04/10/2025: A hotel that claims to be "3 stars," but deserves to be demolished and rebuilt from scratch. The building is dilapidated, with hideous rooms, moldy walls, and the smell of dust and dirt permeating everywhere. The bathroom? I've never seen anything like it—pitiful conditions, rusty faucets, broken tiles, and fixtures that look like they belong in another era. Plaster falling from doors and doorframes, peeling paint, dusty curtains: attention to even the smallest detail is a completely foreign concept. Another couple of friends received an equally awful room, but at least it had a decent bathroom. When I asked to change rooms, I was told that Booking.com reservations aren't allowed on the first floor, and that we had already occupied the room we were given 10 minutes earlier. Absurd! I asked for double pillowcases: they gave them to me, but I had to put everything on myself. No assistance, no customer service. We're forced to sleep here tonight because we have no alternative, but I can guarantee they'll never see another cent from us. It's a disgrace for those who pay for a decent night's sleep. If you're looking for at least a decent hotel, with clean rooms, a modern bathroom, and honest staff, I would avoid this place at all costs. This isn't a 3-star hotel; it's a terrible joke. I should add that the photos are taken with AI, otherwise there's no explanation.

12/08/2025: Every year during the summer I come here for breakfast, I didn't know about the change of management and unfortunately I have to say that we are not there at all, truly awful, never again.

19/06/2025: Piacevole ritorno dopo 4 anni in quello che viene considerato il miglior ristorante stellato della costiera degli Etruschi. Qui la materia prima la fa da padrone perché viene trattata secondo i dettami della tradizione. Un plauso anche alla gentilezza e simpatia del personale. Bravi perché da anni con fatica e dedizione siete sempre in vetta.

Personally, if someone owns a business, they should welcome a customer both over the phone and in person. A terrible person. I wouldn't go even if they gave me a free lunch!

27/07/2025: Nicht ganz stimmiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – tolle Aussicht, aber einige Enttäuschungen Das Restaurant bietet zweifellos einen traumhaften Ausblick – sowohl während des Essens als auch später auf der Dachterrasse, die definitiv ein Highlight war. Auch das Essen war qualitativ sehr gut: Mein Filet war auf den Punkt gegart und geschmacklich überzeugend. Leider war der Ablauf des Abends nicht ganz rund. Der von mir bestellte Appetizer wurde gleichzeitig mit dem Hauptgang serviert – was den Genuss etwas getrübt hat. Wirklich irritierend war jedoch der Preis für die Kindergerichte: Für einfache Penne mit Tomatensauce wurden jeweils 24 € berechnet – das halte ich für unangemessen, selbst bei gehobener Küche. Wir haben ansonsten lediglich ein Glas Wein und Wasser konsumiert und lagen am Ende bei stolzen 172 €.

04/08/2025: A great refreshment on the way home! Family-run pastry shop; the owner is as chatty as we are. The crostata was excellent, as was my spianatina with prosciutto. Excellent coffee and a good cappuccino. Before leaving, we bought the very delicate cantucci, but I have to say the highlight was the panforte! I've never tasted so good! And the spumini...!!!!! Truly, thank you for existing to the people who, even today, after so many years dedicated to that work, still put their heart and soul into it! We'll definitely be back!

08/09/2025: I asked for a light cappuccino, he asked me what it was, so I asked him to make it with less coffee. He reluctantly handed me a regular cappuccino. Poor, we want to work.

08/11/2025: Rude is an understatement. We order two coffees and a bowl of ice cream. I ask to use the restroom, but they tell me it's closed. Since there's a sign saying it's for customers only, I point out that I've consumed and paid for it properly. An employee rudely responds, saying I could have asked for it before paying, but I reiterate that it's my right to use it in an emergency. Otherwise, they should report the restroom being out of order, not just tell them after they've asked! He concludes by telling me that one less customer won't change his life, but I'm sure it will definitely change his manager's life.

23/09/2025: If I'd seen the reviews for this place before trying it I probably wouldn't have, so I'm glad I didn't. Best plain croissant I've ever had and very good espresso, and not crowded despite the location. The croissant was perfectly light, airy and chewy, much better than ones I've gotten from cafes with much higher ratings.

22/08/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was truly disappointing. When we arrived to check in, the place felt abandoned, and the only sounds we could hear were those of two locals arguing heatedly. The pool needs urgent maintenance: some tiles are unstable and give off a sense of neglect and danger. While walking around the grounds, we still found the remains of fireworks, probably from New Year's Eve, with debris and dirt left on the lawn near the pool. The saddest and most unacceptable thing was seeing two dogs locked in a small, filthy enclosure, full of uncollected feces. They never seem to be let out, and this is truly shameful and inhumane. A place that could have so much potential, but is currently terribly managed. Absolutely avoid.

22/08/2025: Bad experience We probably arrived on the wrong day at the wrong time, but this place has a terrible memory... we had booked for one night... The road to get there is unpaved and not suitable for low-slung cars. The welcome in the afternoon was embarrassing, with a heated argument between the owners or employees, no presentation of the place or its amenities, and no information about possible breakfast/lunch/dinner. The animal and dog enclosures were unpresentable and in disgraceful condition. No one showed up at the pool the entire afternoon, and the flooring needed fixing, with several loose or missing tiles, and a leaky shower. The depth of the pool increases significantly from the middle onward, exceeding 3 meters, making it unsuitable for children, and there was no lifeguard. The garden and all the outdoor furniture gave off a sense of profound neglect... The apartment, on the other hand, is clean and spacious. Regarding the restaurant service, I can't comment on it, as I haven't used it. I will never go back, not recommended

11/10/2025: Weekend stopover First time at this hotel, not bad. I'd say it's very quiet, both in terms of location and comfort. The staff is friendly. The only downside is the parking space, which is a bit inconvenient, but nothing to worry about! I recommend it for anyone visiting Arezzo. Outside the city center, the prices are more affordable, and you're right in the center.
