I returned after a while and can confidently say that when it comes to aperitifs, especially glasses of red wine, the quality, service, and value for money are among the best. €7 with crostini and lots of other tasty treats. A must-try.

Il Pinolo is a guarantee: the atmosphere is pleasant both inside and out. The crowd is of varying ages, but generally medium-large (no toddlers!). The staff is always courteous and friendly. The appetizers are excellent.

Top staff, fast and attentive service, excellent food, superb location both hot and cold. Highly recommended for aperitifs, evenings, dinners, and even late nights! The price obviously varies depending on what you order, but you can also spend "just right."

01/05/2026: First time visit. Wonderful quiet peaceful location. Good escape. Sit inside and enjoy the staff and atmosphere. We had the bruschetta and cheese. Two pasta dishes were tasty and really good as well. We were made to feel so welcome like family.
10/04/2026: I stumbled upon this place for the first time during Lucca Comics 2019, and the first thing that struck me was the atmosphere, which, though small, is very welcoming and warm. Their pizza is the second thing that stuck with me! Thin, crispy, with truly tasty ingredients. The staff is always incredibly friendly, even despite the incredible chaos during the comics season, and they make you feel at home! Today I came here to eat with my girlfriend, for the first time outside of the comics festival atmosphere, and I can confirm that I'm only more convinced that this is my favorite place to eat in Lucca! Delicious appetizers, always top-notch pizza, excellent service! Highly recommended!
