The first courses are truly excellent, carefully prepared and fully showcasing Livorno's culinary potential. Authentic, well-balanced flavors express the region with taste and coherence. The only slight disappointment was the service from the younger waiter, who—understandably still in his early stages—appeared rushed and a bit unsure. Specifically, he was about to remove the plate and bottle of wine before they were finished, abruptly interrupting the dining experience. Despite this small inconvenience, the overall quality is exceptional, and the restaurant is definitely worth a visit. A must-try for those seeking authentic, well-executed cuisine rooted in Livorno's traditions.

09/09/2025: Rude and impossible to communicate with, when I arrived there was no one to tell us to sit at table 7 on the floor below, first, no table and written down the number, the clerk didn't even get up to take us to the table, second we just wanted to eat a couple of things quickly we asked to sit at the entrance, if everything was tidy or flat I can understand, but if there is no one, she rudely tells us that the tables above are for people who have difficulty walking, how do you know if I don't have nails in my knees. 02/05/2025: Celebrated my birthday. There were eight of us. At least several different dishes chosen. All served at the same time. Superior quality cuisine. The cake was special and well decorated with flowers and fruit. Attentive, affable and joyful managers. Good price. We will be back.

17/08/2025: The food is quite good, too bad the service is very confusing; it seems like you're bothering me if you ask to sit down for dinner. I still haven't figured out the prices because they vary them at will. Above all, they're too expensive!

20/08/2025: An unforgettable stay... but only because I can't wait to forget it. This guesthouse in the woods should be used as an example in a manual on how not to run a hospitality business. The rooms? So dirty I doubt anyone has ever cleaned them: cobwebs artistically draped in the corners, sheets that tell the story of those who slept there before me, and a musty smell that lingers everywhere. The service? What service? There's no reception, no one to turn to, not even a hint of welcome. If I'd had a serious problem, I think I'd have had to ask the deer in the woods to lend me a hand. A true "nature refuge": a refuge to forget, nature in the sense that dust grows like wild flora. If you want to ruin a weekend and test your limits, this is the perfect place.

28/06/2025: La Cucina del Giardino – highly recommended! Great wines, first-class service, and cuisine that impresses: pizza and pasta with truffles were a dream! Overall, a culinary experience of the highest caliber. I'd gladly return – if you appreciate good food, this is the place to be.

18/08/2025: Prices are higher than stated in other reviews. Service was friendly and fast, location was very good, and the view of the entire square was beautiful. Pizza was good, but too much cheese. Actually, only a 3-star rating because the prices are too high and they automatically charge a 10% "service fee." Too bad, once, never again.

17/08/2025: Il Bandierino is the ideal place for an aperitivo in Piazza del Campo: a great location, discreet service, and affordable prices. The aperitivo option is truly inviting, starting at €8 and including a pizza of your choice. And for dinner, in addition to the Tuscan menu, you can also enjoy a pizza and a drink for around €20 per person. Highly recommended!

03/06/2025: When I arrived I was a little skeptical but the good food and the Abruzzese friendliness of the owner struck me! One thing if you go there try their version of tiramisu it's special!! 5 stars are not enough try it! oh I forgot I ate fish!!

19/08/2025: This morning I went to breakfast at Bar Italia and received some less than pleasant service. I initially asked for a croissant, and was asked if I wanted to eat it in or take it away. I wanted to eat it there. It was served only with a napkin, and I had to ask for a plate. Then I wanted to ask for orange juice, but despite raising my arm several times to make myself visible, the waiters wouldn't listen. So I approached them with my request (a bit brusquely, because I was getting impatient), but they did. This breakfast at Bar Italia didn't satisfy me, and so I think it's right to review it.
