The atmosphere is very pleasant, typical of a tavern, and the staff is friendly and attentive to their needs. The food is high-quality; we enjoyed the tagliatelle with mutton ragù, and we also ate a good steak accompanied by a good wine from a local winery. It was a pleasant evening, and we'll definitely be back.

A classic village trattoria, everything is well-maintained without the pretension of mimicking Michelin-starred restaurants. The menu is simple, carefully crafted, and very Tuscan. The restaurant has a beautiful dining room with stone walls, beams and rafters in the ceiling, and a lovely fireplace. The service is prompt, friendly, and helpful. The menu features traditional Tuscan dishes, plenty of substance and few frills. The two of us had a mixed antipasto, Lucca trodelli with ragù, a grilled chicken, roast potatoes, water, wine, dessert, and coffee. For a very fair bill of €54. If you want to eat well, without the frills of chefs and modern cuisine, with refined dishes but without excess, this is the place to be.

Monday lunch for four. We had a sampling of soup and todelli, followed by a 2kg steak served with baked beans, potatoes, and cooked vegetables. Everything was excellent and carefully prepared. Both the owner and the service staff were very friendly. It was a wonderful experience. We had a great time, and I've booked for Saturday evening. I highly recommend this place for excellent cuisine, and the price is reasonable for the quality of the ingredients.
