31/05/2025: **5 Star Review for La Terrazza degli Etruschi, Vetulonia** I just celebrated my 49th birthday with my daughter Sofia in an unforgettable way at La Terrazza degli Etruschi, and I can't help but share my extraordinary experience! Even though we were late and everything was improvised, we were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Cascia, who immediately knew how to make us feel at home. The first courses with Cinta Senese ragù were simply delicious, a true explosion of flavors, perfectly paired with a glass of Chianti superiore red wine that enhanced every bite. And finally, the homemade desserts were the icing on the cake of an already perfect lunch. The panoramic terrace offers a breathtaking view that makes this place even more magical, and the availability of the terrace for us, despite our delay, was truly appreciated. I highly recommend La Terrazza degli Etruschi for its kindness, hospitality and, above all, for the excellent food. An experience not to be missed! Thank you so much for making my birthday so special!

25/08/2025: Delicious homemade pizzas, impressive focaccia. Very friendly and efficient service. I highly recommend it. A good place to eat at a reasonable price, not the exorbitant ones you'll find in most places. They also allow RVs to sleep in the secure parking lot. We are very grateful for the service received by Max and the lady who served us at the table.

10/08/2025: I'm sorry, but our experience at this restaurant was unpleasant. We ordered six takeout pizzas, each more burnt than the last. The pizza was poorly rolled, and the dough inside was rubbery, while the edges were charred and therefore inedible. We thought we'd find a nice, comfortable place to rest before boarding, but it was best to leave. The staff was sometimes helpful, sometimes rude. I recommend that if you want to continue making pizzas, improve the dough; the ingredients themselves were decent.

10/09/2025: The guy who seemed to be the owner of the restaurant was very rude. He practically threw the menu at our table. The food wasn't bad, but nothing spectacular. The service certainly isn't worth the price of the food they serve.

10/09/2025: Despite the mixed reviews we had grilled fish of the day which was delicious. Service was surly at best. Just felt like they didn’t want to be there!

28/08/2025: This is our third time at this restaurant. The year before last, it was great, last year it was significantly worse, and this time it was a disaster. The €24 appetizer consisted of four wafer-thin slices of pâté, a few bocceroni noodles on a bed of arugula, and a scampi cocktail – quite tasty, but completely overpriced! My wife had the octopus, which was okay. It came with mayonnaise from a tube and completely overseasoned spinach. The wild boar ragù was 70% bones and didn't come with any side dish – unfortunately, he left just as hungry as he arrived. My other son and I had the fish soup, which wasn't really a soup but tasted good. Unfortunately, we had to get the spoon ourselves because the waiter didn't understand why you'd want a spoon with soup and was also rude. The crowning glory came at the end. While paying at the checkout, I saw the cook smoking an e-cigarette while preparing the food – an absolute no-go! All in all, a very disappointing restaurant visit – we won't be going there again!

30/08/2025: They charge you three bucks for tap water. I ordered pasta carbonara, and it had everything except carbonara. The pasta was harder than Ironman armor, and it looked like they'd dropped a peppercorn jar on the plate; it was as spicy as its cousin. The service was good, at least; the girl was very friendly. The best part of this restaurant experience was leaving and going to the ice cream shop next door, which is very good. I recommend it. If you can afford it, go here instead. Kind regards.

29/08/2025: Pizza not sliced. Very poor blat compared to what ingredients were seen in the menu. Wrong greater check at the final. Lasagna was good.

01/09/2025: We're not there at all. The appetizers were miserable. The meat... better to leave it alone. It wasn't bad, but we asked for a Florentine steak for 3 people and they brought a nice steak. Having difficulty cutting it (it was on a ceramic plate) we asked, after the waiter's advice, to have it cut in the kitchen. It was cut into 3 (three) pieces. Instead of cutting it cross-grain, he cut it along the grain. Result: sinewy and inedible meat. After making the necessary complaints, the waiter said that the employee was tired. The portions of mushrooms (8) were miserable. I've seen them before. When we asked for clarification, the waitress replied "they're fine like this". Who knows. We spent an amount that could even be reasonable but when paying, in cash (there were 9 of us), a pre-bill was shown. Even when we asked for the receipt, nothing. And they also got the bill wrong, making us pay 595 instead of 575. Stuff from @guardiadifinanza. He may have good eyesight, but they won't see me anymore.

31/08/2025: Beautiful location, but a huge disappointment with the meat The appetizers were average, nothing special; the sautéed mushrooms, on the other hand, were good, while the fried mushrooms were tasteless. The real disappointment came with the 1.6 kg steak: brought to the table whole, I had to ask for a cutting board to carve it, and only then did they offer to take it back to the kitchen for portioning. Unfortunately, it was cut lengthwise, following the grain of the meat, and arrived at the table tough and inedible. We couldn't eat it, and they had to take it away. For the rather high price, I certainly expected a different quality and attention. It's a shame, because the location is charming and would have all the makings of a better experience.

11/09/2025: Pizzeria-restaurant adjacent to the rugby field. We had dinner with an appetizer and pizza. I'd say the Tuscan platter was pretty poor by standard standards, and the pizza (perhaps just mine), made with authentic dough, was very soft and almost undercooked. I didn't find it great.
