shop by chance. What can I say? We returned three days in a row, sometimes twice a day. The pastries are delicious and of excellent quality (you can taste the raw ingredients). I recommend the enormous chocolate baci di dama, the cannoli, and everything related to meringue (I admit I wasn't crazy about meringue, but this one is truly top-notch). Also try the braided brioche they make—a real treat. The lady who served us was very kind.

08/01/2026: A busy pastry shop, less crowded than its counterparts, but still offering free seating daily. Excellent selection of pastries and savory treats. Friendly staff. I recommend it.

The atmosphere and decor were well thought out, and the staff were very friendly! We'll definitely be back to try the meat menu.

07/12/2025: An excellent seafood restaurant. Excellent value for money. The only thing to note about the menu is that it's not very varied. We've been dining at Trinchetto quite frequently for several years, but the dishes have remained virtually unchanged. The restaurant is small but well-maintained.

29/01/2026: A truly pleasant place... the pizza is thin and crispy, with a light and well-rolled dough... the ingredients are fresh and high-quality... even though it was born as a take-away pizzeria, it is possible to eat in thanks to a few tables, perfect for a quick but tasty break... the service is excellent, friendly and fast... a simple but well-kept pizzeria, ideal both for take-away and for eating a good pizza on the spot.

19/02/2026: A pleasant, accidental discovery along the road leading to Fornaci di Barga. A classic Tuscan trattoria, but with a very welcoming and well-decorated dining room. A complete fixed menu with a choice of four first courses, a second course, and two side dishes, including water, for €12. Home-style cooking, well-made, with generous portions. The house wine and tiramisu were good. A pleasant atmosphere, lots of smiles and friendliness. We didn't have time to try the à la carte menu, which is full of local dishes... I'll have the chance next time. I didn't take photos because I was hungry.

22/11/2025: Now I feel like home!! I've been in Lucca for weeks for work. A passerby recommended this bar-restaurant to us (thank goodness!!). The place is welcoming, warm, and clean, and the food offers a wide selection of first courses, second courses, and side dishes—homemade. And then there's Fede, always smiling, and her "ciaooo" when you walk in changes your day!! Highly recommended! P.S. Fede makes the best cappuccino in Lucca!!

23/02/2026: We chose the maximum 9-course menu. I don't know if it was because there were only a few of us in the restaurant or if it should be counted differently, but we must have tasted about twenty items and left feeling full. Some were very good (bark, savory crème brûlée, salted crème caramel, artichoke, tortellini), some were more anonymous (the fish soups at the beginning), and some I personally didn't like. Specifically, some dishes (e.g., spaghetti with Versilian pesto) used helichrysum, which has a very distinctive flavor. And yesterday I discovered that I don't like helichrysum. In general, there are many dishes that lean toward the bitterness. My wife, who chose the gluten-free menu, had a spectacular bread. At the end, the chef came out and lingered for a very pleasant conversation. If you were spending €100 each, it would be highly recommended. We spent €340 for two with two glasses of regular sparkling wine. In my opinion it's too much
