Gandhi Ristorante Indiano In Firenze

18/10/2023: Ottimo cibo in un ambiente molto piacevole. Assolutamente consigliato. Ho molto apprezzato che sul loro sito sia disponibile il menù completo con prezzi.

25/09/2023: My daughter recommended this restaurant after she and her husband had eaten there during their honeymoon in 2011. She said it was the best Indian food she had ever had and I have to agree. We had been Italy for several days and were ready for something other than Italian food. This place hit the spot. The folks running it were extremely nice to us after a day in Fiesole when some other restaurants we had stopped in before had not been so nice. Our server spoke some English so we were able to ask questions. The food was spiced just as I love it with a bit of kick to it. Service was superb and when we were leaving and walking by the bar, we stopped to see what liquor they had. Our server insisted we try something, no charge - a cardamom liquor. It was very good. It was a wonderful meal, very reasonably priced, and wonderful people running the restaurant. I was only able to eat half my meal and I know it is not typical in Italy to take home leftovers, but there was no way I wanted to leave that delicious food. They graciously boxed it for me and I loved it again for lunch the next day. We seriously debated on going again the next night.
