05/07/2025: If you’re in town, you must come here! The food was absolutely delicious! We had the Tuscan Steak and it was tasty and melted in your mouth. Make sure you get dessert too, you will not be disappointed with anything on the menu! Highly recommend!!

24/09/2025: The restaurant is quite spacious, welcoming, and atmospheric, with enough room for all customers. The only two problems, in my opinion, are that: 1. They have a lot of waiters, as I've seen them struggle in certain situations. 2. There's little parking for customers. Otherwise, it's excellent value for money and has a great atmosphere. I recommend visiting.

16/09/2025: A great experience, a welcoming venue, friendly and professional staff, excellent and carefully prepared food, and a well-detailed menu of both dishes and allergens. Our 14-course menu, 7 of which were gluten- and lactose-free, was excellent and plentiful!

09/11/2025: We were in Empoli for a weekend to visit our son. We wanted lunch and chose this place. It's a very nice place. The name suggests it was originally an old stable, which they converted into a restaurant, and they've done a great job. They have several rooms, including one that's especially suited to receptions. We were assigned a table in a very beautiful and welcoming room with a fireplace. It was comfortable. We placed our orders: appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. The quality was excellent and the price was fair. The staff was friendly. They also have a large outdoor garden where you can eat outside in the warmer months, and they also host weddings. They also have parking. Overall, it's a very nice and welcoming restaurant, and the staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The quality of the ingredients is good, and the prices are reasonable. They also have gluten-free and lactose-free options. We'll definitely be returning.

25/10/2025: Located on the road with two large parking lots, a charming and welcoming atmosphere, and authentic, traditional dishes. Marisa is a great conversation starter about the dishes and the local area. Definitely worth a try.

09/09/2025: A casual place with excellent pizzas, both plain and with tomato sauce. The Neapolitan-style dough is firm and perfectly topped (I enjoyed a white "mortazza" with mortadella, pistachios, and burrata), which was very enjoyable. The staff is attentive and friendly.

30/09/2025: After visiting the fascinating and legendary Fosdinovo Castle, we had lunch at this lovely restaurant located opposite the castle entrance. The local dishes were delicious. The atmosphere was themed around the castle, with its arches and stonework.

From the handmade pasta, to the delicate and flavorful main courses, to the desserts that seem to have come straight from a family recipe book. Each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients and with a care that is evident at first bite. All accompanied by an extensive wine list, featuring select local labels. The service was impeccable: courteous, attentive, and always smiling. You can sense the love for the region and the authentic hospitality. Being guests at Relais Palazzo del Capitano made everything even more special: it was like living, for a few days, in a Tuscan dream. The experience is complete, harmonious, and profoundly authentic. Highly recommended, both for those seeking authentic Tuscan cuisine and for those who wish to experience the soul of this extraordinary place. We will definitely be back.
