If you find yourself in Montevarchi, Antico Forno Canu is a must-see: a place where bread takes center stage in all its forms. ​The entrance, characterized by a few steps, opens onto a room with well-arranged tables lining a long counter, where all their products are displayed. Outside, there's also a lovely terrace with wooden floors and umbrellas, ideal for enjoying lunch or an aperitif in the open air. ​The service was excellent: we were looked after by Walid, a very kind and knowledgeable man. On his recommendation, we tried the schiacciata filled with ingredients of our choice, and it was simply fantastic. The food is excellent, the quality is right for the price and quantity. The waiters are very friendly and cheerful. I was greeted with a warm smile and then lost in conversation and jokes with the young and lively waiters! I recommend them for lunch, dinner, or even breakfast, a snack, or an aperitif!

Excellent food, the schiacciata is phenomenal, and the prominently displayed mortadella always makes a statement. The staff isn't very friendly or welcoming.

The food is delicious as always... the bathroom is very dirty.
