Ristorante Il Falconiere In Cortona

They have put together the best staff at Il Falconiere. From start to finish no matter what we were up to, they were professional, sweet, & accommodating. We got eloped here and we have to give Claudia a special shoutout because she is special but literally every employee is special. As is the rooms, the property, and the cooking class.

The room was great. The spa and the pool were great. The grounds were great. The restaurant was great. The driveway was a little narrow to reach the property, but the parking was easy. We enjoyed talking to the chef at the restaurant, and the food was excellent. I totally recommend this place.

Went there for my nephew and his bride. The wedding was magical, the most beautiful setting!

This place was out of a dream! The moment we arrived I felt years of stress melting off my shoulders. The scent of flowers and herbs and the epic views are nothing short of stunning. The flavor of the food when dining a light dinner or visiting the Michelin restaurant was fresh and flavorful. Even something as simple as a burrata tomato salad was spectacular. You will also see the head chef making her rounds and welcoming guests as well as working and watering her herbs etc. It’s kind and warming to be welcomed by her. We also enjoyed the spa. The resort was located Very close (10 min by car) to Cortona which had great stores like Del Brenna jewelry (think nicer more artisan version of Kendra Scott or similar to the beauty of Tiffany’s silver line if they overlayed it with 24k gold). They featured many beautiful pieces which of course we had to have. There is a wonderful lavender store with great perfumes. And the leather, goodness…beautiful stores featuring leather at a good price. It was incredible to see how II Falconiere featured various products and craftsmanship from numerous local vendors on their property. Even the products for showering. It’s like you get to enjoy and trial everything and then purchase in town if you love it. Anyways, an absolutely beautiful stay. Every photo I took was stunning without even trying!!!! Pro tip: bring mosquito repellent

I toured some of the vineyards, then visited the winery where they make sparkling wine, and then tasted some of their wines. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the vineyards and winemaking. My compliments to the young woman who accompanied me and explained the winemaking philosophy they use at the winery.

Relais & Châteaux Il Falconiere is a hotel that exceeds all expectations. It's situated in a phenomenal setting, where you truly feel privacy and tranquility, with very well-insulated rooms. We chose a mid-range room, neither the best nor the most basic, and it was still wonderful, with beautiful views of the pool. The spa deserves special mention: it's free, although you have to book, and the experience was excellent. Honestly, I would always return there. In fact, I left thinking that if I ever return to Tuscany, I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation. The only thing that didn't quite win me over was the restaurant. The aesthetics and ambiance are spectacular, very elegant and well-maintained, but in terms of flavor explosion, the food didn't particularly impress me. On the other hand, the hotel wine was marvelous, probably some of the best I tasted in the entire area.

A truly stunning and peaceful location. The structure is of the highest quality, immersed in the Tuscan countryside, with a beautiful pool for the summer months and absolute tranquility. Perfect for high-level ceremonies, weddings, confirmations, or communions. High-quality cuisine, both meat and seafood, with intense Mediterranean flavors. Prices are high, but as we know, quality comes at a price. A truly excellent place.
