21/06/2026: I was in the area for work and was looking for a quiet place to eat a good steak. And I was really lucky! Excellent little restaurant with excellent meat and friendly, fast service. It's a shame I can't go back more often!

19/06/2026: We must have arrived on the wrong night... We made a reservation, but were still told we'd have to wait longer than usual for the pizza. Okay, not a big deal, but with small children, it can become a problem. But then... 1- half the pizzas were burned, probably because the pizza chef (whom we could see from our table) also had to add cold ingredients to the pizzas and couldn't keep an eye on the ones in the oven. 2- the arugula on the pizza was covered in black mold spots. 3- expecting friendliness and a smile from the wait staff and the likely owner, is that too much to ask?

03/07/2026: We have been coming here for 2 days now to eat something tasty with a delicious Cappuccino 🫠 Plenty of choices in pastries, spacious terrace, friendly staff, lots of locals, reasonable prices, and above all, really cozy!

28/02/2026: One of the most delicious pizzerias in the area. Pizzas for every taste and color. Made with fresh ingredients. And the pizzas aren't small—they don't skimp on ingredients. The service is high-quality and fast. You don't have to wait for all the takeout pizzas, and then the dining room takes priority, and only then the takeout. There's an indoor dining area (for the winter) and a garden (for the summer), and both are cozy, showing the owner has put a lot of effort into it. Parking is available, both private and public, so you can always find a spot.

02/01/2026: The restaurant is located away from the main tourist areas. It's small and rather unassuming. The food was very good and the service was very friendly. When we visited, there was only one table left, and otherwise the restaurant was exclusively filled with Italian customers.

01/08/2026: The atmosphere was great, but the value for money was mediocre. For starters, tomato bruschetta; it was burnt. The food was certainly not refined. For the main course, beef fillet, a small portion for too much money. The bread was homemade but was served as large chunks, without olive oil or anything similar. I consider it an overrated restaurant.

31/07/2026: The location is lovely and the tables are great. However, the food was a mixed bag: the steak, tomato salad, and ragout were all excellent. On the other hand, the rabbit was completely dry, and the spare ribs were tough, overcooked, and extremely salty. The fries were also unbearably salty. In a whole week traveling around Lucca, we didn't encounter any other food that was so oversalted – a real shame, because, as the successful dishes demonstrate, the chef is clearly capable. The one arrogant server was also disappointing. When we pointed out that several dishes were oversalted, the only response was a curt "we'll pass it on to the chef" – but we were still charged full price for everything. It's a pity about the beautiful ambiance, but there's a clear need for improvement in both service and consistency in the kitchen.

11/04/2026: We were invited for a birthday party. The place was very nice, but nothing spectacular. The staff was professional and attentive. The dishes were superb, beautifully prepared and made with quality ingredients. The wine list was excellent.

I don't know when I'll be back in Viareggio, but soon anyway, and now that I've met you, I'll definitely pop in. I had focaccia with stracchino and sausage, and you could lick the box for a bit longer 🤣🤣🤣🤣

31/05/2026: Awesome place. Lots of different pizzas. They charge by weight. The pizzas are briefly put back in the oven. They're very crispy and delicious. It's a chain with several locations. Always worth a visit.

21/06/2026: Arriving at the place from the outside I was tempted to leave... anonymous and in a decentralized location. As soon as we opened the entrance door it was magical. The place is small but very well-kept. The furnishings and table are truly unique and beautiful. The place is very clean and pleasant. Federico, discreet and competent, welcomed us, pampered us and recommended very special wines. The dishes that arrived from the kitchen quickly were unique and very tasty, but with extraordinary flavor and very unique. Presented with great care. The welcome cuddles made the experience truly pleasant. The bitters were appreciated and the desserts were truly delicious. Well done guys, you are worthy of applause. Keep it up, don't disappoint anyone, on the contrary, continue to surprise us!
