25/08/2025: A great place to eat Peruvian food in Florence. My partner and I had a very pleasant welcome. The waitress was very friendly and the food was exquisite. Excellent for reminiscing about Peru. I'm Chilean and long live Peru!

22/07/2025: The place is nice; we ordered grilled chicken breast with fries, which we enjoyed; the spaghetti carbonara, however, was awful and heavy... For €12, we expected a more decent dish...

16/08/2025: What can I say... a lot of things. We were hungry, we went to this place and once seated, the carnage began. The waiter, who seemed to be having a bad day, DELICATELY placed a carafe of water on the table before asking us for our orders with an accusing look. When he asked me for the sauce for the pasta, his eyes betrayed his words, he wanted to know what sauce we were going to be eaten with. We answered him clearly and with well-executed English and he turned his back on us and walked towards the kitchen with a gait mixing anger and natural lightness. The pasta was... sinister, it had a texture of "we had you good", a taste of "that'll teach you" and the parmesan didn't change anything because this pleasant gentleman took it away from us after a few bites, like a badge on a bad cop. Maybe he wanted to preserve the love he had put into this pasta dish. He then returns with a disdainful step and offers us "a sponk" (a spoon) in a reproachful tone. Annoyed to see that we do not speak the "typo language", he decides to strike with words, but this time in Italian, unleashing his wrath on France and its inhabitants. We did not have dessert, that could have done us a disservice. We went outside and kissed the cobblestones of the tourist street, as if survivors of what could well have been our last meal. Bad experience, I do not recommend it.

15/08/2025: A charming, clean, and well-run trattoria. Just steps from Piazza del Campo, it's a popular tourist destination. Tasty dishes, generous portions, and reasonable prices. The place is small, so it fills up quickly.

24/08/2025: If you're not staying at this hotel, don't even think about visiting it to eat in the restaurant or receive spa services, because they'll treat you like a beggar standing at the door waiting to be let in! How generous of you to allow me into the hotel's premises and eat in your restaurant! It's a great shame on you for treating me this way.

23/08/2025: The classic local pizzeria and trattoria. Friendly service and a guaranteed evening with friends or as a couple! Owner Giuliano is a character from another era. The food is good (I recommend the house crostini for an appetizer), and the penne with salmon and penne with scampi for a first course. The pizzas are delicious and cooked in a wood-fired oven. Parking is nearby.

05/08/2025: The pizza is good and the atmosphere is excellent, but it's unjustifiable in the height of summer that after 10:30 pm you can't even get a coffee or a dessert, even a pre-packaged one.

03/09/2025: The Place to Be in Pietrasanta One evening, while we were in Pietrasanta, we discovered this elegant lounge bar and restaurant while strolling through the streets of the city center. The jazz music enticed us to stop and take a look inside. The decor was superb. We decided to sit down for a drink since it was already late. A couple of regulars were eating, and we noticed they were serving sushi. Judging by the customer satisfaction, I think the quality is excellent. As for the cocktails, they were a real treat. It was a superb evening, and I recommend this place to anyone passing through this beautiful city.

28/07/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance on a Sunday evening, without a reservation and with no expectations. The place is worth it because the food is excellent and plentiful, the service is prompt, and the wait is practically non-existent. The selection of authentically Japanese dishes is remarkable, with many variations and detailed explanations. The price is fair, and the music—strictly jazz—is absolutely unobtrusive and of high quality.

17/08/2025: We stopped last night at the Venere restaurant. The location is charming, the self-service approach to food preparation could have been nice, but we weren't entirely satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food. We had a tomato bruschetta, which was nothing special, and the main course was linguine with sea urchins: mediocre, with many of the shellfish being closed. Looking at the nearby tables, we noticed that the pizza didn't look like a regular pizza, but was very thin and lightly topped. The staff seemed bored and unmotivated. I recommend improving the service, perhaps with porcelain plates instead of paper ones, and the quality of the food.
