07/09/2025: I booked through TheFork and was contacted by the manager to cancel and make the reservation directly with him. He would have given me a small discount. We were a group of about ten people, some of whom were from abroad and accustomed to high-quality dishes. I recommend trying a typical Tuscan dish, ribollita. I've never eaten something so bland, I felt ashamed as if I'd cooked it myself. Those who ordered the appetizers with Colonnata lardo were satisfied. Those who ordered the spaghetti with scampi described their dishes as average. The service was attentive, but it didn't make up for the quality of the dishes. When it came time to pay, I felt cheated. I wanted to buy lunch, but I couldn't pay by credit card because the POS wasn't working. Not having enough cash and the impossibility of finding an ATM in the pouring rain outside, I was forced to take up a collection. We got the promised discount because we didn't have the requested total. This is definitely not the image I wanted to convey of Tuscan restaurants. What a shame!

09/07/2025: We came for lunch yesterday. They had us sit outside, and each table had a flower, and I have to say I really liked that! Welcoming place. We ordered the Antipasto Del Pozzo, a truffle-filled fillet steak with roasted potatoes, a tagliata with rustic fries, a green spring ravioli, roasted fries, coffee, water, and wine. Good value for what we got. Overall, it's good.

19/07/2025: Bar, pizzeria, ristorante. Riesce a soddisfare tutti. Personale gentile, sorridente e attento, ti mette subito a tuo agio. La piazzetta all'aperto è accogliente, con un bel verde curato. Ottime le pizze, con i diversi impasti, ma anche tutto il resto. Bistecca, dolci, insalate stuzzicanti. E la focaccetta iniziale....che dire, superlativa!! Consiglio per una serata al fresco. Ah, dimenticavo, la piazzetta è sempre fresca, anche nelle serate afose. Noi ci andiamo spessissimo.

06/06/2025: I have already been to this place several times and for me it is the best in the Lucca-Capannori area. First of all, the interiors where the green color prevails already convey a sense of great calm and the atmosphere is welcoming, you feel at home. The quality of the food (the photos speak for themselves) is excellent and the staff is made up of a few people who, however, take great care of every detail; this can sometimes cause a little slowness in the service but when the dishes arrive you understand that it is really worth it. If you want to eat well and spend a relaxed dinner or lunch in an intimate atmosphere I highly recommend it!

02/06/2025: For those who have visited many sushi restaurants in the area, you will surely notice the superiority of this sushi. Excellent quality that is not at all a given in today's all you can eat. Good fish and very well-prepared dishes. Lower price than average, especially at dinner. I would say uramaki is the strong point, but everything else is no less. The only criticism I make is about the soy, I found it too salty and with a strange flavor and I really hope they can change this, but for the rest everything was perfect. I have only been once but I will return, also given the kindness of the staff.

01/07/2025: Restaurant on the outskirts of Lucca, easy to find and reserved parking, a more than positive note. The place offers a very quiet and welcoming location where you can spend an evening in peace and privacy. The food is excellent, above average. We tasted the truffle-based menu, right dishes, balanced and with a truly discreet flavor. Price fixed by menu, recommended for those who want something different, private and above average with a more than fair price! I forgot, the owner is the highlight of the place, we will see each other soon!

23/06/2025: A show!! Beautiful, welcoming, elegant environment. The staff was very kind, professional and attentive without being cloying. Fantastic food. Wine cellar chosen by someone very knowledgeable. A special evening. We can't wait to go back. Really good!!!!

04/09/2025: Everything was excellent; the kitchen staff were very good, and the dining room staff were super kind and welcoming! We had a tagliata, the cockerel, the maltagliati with wild boar, and the roast beef. The price was absolutely right. Special mention for the basket of apples in Calvados and vanilla ice cream, truly sensational! P.S.: There's some kind of AI-made stone print of the Last Supper on the wall, I just don't understand it 🥲

26/08/2025: In the past, it was a Trattoria... Today, it calls itself a Ristorante. It had been about ten years since I had been back, and I was a little disappointed. In the past, we would arrive in a group, be seated and then asked if we had I PRIMI, then I SECONDI, then LA CARNE, il VINO... We were brought an assortment of each, each time, which allowed us to taste a little of all the dishes... At the end, we were brought the bill. Even if the garden is still as welcoming, from now on, each dish is identified and has a price, the quality is adequate but nothing more, and all this makes the experience less satisfying than in the past and I do not think I will return there during my next stay. I miss the past where I had several memorable dinners.
