The best restaurant in the neighborhood! We arrived without a reservation. Our first reaction was “there is no room left,” but on second thought, and when the maître d' saw that we spoke Italian, the door opened. What an experience. Authentic traditional local cuisine. Full house every single day. We will definitely be back. Very friendly staff.

If you're in Castiglion Fiorentino or Arezzo, you absolutely must visit Muzzicone! Fabulous Tuscan appetizers and delicious meat. We ordered the tagliata and straccetti with balsamic vinegar. I recommend booking in advance because it's always full given the high quality.

A beautiful restaurant with some of the best food I have ever eaten. Probably the best restaurant in Castiglion Fiorentino. The gnocchi gorgonzola is to die for. Reservations are highly recommended for dinner. It's not cheap but the Florentine Steak is a masterpiece. Great wine list.

We ate very well, and the service was good. The final bill, despite the abundant food (crostini, first course, steak, biscotti, and a bottle of Vin Santo), exceeded our expectations. But be careful, I'm not saying they're expensive, just pointing out that what was reasonably priced not long ago is now, for undoubtedly valid reasons, starting to be much cheaper.

30/05/2026: There are probably other good places to eat in Arezzo, but if you want to be sure, Ristorante Antica Fonte is definitely the place to go; it's also excellent value. P.S. The photo of the picio is a half portion since we shared it.
