25/10/2025: Disappointing experience. I asked to sample more than one flavor and was told that boss said I can try only one. When I explained I can’t purchase without tasting, a staff member replied, “No problem, we’ll find someone else to sell to without you.” Very dismissive and not the hospitality you expect in Italy. Given the location on Siena’s main tourist street, I’m sure they’ll sell it anyway. Our kids tried it—gelato was, to be polite, suboptimal.

30/10/2025: Normal food but exorbitantly high prices for a semi-self-service restaurant in a suburban shopping center

25/10/2025: The pizza was definitely not from today. Dry, but you could tell it wasn't from the day before. Terrible, made a lot worse.

27/10/2025: We made a stop because it's so close to the train station, and I'm very sorry to say I'd rather go to the café on the other corner, "Le Sorelline Wine Bar Cafe." It's the same but with friendly, cheerful service and a better atmosphere. The lady who serves here is extremely rude; she does things reluctantly, which is funny because she does it reluctantly, but she has to. We ordered a croissant, a sandwich she made right there, and a beer. When I tried to drink some of my water from my bottle, she told me it was forbidden to drink anything other than that. Very bad service.

02/11/2025: Terrible food; if you banged the schiacciata on the plate, it would break. Everything else was tasteless, the tomato sauce was sour. The only redeeming feature was the drinks. The service was absolutely terrible; the waiter was extremely rude and irritable, even rudely answering one guy who didn't understand his question. The aperitif is absolutely not worth €15. I came last year, it was a completely different story. We had a wonderful time, a huge disappointment.

31/10/2025: Very inviting atmosphere, but the girl at the entrance doesn't greet you either when you enter or when you leave. While you pay, she talks to other people, no interaction. But what I really don't understand is why there are no prices on the menu! Isn't that mandatory? It really bothered me.

12/08/2025: The central station feels even more godforsaken than the city itself. I found myself there, unwillingly, as if I were stopping on a cruise ship. The city is shocking: ugly, outdated buildings, too much silence everywhere, and the streets aren't exactly spotless. Ultimately, I go to the station to escape this place, and as if there were a bathroom, nothing, godforsaken. And if you want to buy anything, the prices are like those of an international airport. Mind you, I'm from the South; my city, Catanzaro, is a thousand light-years ahead of Livorno. I'll never go back, not even by mistake.

25/10/2025: The food was shameful, I found hair, the chicken was raw, the bathroom was horrible, destroyed, and unsafe. I almost felt like vomiting, it's truly disgusting.

25/10/2025: The food wasn't the best; we found more than 7 hairs in the chicken, and it was raw. This was my worst experience, and the bathroom was filthy and destroyed, with hairs on the toilet.

25/10/2025: We've been there many times and the food has been great... but here too... update the opening hours!!!!

17/10/2025: A dirty, unkempt beach. The staff are a whole other story. They're dressed up and painted up, and they don't even want to work. We only managed to book a spot on our second try, and with some help, and they still charged us for an extra day. The prices are higher than anywhere else, the service is nonexistent, and it feels like even after paying through the nose you owe them, not them you. Avoid them; there are better beaches nearby.

03/10/2025: I came because of the schiacciata, but the staff were too rude, English speakers are not welcome here

03/10/2025: We stopped by today to get a schiacciata dolce (sweet flatbread). When we went in, we also saw the cantucci and bought three packets. The staff was very kind and even gift-wrapped the cantucci for us to give as presents. The schiacciata dolce was excellent, really, really good.

As soon as I entered, I found myself faced with a large counter, similar to that of a delicatessen, filled with packaged snacks and chips. A large sign invited me to pay before eating, which surprised and made me feel uncomfortable: I'd never had to pay before even sitting down. The place was almost empty, with only four tables and one person seated, and the atmosphere was rather sad. The area, near the station, is chaotic and unsafe: there's a constant coming and going of unsavory-looking people, and it's certainly not an area where one would want to relax. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, which was served on a black plate, a choice I found truly unfortunate: you couldn't see the color of the sauce or how much there was, and the overall appearance of the dish was unappetizing. The flavor was weak and lacking in character. I ate my fill, but I can't say I enjoyed the meal: I left feeling dissatisfied, full but without any pleasure. The girl who served me was kind and pleasant, but unfortunately, that doesn't take away the feeling of emptiness in the place itself. When you enter, it doesn't feel like a restaurant, it doesn't feel like a bar, and it doesn't feel like a shop. The only thing that makes you think of a restaurant are the menus in the window, but the overall atmosphere doesn't invite you in or even stay. One positive is that the prices are reasonable, though still higher than those of a deli and almost like a restaurant, without offering a restaurant experience. Once you've eaten here, you honestly don't want to return.
