14/07/2025: A place where you truly feel at home. Maybe it's because I've been coming here all my life, for work, for lunch.... Never a bad experience. Good food, fast and courteous service.... Delicious menu, always. Very fair prices. What more could you want?...

07/07/2025: We came here for lunch because we had read good things about the place and heard that there are a lot of tourist scams in San Gimignano. It was worth making a little detour. The service was very nice, everything tasted great. We had excellent food at an affordable price. We are glad we had lunch here.

22/08/2025: Very good pizzas and pasta. Magnificent view of Colle. Great service! Everything is perfect. We came regularly during our stay and were never disappointed. Excellent value for money.

21/08/2025: We were lucky with the restaurant; there was a variety of options for every taste: pizza, seafood, and meat. The service was friendly and the restaurant was full (a bit loud, but that's life in Italy 🇮🇹😁). We had to wait a bit longer, but we were on vacation... it's okay. The prices are reasonable. We reserved a table. There was nothing to complain about for us 😂 and parking is available. Enjoy your meal and have a great vacation.

06/09/2025: We spent a wonderful week with Alessandro, Serena, and Vittorio. They are very friendly, attentive, hospitable, and always ready to help. The location is truly beautiful, and the pool is lovely, with its own parasol and sunbeds. The breakfast and dinner are delicious, fresh, and authentic Italian—highly recommended! They also cater to dietary requirements. There's also an honesty bar by the pool and a more luxurious honesty lounge a little further up. The Wi-Fi was also excellent, allowing us to catch up on some essential work. We stayed in a simple two-room apartment with a kitchenette for two people (with air conditioning), which unfortunately was located in a walkway. This made it a bit unsettling for us, especially considering the number of children staying there that week. We saw that the children certainly had a blast. From the reviews, I understand there are more luxurious apartments, which I would recommend more than the one we booked. Regardless, it's a beautiful and very friendly place. It was a wonderful experience!

10/08/2025: Great location on the mountain with a beautiful pool, spacious grounds, and a very child-friendly environment. The children were able to move around freely and were occasionally allowed to help out at the stables. Riding lessons are only available for ages 10 and up. The food is great, but it comes at a price. If you book one of the apartments, you can also cater for yourself. The nearest supermarket is in Rufina, about a 10-minute drive away. Our apartment was spacious, but unfortunately, the bathroom wasn't so nice. Getting the water hot was a challenge, and it didn't stay hot for long. Our bathroom ventilation didn't work very well, so the bathroom always had a musty smell. The air conditioning was important, and it worked perfectly and ensured peaceful nights. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent. The two hosts are very welcoming.

03/06/2025: Preis-/Leistung ist schwer zu toppen. Ein wunderschönes Abenderlebnis. Service Top! Essen Top! Wir hatten einen Tisch mit schöner Sicht in die Landschaft. Reservieren ist empfehlenswert! Wir kommen wieder.

03/05/2025: Ci siamo ritrovati in questo ristorante per puro caso, poiché abbiamo prenotato un B&B vicino ed eravamo in moto . Abbiamo preso solo un primo e un secondo, poiché venivamo già da un pranzo abbondante , ma propongono un percorso enogastronomico che consiglio di fare e che mi dispiace non aver avuto modo di approfondire.Ci hanno accolto con degli stuzzichini di casa ( favolosi 😋). Personale molto preparato, attento e cordiale, piatti molto raffinati e materie prime eccellenti. La cosa sorprendente è il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Ah...anche nel finale sono stati molto cordiali nell' offrire dei dolci mignon fatti dallo chef.. Consigliatissimo

28/06/2025: Clean and quiet environment, familiar, as they say "alla buona", but the food is excellent. Traditional Tuscan menu with excellent steak, tender and cooked to perfection. Very good, of course, also the classic Mugello potato tortelli. More than adequate prices. I always gladly return. 2025. I am updating the review since in the meantime the restaurant-pizzeria has been completely renovated. The environments are very beautiful and well-kept, with a touch of refinement more than in the past. Always excellent service, as is the cuisine. I would like to point out, in addition to what has already been mentioned, the pizzas, truly exceptional both in terms of dough and filling, above all the digestibility is excellent. Congratulations to everyone, also for the friendliness. Well done!

13/05/2025: We are regular customers, it is a guarantee with a remarkable cost-quality ratio... we had pizza night for Mother's Day, pizzas as always tasty and super desserts... I recommend the pears and ricotta and the 7 chocolate dessert... to finish with the Marengo guarantee... highly recommended.

17/08/2025: We stumble upon a trattoria in the Lucca countryside with a stunning garden and decide to stop for a bite. We choose to sit inside simply because it's so hot. It's 1:00 PM and we opt for the tourist menu. The ricotta-filled ravioli with pistachios and basil are delicious, flavorful yet delicate. The second course is a caprese salad with prosciutto crudo, which tastes just like the countryside. The service was friendly and prompt. The price was fair. These days, that's a lot of good.

05/06/2025: Chapeau! ..it's a pleasure to meet up with this ice cream Mr...after a day..after a week..after months.. ..Always! ..same impeccable structure..same flavor of selected ingredients..same balanced sweetness.. ..classic flavors, timeless workhorses such as Pistachio, Hazelnut, Chocolate…African Stracciatella and Nutella..and flavors of the day to choose from.. A very generous ice cream that leaves you with a smile on your face... Andrea + Antonella = winning team! I hug you

01/09/2025: We came back after a while, had pizza for dinner, unfortunately the edge was completely burned, more or less on all the pizzas ordered, a shame because the ingredients were good, otherwise everything was ok, however, it could be improved, I will try other dishes next time.

24/08/2025: I went in and asked if I could use the restroom, specifying that I would be drinking. The girl at the counter asked me, "What would you like?" I asked for a bottle of water. She replied that they didn't have any. I asked for a coffee and she replied, "You can only get it with table service." I then asked if I could pay for the courtesy of using the restroom, and she replied, "You can give me two euros." When I went to the cashier, the gentleman only charged me one euro, but I was shocked by his extreme rudeness.
